The council of truth was a group of wizards who used an owl emblem as their sign. Some time ago they disappeared from Kear Maga under mysterious circumstances. Our GM also uses an owl emblem - and also disappeared under mysterious circumstances recently.
Coincidence? Or part of a bigger conspiracy?

I'm in favor of waiting a while longer, too. I really don't want this game to die, and I would like to finish it with the original cast (including Idyll as our GM).
In the meantime, is anyone interested in passing the time with an inconsequential mini-adventure where a bunch of newly ascended gods (us and the skeletton snake) have to find out why all the owls are disappearing from Kaer Maga, what is taking these golems so long to conquer Golarion, how to control half-elf birth rates, and why there aren't more visitors in the wild animal and water ride park?

Yeah, I'd prefer not to haggle over a date either. If the time comes to start back up and I'm not in a position to continue, then I'll call it then. Until that time, I'll wait.
One thought of mine too was to have our newly-apotheosis'd gods cross the planes and show Pelor who's boss.

Hello everyone!
When I left a month ago, I fully intended to come back sooner and boot up as best I could the old games I had started. I am back, but my plans have changed slightly.
I appreciate all of your enthusiasms, but I will be starting up a single new campaign rather than relaunching my old ones. I bit off more than I could chew last time and I need to manage my time and player expectations better this time.
As such, I will be stepping away from this campaign - which, going back and reading through your discussion post-leaving, kind of breaks my heart. You guys were awesome and I had a ton of fun gaming with you. I encourage all of you to apply for the new PbP I'll be recruiting for in the coming days.
Also, this group shouldn't die, so please, do, try to find another GM. Kaer Maga has much to uncover!
Thanks again for your patience and I apologize for not being able to continue our journey through the Ossuary.
See you around the boards!

Hey Idyll, thanks for letting us know at least, and for the invitation. Is recruitment for your new campaign up yet? I did enjoy you as a GM, so thanks for at least going as far as you did. I'm sad to hear everything got overwhelming.
I'm not even sure how to go about finding a new GM. Can we open up the recruitment thread of this campaign and rename it? I'm up for at least trying, even if it ends up not coming to anything.

If it keeps up he'll earn a bad rep for starting games,
but never finishing them
(This is the 5th canned game out of I think 7).
----------------------------------------
When A GM takes over odds are he'll keep most or all the character creation rules.
I've taken over a few games and rarely changed anything
(though I will drag 25-point buy down to 20-point buy)

A curly brown haired man in a labcoat knocks on the door while holding up the 'DM Wanted' sign. He gives a sheepish grin and waves to the party.
Hello everybody. I am here responding to Elizabeth's request for a replacement DM for your Godsmouth Heresy game. I am sorry to hear of such circumstances, but I would like to help this adventure get back on track.
While I have DM'ed multiple PbP games in the past, I've never done so on the Paizo boards. I've been itching to get back into running a PbP game and I believe this would be a good start.
I must say I love the party chemistry from what I've read and the quick posting speed.
I will say that maps are not my strong point but for this module they really don't have to be. I don't know what you've been used to but I planned on sticking with Excel sheets if you don't mind.
All in all I don't see anything I would change rules or charcater-wise. The only thing is that I typically use group initative for PbP games. This way the players can go anytime they want when they want their PC to act. One person isn't waiting for another or saying they are delaying after somebody or some such. The rolls are determined by d20 + the average initative modifier of the PCs vs d20 + average initative modifier of the bad guys. At this point in time, what ever way you want is fine.
If everything looks good, I can be up and running when you guys are.

Awesome. Thanks for helping us out!
*hands some fried darkmantle to the new DM*
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "sticking with Excel sheets" in the context of maps. I think Idyll used to paste our avatar images onto parts of the map from the pdf. But go ahead and use whatever is easiest for you.
As long as I can see where I am in relation to the others I am happy with it. Doesn't have to be pretty.
I'm okay with party initiative.
@Elizabeth: dog thingies? I thought they were vaguely humanoid. Are you sure you aren't confusing them with Ruckus? (He only wants to play, I believe)
| Durnolf Banderswel |
Hey! Thanks for answering the call, that's pretty awesome. I'm ready pretty much whenever, although I might be going to Cedar Point tomorrow, where roller coasters will take precedence over posting.
And nooooo, don't fight Ruckus! Weren't they ghouls or something like that? I was hoping we'd thoroughly thwomped them.

Thank you Mr. Undertable. Could use some hot-sauce. =v)
I see where the party is at and have a pretty good idea of what you've been through already.
The party is currently fighting a pair (now 1)"ghoul-dogs".
When we get going, it will attack . . . I mean throw gold at you.
Also, anybody using Hero Lab for your sheets, would you mind sending the file to me? nebten (at) yahoo . Thanx!

Oops, sorry, Neb, I must have been thinking of Geb and Nex earlier. I was ill, and on a smartphone, and there were small humans about. I'll make up for it with a .por file.
And Elizabeth, you did it! Wow! I didn't think GM recruitment was possible!
