Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Kutukan's mojo vibe doesn't quite penetrate the affliction's influence, but the ape-man is once again a little weaker in his defenses.

Kardiv
Ape-man (-21)
Januzaj

Sovereign Court

M Human Paladin/2 (HP 17/17 | AC:17 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB:4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+5 | Ref:+6 | Will:+5 | Init:+6 | Perc:+5 | Speed 30)

Kardiv again fires at the ape-man, connecting with a powerful arrow,
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Liberty's Edge

Stats:
AC 16/13/13, HP 9/9, F+3, R+5, W+1, Init +7, Per +5, Speed 30

I am guessing that is enough to finish the guy off? If so:

Seeing the ape-man fall, Januzaj moves to his side to stabilize him. Maybe this man will have more information if he can be revived.

Heal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

If he isn't down, I'll take a shot with my sling.

To Hit: 1d20 + 2 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 2 + 1 - 4 = 8
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Yes, that was enough.
If someone aids Januzaj in his effort, the man can be stabilized.

Kardiv keeps true with his aim, as his arrow takes down the ape-man.

Combat over.

A small cloud of mist exits the man's mouth, as he reverts to human form.
It is now, that you notice the headless body lying in the back. Merely 10 ft away lies the missing part, a head of a half-orc in an outfit like the former ape-man's.

But more distracting, is the sound of drums and the screams that seem to come from behind the wall, something's going on in the great hall.

The Exchange

Stats:
AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7

Greydrake leans over to try to help Januzaj stop the man from bleeding out all over the disgusting floor. "Do you all hear the same sound I do coming from back there? Sounds like we'd better hurry up and check it out. Let's leave the last door with the batheads and see if that is the source of the mist."
Heal: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Take 20 for 27 Perception on the door to the Great Hall if everyone is ok proceeding there next.

I doubt they'd object. ^^

Liberty's Edge

Stats:

"Sounds like a great plan to me. Now that this one is stable, let's check out that ruckus."

As you leave the sanitarian facilities, the drums and noise become louder the closer you get to the great hall's doors. Flanked by Kardiv and backed bu Kutukan and Januzaj, Greydrake pushes open the doors.
----------------------------------------------------
The great hall, wherein the Blakros Museum shows off its finest collections. Mock vines cling to the walls and hang from the fifty-foot-high domed ceiling, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area.
At the center of this sprawling chamber, a miniature replica of a
traditional Mwangi ziggurat rises out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail-thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.

The elf has gone bananas, as he screams just as loud as the many apes and monkeys that are ruffling their hands and drums. But next to the Zigurrat, is a large aggressive looking ape, a muscular gorilla.
"Ohh-ooh, GRRUWAAAHHH!!!!!"
It has seen the new arrivals and is in for a rumble.

Insert any pre-combat RP. ;)

Perception DC 12, brown smiley:

You notice a strange monkey between the other apes.
Its skin looks rough and more of a bark-ish brown.

Greydrake's attention is fixed on the elf and gorilla. "That must be Aldain. And the biggest freakin' ape I've ever seen! You all ready?!?"
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

I was going to ask if anybody needed healing, but I guess not.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

"It'll take a beauty of a shot to kill that beast."

Kutukan puts the evil eye on the monster, doing his best to blunt the power of the impending charge.

-2 to attack rolls, cackle. By my count he is just barely within the 30 foot range.

You don't quite have a los on the gorillla. On these maps those doors usually occupy half of a square.
However, if you enter the hall and head south, there's still possibility to hex him within 30ft. I've marked said square with a triangle.

Will gorilla, DC 15: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
On the skin of its teeth.

The gorilla is only barely affected by Kutukan's mojo and proceeds to move towards the frontliners.
1d2 ⇒ 2
Slam vs Kardiv: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 - 2 = 9Dmg: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Kardiv easily dodges the gorilla's fist.

Kardiv, Greydrake & Januzaj

Sovereign Court

M Human Paladin/2 (HP 17/17 | AC:17 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB:4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+5 | Ref:+6 | Will:+5 | Init:+6 | Perc:+5 | Speed 30)

Kardiv draws his greataxe, ready to go toe to toe with the gorilla.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

That's a sure hit, the gorilla growls in anger.

The Exchange

Stats:
AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7

Greydrake watches the gorilla approach, looking for a sign of weakness or a place to slip in a blade. When it attacks he thinks he sees an opening under its arm and tries to stab into an artery.
Move action to study. Five foot step forward. Attack.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Greydrake slashes the gorilla across the chest.
"GRUWAAAHHH!", only infuriating it even more.

Januzaj's turn.

Botting Januzaj's action.

Bomb away!: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 3 - 4 = 21d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
A miss...
1d8 ⇒ 3
Reflex DC 14: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6Fail, 5 splash dmg.

The gorilla is disabled, but still furious.

"I don't like the looks of that creepy little one."

Kutukan moves to get a better view of the strange monkey and gives it the evil eye.

-2 to AC for the thing

Ah..i forgot about the little one :)
Muhahahaha

It moved.
Kardiv can make a DC 12 will save, or be cursed.
What penalty: 1d2 ⇒ 1
What ability score: 1d6 ⇒ 1
-4 penalty to strength if he fails the check.
----------------------------------
Will ?? DC 15: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
-2 AC for 8 rounds.

The gorilla makes 1 slam, before collapsing.

M Human Paladin/2 (HP 17/17 | AC:17 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB:4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+5 | Ref:+6 | Will:+5 | Init:+6 | Perc:+5 | Speed 30)

Haha, if you want to take the penalty for me, I'm fine with that.
Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

Kardiv resists the bad mojo coming from the bark-ish looking monkey.

At this point, you can roll to your heart's content, it's attacks can't even deal lethal dmg. After which the credits and any RP can roll.

Sovereign Court

M Human Paladin/2 (HP 17/17 | AC:17 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB:4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+5 | Ref:+6 | Will:+5 | Init:+6 | Perc:+5 | Speed 30)

Seeing as apparently this is our last enemy, I might as well burn my smite.
Kardiv drops his greataxe and draws his bow, calling on his divine patron to grant him power against his final foe.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

It deals 5 dmg, 10 more to go. ^^

Sovereign Court

M Human Paladin/2 (HP 17/17 | AC:17 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB:4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+5 | Ref:+6 | Will:+5 | Init:+6 | Perc:+5 | Speed 30)

Why did only do half? If it's because of DR, then smite bypasses it.

Does smite bypass hardness?
In which case it's still got 5 hp left.

Sovereign Court

M Human Paladin/2 (HP 17/17 | AC:17 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB:4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+5 | Ref:+6 | Will:+5 | Init:+6 | Perc:+5 | Speed 30)

I don't think it bypasses hardness, so it should still only do 5 damage. I wasn't sure if it was DR or hardness, so I figured I'd ask.

Liberty's Edge

I think I still have a bomb or two left, might as well use them.

Januzaj steps up to hurl a bomb....

To Hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10

But....vulnerable to fire ;)

Januzaj's bomb flies effortlessly at the strange monkey.
The room falls silent, as it falls over scorched. Furthermore, the primates seem to become more primate in behavior, scratching themselves and they flee the scene. The elf up on the ziggurat comes to his senses, at the same time Kardiv's condition reverts as well.

Elf: "Who....what..where?"
*Looks down*
"Pardon, could you help me down please?"

Sovereign Court

M Human Paladin/2 (HP 17/17 | AC:17 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB:4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+5 | Ref:+6 | Will:+5 | Init:+6 | Perc:+5 | Speed 30)

Kardiv himself actually seems different as well, he loses a bit of the primal power that he seemed to have had behind him this last day, and he is much more conversational now that the combat is over.

Liberty's Edge

Stats:
AC 16/13/13, HP 9/9, F+3, R+5, W+1, Init +7, Per +5, Speed 30

Januzaj looks at the elf questioningly.

"Before we let you down, you are going to tell us what happened here.

*Blink..blink*

"Ah, yes, of course.
Just the other day, i've aquired a few pieces from the mwangi expanse.
Monkey shaped idols, to be exact. There was something to them, but this morning i started to feel light headed and passed out, the last thing i heard being the vague sound of primates and a mist befalling the museum."

......thoughtful pause...

"Have you seen any of my scribes? Are they ok?"

Liberty's Edge

Stats:
AC 16/13/13, HP 9/9, F+3, R+5, W+1, Init +7, Per +5, Speed 30

"We were able to save several of your scribes. They have already been escorted out of the museum, or at least stabilized. We have one more area of the museum to clear, but it appears that all the monkey business is over."

Januzaj delivers the last line with a slight smirk on his face.

Scarab Sages

After the last line, the whole group starts laughing for a few seconds before a freeze frame effect kicks in.

They just might ;)

Nigel is very grateful for your effort.
"Do tell me though, how is it you came to the museum at this late hour?"

The Exchange

Stats:
AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7

"Adril Hestram sent us. On behalf of the Pathfinder Society. You see, he'd heard one of our renegade agents might have put you in a tough spot. No fault of your own I'm sure." Greydrake adds with a wink. "You might say we're specialists in making problems like this go away. I heard you and Adril aren't as close as you one were. Might be time to remedy that." Greydrake smiles with a predatory grin.

A tear form in the elf's right eye.

"Adril did?...*sigh*....Stubborn guy...but a good man in the end."

Couple of seconds pause....

"Tell Adril,....i'll be happy to open the museum to the society's scholars to study the objects within. It looks like i'll have to pay him a visit in the near future. As for the four of you, again you have my utmost thanks for stopping this madness."

With which the scenario is practically officially over.
I'll keep this open for any short RP between the group until tonight.
