Doodle took the light disk. I can hold onto the dark one.
Once they are ready to enter the central room, Meredith casts Barkskin and Bull's Strength
on herself, hefting her shield with her other hand.

As they get ready to enter the large room, Doodle casts Mirror Image on herself.

Suddenly there were five Doodle's ready to enter the room.

Two things happen as Meredith picks up the dark disk.
First, the dark disk is way to heavy for her to pick up.

"Umm guys? Is anyone else seeing this? Some cyclops thing and a serpent seem to be fighting."
Meredith Une

"Wh-what? Where?" Meredith looks in the direction Amelie is looking in. "We should help the cyclops fight the serpent, right?"

Who has the second disk?
As you enter the last room you can see the following:
The walls of this large, vaulted room are carved with stylized astronomical symbols. The south wall contains a pair of immense doors made of stone. Smaller doors on the east wall have been battered inward. The north wall contains four large panels, each eight feet above the ground with a central gap about seven inches wide and an inch deep. Above the four panels are blocky letters, and below them, mosaics featuring sway-backed cyclopes. The chamber’s floor displays a stylized depiction of Golarion and its moon traveling around the sun.
Here is the Azlanti monolith, relentlessly pounding on a door made of magically reinforced stone—and slowly cracking it, despite its nchanted qualities. The monolith is degraded, bearing signs of wear across its body, but these signs hardly detract from its imposing presence and obvious power.

Who has the second disk?
You mentioned it was too heavy for me to pick up, I think I'm the strongest person in the party.
Meredith stares at the monolith. "Either the stone or the monolith are about to give way- and we're going to see what's behind that wall in full detail. Everyone get ready." She raises her shield.

I thought I was carrying the light disc and someone else was carrying the dark one? Or are we talking about something else?

You have the light disc, Doodle.

Does anything happen with the light disk while everything crazy is going on around me?
Doodle pulls out the light disk and sees if there is any reaction.

With a final blow, the enormous iron golem smashes through the stone doors. Framed in the doorway is a gargantuan black-and-red serpent with three tails and six eyes. A gloating telepathic cry exudes from the creature, “Foolish, mindless machine! Now you are the prisoner, and I am finally free!” With a dazzling flash, the two creatures change places: the golem in the smaller room and the serpentine fiend outside of it. As the serpent begins to uncoil, the golem lunges forward and
grasps the fiend by its head. The two titans are in a temporary stalemate; the golem cannot release its hold or
the fiend will escape, and the fiend cannot break the golem’s grip. You can also see two more disks in the room that the fiend just left.
How do you think you can prevent the Xacarba to escape?
Meredith Une
|
"That's a good idea. Doodle and Amelie have two. I'll try to grab one. Stormy, grab the other." Meredith holds her shield high and prepares to do something stupid.
Meredith Une

Bart and Amelie drank from the well.
Only Amelie is proficient with the flail, so I guess she took it?
Meredith Une
|
"Urgh!" Meredith drops her shield as the serpent wraps its tail around her. "This is bad...even my training isn't gonna help against something like this! Grab the other stones, quick!"

The five images of Doodle follow Meredtih's lead and make a run for the furthest disk.
As I have four images up, it only has a 20% chance of getting the real me. Let's do it!
Stormy Weathers
|
You can only pick up one? So if you are going in you should not carry the light disk. Maybe hand it to Meredith? I am confused about the mechanic of moving past the snake. You cannot run through an enemy's square. You can tumble though. Is he large enough that we can simply move through? If so Stormy will go through too.
Hoping that the snake is distracted while grappling Stormy dashes through to pick up a disc.

Amelie tries to rush past the snake creature following after Doodle.
Amelie did drink from the well, she has the flail stowed in her pack. She also has the other disk we picked up.

Arletta Tolkir rushes in. Almost panicked she casts a spell and speaks up.
"The mosaics here depict the binding chamber in use. See, in the first mosaic, the large doors are ajar and three snake-like tails are slithering free. In the second, four cyclopes each place small stone discs into the panels. In the last mosaic, beams from the panels push back the serpentine tails. These mosaics suggest that the panels can re-imprison the xacarba even if the Azlanti monolith breaches the door.
Meredith Une
|
"Great! Start putting those discs in the panels, quickly!" Meredith coughs as the cobra tightens its grip around her. "Don't worry about me, just seal this damn thing!"
Doodlevain "Doodle" Montafescue

If Doodle sees a slot in a panel, she will shove her disk in there and try to grab another of the disks in the room she is now in.
Amelie Tucker
|
Amelie follows Doodle's lead, first putting the disc she's carrying into one of the slots, and then trying doing the same with the other disc in the room. "Let's hope this works, I'm not thinking we want to fight this thing ourselves!"
