We've got almost 1,400 gp in pearls and coins, which works out to a little less than 200 gp each.

Hmm...with her share and most of Dom's Jessi will have enough to get a student loan from her family to join the opera society. Dom can then give the rest of his share to Davina for her alchemical lab. Sounds like a plan! ;)

The lab will get purchased one of these days. At level 2 I'm going to learn an extract that will give me a luck bonus to craft alchemy. That should help with the blown out windows issue.

Yeah, once the GM put that bug in my ear, I've been itching to have Jessi join. At some point, being a member will allow Jessi to multiclass yet still keep gaining bard spells known/per day. Plus, it'll give her (and, by extension, the new Silver Ravens) access to some of Kintargo's movers and shakers.

Well, considering the map and who's going where, maybe Dom should go with Davina and Lucius to Kelimber's and from there to the Eradon home.

Jessibel, Kiri, and Leora could take the longer loop to Jarvis End for Jessi's errands.

Lydia's still uncommitted. She could choose either group, or we could all escort her to Songbird Hall if she chooses to stay there.

Loot update
I updated the loot sheet and marked off who took what per everyone's posts. In a day or two once everyone has updated their character sheet with the loot they took, I'll delete them from the loot sheet. Thank you Jessi for summarizing it above. To reiterate:
-Davina - +1 lamellar armor, mwk silver dagger
-Kiri - Cloak of Elvenkind
-Jessi - composite shortbow, Juliac family ring?, light mace, black and red studded leather, thrune amulet, manacles
-Dom - mwk silver morningstar
-Leora - mwk light crossbow, thrune amulet, black and red studded leather

Does anybody else want to hang onto a Thrune amulet or the black and red studded leather?

Who wants to appraise the quartz earrings and silver coat buttons?

We also technically need someone to make a DC 20 spellcraft check to identify the cloak of resistance +1.

Leora wouldn't mind the cloak of resistance, but her saves (except reflex) are pretty good, and I know that is something that pretty much anyone would put to good use. Lydia and Lucius didn't take anything, and just based on pure numbers, it looks like Lydia has the lowest saves.

Like Jessi said, we have nearly 1400gp even before appraising the leftover stuff.

Leora will contribute to alchemy labs or tuition if anyone needs extra gold.

Raven figurines of wondrous power
We have six, so I was thinking something like this, though it is easy to change it up since we can easily move them around or leave them somewhere else. It also depends if we split up into 2-3 smaller groups like we are now.

1. at Laria's, maybe leave it with Rexus if he is planning on sticking around, then we can easily stay in communication with him, Laria, and Sabrina if something happens while we are out and about
2. at Davina's place if several folks are staying there
3. at Kiri's place if several folks are staying there
4. Songbird Hall if Lydia chooses to stay there and not at 1-3
5. Kept with the party when we go out adventuring so anybody can contact us if we need to get in touch (or we could bring raven #2,3, or 4)
6. With Jessi's family so she can communicate secretly with them?

Keep in mind with the raven they seek out a location, not a person, and so you only need to have one with you if you want to send a message. You can't receive a message unless you're in a place someone expects you to be.

Taking Care of Some Business....

Leora: add one suit of red & black studded leather armor back into inventory; the armor Jessi has is the boon item from her Child of Kintargo trait--mwk studded leather.

Jessi will warn people ahead of time that she's only guessing at the appraisals.

Appraise earrings: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Appraise silver buttons: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

Spellcraft on Cloak: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

How about we take a game day or two to sell spare equipment and treasure and allow people to run any errands or try to blow up Davina's house craft alchemical stuff and munitions?

I've heard a couple of folks say they'd be OK with Jessi taking more than her share of treasure this time (she needs 350 gp to get a loan from her family) to pay for her Kintargo Opera Society dues and fees and no one saying an outright "No," so I'd like to get that out of the way. Lydia: Is joining the Society something you'd be interested in as well?

I'm in agreement with Leora's assessment of where to take the silver raven figurines (including one at Songbird Hall even if Lydia doesn't choose to stay there--we're gonna have to try to ally with the Shelynites at some point, I'm thinking).

The earrings are worth between 5 and 15 gp, the nine silver buttons are worth 5 gp each, and the cloak is a +1 cloak of resistance. I think you determined that one already, though.

Cash money Alright, I updated the loot sheet again based on selling everything. We have 243.75 gp in the party coffer after selling the earrings and silver buttons. Everyone in the party got 200gp as we discussed previously, though I realize now I didn't explicitly say that before.

Option 1 for Jessi's tuition: It sounds like Davina, Leora, and maybe Dom(?) would contribute to that. Would Jess, Davina, and Dom be okay with splitting the bill 4 ways (paying in 88gp each)?

Option 2 for Jessi's tuition: We could also just give Jessi the 240gp left over in the party fund and she could pay the remaining 110 gp herself.

Silver Raven Figurines I also added a tab to the spreadsheet for the silver raven figurines and their locations. I'll RP this in a minute, but after meeting with Rexus for the evening, Kiri, Davina, and Lydia each have one to take home to keep at the places they are staying.

I was re-reading and just realized I hadn't responded. I say give Jess the 240 left over. I think this would be a good use of the funds. We might be able to use them as one of our teams in the future.

I appreciate the generosity you folks and your characters have shown. My plan is to have Jessibel head to the new Kintargo Opera Society HQ the day after we finish cleaning out the Wasp's Nest (or whatever Laria calls it). We can finalize her tuition situation then. Who knows? Maybe we'll find more treasure under the coffeehouse and Jessi will be able to pay her own way.

I'm gething the the vibe they were scared of the corby and maybe glad she's dead. We don't know why yet. They seem pretty scared of us too. Since this area is part of a smuggling network they might be the "goods" Nat was smuggling.

I don't know see why a dire corby and a bunch of tengu's would be hanging out with a smuggler. The corby doesn't fit with the smuggler, and the tengu's don't fit with the corby, but the smuggler and the tengu's could be working together.

@Leora The tengu are speaking common in the main post, and then tengu when it's in a spoiler for me because of comprehend languages. That's the way I'm interpreting it. I'd tell everyone what they say, but I'm trying to learn stuff while they might not know I understand them.

In response to their questions about what we want in exchange for our help. Here are my thoughts, and this will sound a little godfatherish.

I don't want to take the stuff they were going to use as bribes. They can sell it to us, assuming we an afford it, or sell it to keep themselves fed and housed until they can get on their feet.

What I would like in exchange for our helping them get their start in Kintargo is for them to feed us information, and maybe do work for us when we need it. Thus a little bit godfatherish, and maybe just maybe the beginning of a spy network.

That's why I was talking the store owner up, and offering to do detect magic and appraisals for first chance at the magic stuff. I hoped if he agreed to that, and we have a relationship, then he heard interesting rumors or information he'd pass it on. There might have been idea's of discounts in there as well.

What are the groups thoughts on taking their stuff? What do you think about "recruiting' them?

Once we finish cleaning out the Wasps nest we do have a HQ.

Go for it, Davina. Jessibel's harboring similar (though probably naïve) thoughts of trying to recruit the Red Jills gang against Thrune's tyranny. Her charmed 'friend' Sebbe probably won't hold Jessi's use of enchantment magic against her, especially since the bard didn't try to attack while Sebbe's guard was down...right? :)

Jessi will be trying to build bridges and relationships as well in the near future, especially once she joins the Kintargo Opera House Society.

EDIT: And to better answer your question, Jessi's fine with not taking their things. Makes sense not to tick off or weaken potential allies.

Helping the tengu out, not taking their stuff, and becoming allies is fine by me. I agree, befriending them is a good idea.

Kiri, the gm explained earlier that the tengus dead smuggler was named Nan. We are looking for Laria's friend Nat. So we didn't find the right guy yet.

If you want to try to recruit them, you'll need to get them to at least Friendly.

Ah, I'm sorry. I saw Wasn't none of us as killed Nan (Not Nat) and thinking we had two NPCs with similar names, but it was just the GM correcting us PCs failing at NPC names. Then I go and confuse it even more!

So Leora's check did indeed bring them to friendly, and you are free to recruit them as a team for your rebellion. We'll go more into that in the future. Details about how the rebellion works are in the player's guide, and we'll be discussing them more soon.

In the meantime, though, the defeat of the alligator and the dire corby, discovering the fate of Nan, and winning the friendship of the Fushi sisters, have earned you all enough XP to reach level 2!

So, as you may be aware, Ultimate Intrigue was recently released. I haven't purchased the book yet but it looks amazing, and most of the options in it have been added to D20PFSRD.com. If you want to take advantage of any of the options therein, you can do so. If there's an option that would have suited your character when you created it, had it been released yet, you can rebuild your character. In fact, you can rebuild your characters anyway -- if anything about your build is bugging you, you can change it now.

HP is average rounded up (d6 = 4, d8 = 5, d10 = 6, d12 = 7), or rolled if you prefer, but you'll need to stick with one for the remainder of your character.

I did make some changes to Davina before I leveled. I sent the hero lab file to the GM. Except I didn't round up my hp on the file I sent.

I took a level of swashbuckler inspired blade archtype. *waves rapier around wildly*. Eventually this should help with my damage output.

I now have a level of disable device. I just need to go shopping for "watchmaking" tools or borrow Dom's when we need them until I get a chance to get some.
