Cast Blessings of Fervor on the party.

Gotcha there, I adjusted Percy and Boffins on the map :) Ice Tomb is great! We can chip him out later.

Delays action

"If you want me in the doorway, in this new large size, you will need to move..." he suggests.

Actually I can probably move at the moment, as enlarge person takes a full round to cast, but then we'll be in the same bother with folk getting pushed away by his new size. Generally btw, Vrald doesn't benefit from enlarge person. He stands around taking a beating while others get in and do the actual killing.

Silver Crusade

Maps and Handout

Good point, I always forget Enlarge Person is a full round action, not enlarging til Dame Day's next turn, which is now. I guess technically you could make a Fort save to resist or I wouldn't mind if Dame Day retconed her round 1, if you would prefer not to be enlarged. Feel free to decide.

You hear a rush of movement behind the door, but it does not yet open.

Ready action to cast Hold person (DC 18 will) on a target that looks like a threat. (Someone in full plate vs a prisoner in rags)
Also, for those that need it, each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).
• Increase its speed by 30 feet.
• Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of
opportunity.
• Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its
highest base attack bonus.
• Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC
and Reflex saves.
• Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an
enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.
These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as
those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually
grant an extra action, so you can’t use it to cast a second spell
or otherwise take an extra action in the round.

Everyone has readied themselves; then the doors open inward almost as if guided by ghostly hands, except Dame Day, Vrald, and Brother Theo can see there are men behind the doors. Another garundi man stands at the far in end of what appears to be a dining hall with a scroll in hand.

The men hiding behind the doors will be difficult to hit. Improved Cover to melee

Dame Day and Vrald will let you decide whether you want to try your readied attacks on the men who opened the doors against there improved cover, let me know yea/nay.

Lord Percy you can see the garundi man and can magic missile him roll your damage, the other 2 have total cover against you.

The men do not appear to be prisoners, they seem to well kept. No guards names appear in the book, only prisoner names.

Well, why you interrupting the operations of the prison, who gave you the authority? One of men retorts. Clearly not willing to cooperate with you despite surrendering.

When the uniforms are mentioned, they seem noticeably uneasy.

The Exchange

message to Mr. Blakros:
"Prisons have, umm . . . routines. Uh, lots of them.

As Mr. Blakros starts asking about the prison's daily routines, Fek peeks around the corner Stealth: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40 to see the guards' expressions. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

Elf HP:79, AC: 19/T:13/FF:16 - Percep: +19(LL) F: +8/R: +9/W: +12 - CMB: +5- CMD: 18, Speed: 30ft, Init: +6

Percy chuckles "Indeed, indeed" he mutters, seemingly to himself.

"You are prison guards, and I am a fire giant. Perhaps you could inform us of the timings and routines of your daily checks? I suspect not - because those uniforms simply confirm what we already knew. We did not arrive by happenstance or kismet we came here deliberately, based on information divulged to us. The question is, and the only one you need to ask, is 'just how useful do I want to be to my captors, so as best to have them take the most pity on my plight', and if it were me, the answer would probably be 'very', but then again I am not you and perhaps you are of an immovable mind to die for a lost cause. Best you simply start singing soon, for at present things are not unsalvageable and no lives have been lost. I urge you to listen to my companion."

"Boffins, serach the place"

The Faerie Dragon gets to searching the place thoroughly.
Perception 14, will search Iceman and his office first - probably Take 20. Will use Detect magic to help.

The Exchange

As soon as Fek hears Boffins rummaging around, he sprints into the office and starts searching too. Perception: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (17) + 22 = 39 +3 vs. traps

GM:
Fek pockets anything that might be an oil or potion, as well as one random thing of your choice. If possible, he will take 10 on the Sleight of Hand checks for a 39.

Sovereign Court

NG Male Human HP 94/94; Reroll @+3 1/1; Fighter 9; AC 36 (normally 35) (+2 vs a crit confirm); FF 32; touch 15; Fort +9; Ref +6; Will +8; Perc +1; Init +2;

Vrald just remains still, looking a little confused. However he knows his role here and he makes sure the 'guards' know that they are not to cause problems.

"If you are guards then the prisoners will know you, I'm sure." he notes.
