…worried about the bombs the ratfolk is carrying...last time I travelled with an alchemist, half of the arts district in Pitax burnt down after one of his flasks spontaneously exploded…nice fellow, wish we could have buried him properly…

you crash through the window, landing on a small table with some dishes on it. The table a dishes go flying (no damage to you). You are lying on the floor with a strange, three legged metal thing beside you. It is grey and white, a vaguely humanoid from the waist up. Its one blazing red eye looks at you. The side if the creature is opened up and you can see exposed wires and lights which are causing the sparking, hissing noise you hear. It reacts fast to your entry and slams a four fingered metal limb at you. you are hit and take 6 hp

A loud thud can be heard from inside, and a grunt of pain from valia.
You then hear a voice

When you are having one of those days. Jumping through windows, caught in the solarplexus by rampaging Row Boughts. When your friend has gone missing, and the chips are down, an elf keeps a stiff upper lip, then lashes back out.

Anody puffs his way to the others and surveys the scene. Ahrm, is everyone alright? You seem to be hurt Valia. turning towards the hurt citizen he essays a short bow. Young lady, Val yes? Your scream gave us quite a start.

Finally inspecting the wreck of the machine he says Fascinating. I think I was able to understand what it was saying. Never heard Androffan spoken before but the sounds fit all of my notes on how it should sound.

Earlier...

"A robot?  I must change my plan of action."  Turning to the others, speaking of Val as if she weren't standing in front of them all, "This Val is a friend?  If the robot is a threat to the innocent, then it must be eliminated."

Ardash advances into the house moments after Valia jumps through the window, assisting in bringing down the robot gone haywire.  With my favored enemy bonuses, plus power attack, I can only assume that Ardash helps in surreptitiously murderizing the thing.

Presently...

After Anody mentions that he could understand the robot, Ardash swiftly addresses him, "The robot's language is known to you?  What did it say before powering down?"

Sharae shouts into the house, hoping to get the attention of Valia or Ayla, ”Is it safe yet?”

When she is happy that the girl has regained her composure and that the threat has passed, Sharae turns to the girl, ”Will you be okay to answer my friend’s questions?”

Val looks at the party yes, thank you. thank you all. It just activated. I mean I looked at it a day ago but it was just metal, dead metal.
She shook her head. something changed. But what. You have questions. I'll answer what I can.

…it’s lucky Valia decided to scout this place out…otherwise she might not have made it out…
