Just a quick update. Looks like I will have some map time tonight, so I should get everything settled. Craig/Sstheno I believe is going to be AWOL for this fight. If anyone feels like trying to run her, feel free.
The horribly-transformed Maelrin scuttles towards Jena, a pair of spider mandibles working where his lower jaw used to be.

N6 for Merle please Seph will be K5 In cat form
Phew, finally getting some map time in. I didn't realize k5 was under Lauralia
As Seph scampers under the slender sapling, his mind is filled with a choir singing at a deep tone. Lauralia looks to be a tree about 10 years old, even though she was just planted. Beautiful teal-colored onion-shaped leaves fan out in an umbrella above his head.
::Little one, be not scared. You are welcome under my canopy::
The tree's mental choir ratches up a notch.
Ekuur feels a familiar mind probing his
::Bearer, once again you stand in my defense. I will give you what I can::
Ekuur your mana pool is open wide. You can cast without spending power for now.
I am trying to get this map settled, but it is a long process. Please bear with

Ok, move to m14, then cast the wall. He will cast it 20' in front of the drow, with the heat radiating towards them. The length is 140', so I should be able to cast it across the field. Now, as I don't recall the full description of the area, if there is any risk of setting fire to plant life or buildings, I'll scratch that and cast a different spell.
I'm sorry I didn't respond to this earlier, I honestly missed it. The problem is that you are actually in a couryard garden space with many flammable things about.

Karrin Kind
Just to be clear the person in front of Karrin is a villain correct? Karrin will take a 5ft step away (Karrin has a 10ft reach remember) and unload on it:
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 183d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 4, 2) + 10 = 21
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 263d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 3, 2) + 10 = 18

Lady Hel charges on her nightmare, the beast's hooves striking sparks off the courtyard cobbles. The hideous harlequinn lopes over to where Karrin is going and makes to block her stroke. The crook-necked man points a finger and a blast of fire engulfs Sanna and Justin. Lady Hel lowers a lance and charges Rhiannon.
Empowered maximized fireball 5d6 + 60 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 6, 4) + 60 = 79 DC 19 Reflex save for half
Lady Hel: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 231d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Again, apologies. I have been working on this for about 2 hours and I am just falling out. I'll do more soon
Rhiannon d'Deneith
Before I post my action I just want to get your thoughts on mounted figts with two poeple charging at each other. Standard combat rules make it so the higher init always wins since after their charge, the other person has to move away on their turn to gain enough room for a charge, at which point the 1st person just charges again. In reality both people charge each other, the Higher init striking and reacting 1st.

Not wanting to raise a fuss but is the maths for that fireball right (not seeing where the extra 5d6 is coming from? Also a maxamised Empowerd fireball is an 8th lvl spell slot (ie 15 lvl wizard is it not?) Like I said not wanting to make a fuss but if the lady's minions can do that it is going to be a very short fight

Could be a scroll, could be holding a metamagic rod, there's a bunch of reasons that could be pulled off at a lower level, what works for players works for NPC'S. the 5d6 is from empowered, he rolled the extra 50% as he was supposed to, multiplying the damage by 1.5 would have made it worse (90 damage instead of 79)
Dungeon Monkey
You know, looking back on the math, that caster should only get a Maximized fireball. He can only cast 6th or higher. Good catch there Merle. So, as maximized the damage would only be 60 not 79. I think Sanna is still crisped, but could be stabilized now. I am under a lot of time stress (like right now). So I just want to warn you guys I might make some mistakes in this battle. If you see something wrong, please call it out.
I think that two charging folks should hit each other, that's what makes sense to me. Just getting the higher unit roll seems wrong IMO. I would think you would both hit and then do your damages and just wheel and try again. I'll admit I am green on charging, so I am thinking a reflex save to remain horsed? I will study the rules a bit. I am likely not going to get to my older comp tonight, I am typing this on my iBorg. I will have some time this weekend, in shah Allah.
Rhiannon d'Deneith
Rhiannon locks eyes with Lady Hel as a moment of silent challeng passes between them, moments before both women begin thundering across the battlefield.
As she lowers her lance, the noble Cavalier braces herself, shadowy black mist trailing her mighty charger as the two collide with a resounding crash. She grimicas as the enemy woman's lance drives home, feeling a rib or two crack as her armor dents, but maintains focus as she guides her own lance point into her opponent's torso.
Cavalier's Charge + Challenge 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 15 + 2 = 26
2d8 + 6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 3) + 6 + 7 = 20
As much as I hate to point it out a lance does double damage on a charge, and it looks like you only rolled 1d8
Anyone attacking Lady Hel gets +2 to attack. Anyone seeing Rhiannon's banner on the battlefield gains an extra +2 on a charge

Ref save:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Oh,... cr@p,...
I don't seeanything on Jusin's person that's going to save him from a very thorough crisping. ;P
Justin looks up from his prepatory casting, his hands already full of stinky bat-guano and sulphur mixture. The words die still on his tongue as he realizes what the enemy caster is doing,... and that his tongue is no way fast enough to counterpell what is already incoming,...
By my math, Justin is now -12HP (-1 for his iron brooch) He likes fire, but he prefers it focused on someone else! ;P
Isaac
If I can act this turn (not sure if my movement counts for this one or not), this is what Isaac will do. Running diagonally (5 feet for the first square, 10 feet for the next square, alternating) I should just be able to make it 40 feet to U31 and attack Crookneck. Also-don't forget Meralindiel's inspire courage +4.
Isaac barrels though the grass, swinging for the mage with the broken neck.
Frost Greatsword: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 192d6 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (6, 2) + 8 + (3) = 19
And if he's undead, that's 21 attack and 21 damage for favored enemy.
Dungeon Monkey
Quick drop in. I will be working on this today after my chores are square.
Justin feels the searing pain of the fireball engulf him. fortunately the shock sends him into unconciousness.
Sanna's body is engulfed as well, and a high shreik comes from her as she falls.
Seph runs over and trys to stanch the wounds. He touches Justin and a secion of skin slides off, revealing a raw red wound. He tries his best to bandage him. He is still breathing, if irregularly. I assume in catboy form
Issac takes a swing at the crooked-cranium caster. The blade slices close, but is deflected at the last with a slight blue flash that Issac has seen inMage Armor spells before. Close, but no ceegar
Merle runs towards the burn victims.
BBL
Ekuur
"Turn about is fair play, I suppose," remarks Ekuur, as he sends a fireball back towards the crook-necked man.
Fireball, detonating where I can catch the crook-necked man and the harlequinn, but avoiding Karrin.
7d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 2, 5, 1, 3) = 25
Ekuur then hurries back towads Justin. Move action towards Justin.
EDIT: As I missed Isaac's action, I'm going to change, if that's OK. Ekuur will cast bull's strength on himself, and then take a move action to intercept Maelrin.

he's still breathing, so Seph is doing him some good. He is untrained so he is unsure how well he is stabilized

Quick update. I will have some time to work on this game this afternoon. I am thinking that Stheno will have to be kept offscreen, I don't think Craig is going to have time to work her, but if anyone wants to run her feel free. If I don't hear anything I will assume no.
The undead-looking fellow with the severely bruised and stretched neck turns to Karrin. His side has a large gaping wound where Ferissirion bit into him. A little black ichor dribbles out to stain his shabby-looking clothing. Despite his obvious power, Crookneck looks like the corpse of an old hanged theif that someone reanimated. His clothing is simple homespun dotted with dirt and mold stains. A disreputable hat is perched precariously on his 45-degree-angled head.
"I seeeeeee you." Crookneck croons in a rusty voice
The demonic jester cackles and readies his weapons
Justin Case
Sorry. Sincere apologies for absence. RL/work. Again. Thanks for the save Seph! ;)
Justin groans slightly.
Justin looks around. The last thing he remembers is seeing that weird caster tossing off a fireball chant. He instinctively starts to shout a counter-casting, but then stops. 'Where in the bleeding, bloody,...? Where am I?!?' Justin looks around, but all he can see is darkness. Not the pitch blackness of an enclosed room, or behind closed eyelids, more like,... fog in near-darkness. It's pitch black, but he feels as if he COULD see. If he could only focus his eyes right. From somewhere far away there comes the faint din of battle. And was that the unmistakable WHUMP of a fireball?

"I see you too spanky," Karrin snarls, "And I think you will find it is a far worse situation for you. Nobody gets to beat up my friends but me!"
Karrin is going to quick cast true strike, use power attack, and then she's also going to use her Arcane channeling to channel a shocking grasp spell through her axe:
1d20 + 34 ⇒ (3) + 34 = 373d6 + 15 + 1d6 + 5d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 6, 3) + 15 + (4) + (1, 4, 3, 4, 5) + 4 = 51
That's 4 cold, 17 electrical damage
"You can have a taste as well chuckles," Karrin says as she cleaves into the jester:
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (13) + 14 = 273d6 + 15 + 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 1, 2) + 15 + (2) + 4 = 28
2 cold damage
These attacks include the +4 from inspire courage.

Yowich! OK, he gets an action before this engages. Ouch. The attack on the Giggler is nil right?
Golks, moving forward, and tomorrow looks good, I am going dark here in a few moments unfortunately. I will get the game straight and hopefully we can move on

Seph seeing Merle approaching moves over and attempts to help Sanna

1d20 + 1
Seph has a hard time knowing where to begin on Sanna. Her once proud elven features are now burnt to almost unrecognizability. Fissures lace her skin, and weeping rivulets of clear pus ooze from them. Seph attempts to bandage her, but the linens he uses are soaked through almost immediately.
Justin Case
Justin Gasps as a sudden chill passes through him. Like the shock of being dunked in icy water after a hot day of work. The darkness briefly looks like it may have become a shade lighter,... and,... 'That's Karrin! I'd know that angry voice anywhere. Some-body's in trou-ble!' He sings with a grin.

I've sort of lost track of where we are in the round. Still haven't put up my first round's actions because I go after the bad guys in initiative and somehow didn't realize that they'd all gone already. My bad. Well, I'll just put up both actions now then so I don't fall behind twice. :)
Seeing Sanna and Justin badly hurt from a fireball, Nari manifests energy adaptation to increase her chances of survival and draws her bow. As she manifests, not only do her green eyes glow, but her hair lights up as if lit with inner fire and her skin also sparkles with psionic energy.
She attempts to pick up Maelrin using telekinesis and hurl him at the Giggler .
Maelrin gets a DC 17 Will save to avoid being picked up and thrown.

I wasn't sure if he went ahead of me or not, the attack on the giggler is a cleave attack, Karrin only needs to hit with the first attack to hit with the second. Quick reminder: Karrin is fun sized right now (i.e. Large sized), if this guy moves more then 5ft Karrin gets an AoO, if he casts spells he needs to do it defensively or Karrin gets an AoO, Karrin takes up four squares and has a 10ft reach so she can control a lot of the grid.
