Harrow's MW tool is legal.
The previous Organized Play Coordinator, Michael Brock, ruled that any skill is allowed to receive the +2 bonus per the Core Rulebook. He posted this in consultation with then-Paizo-developer Sean K. Reynolds.
Since I've been GMing for Harrow for a while, if he doesn't pick a description for his masterwork tool soon, I'm going to rule that he has a phreaky, blinged-out grill. :-)

I know I was just recently gone, but I'll also be completely offline on a camping trip Thursday through Saturday. It's been a busy June!

Avril is a 4th level summoner so 7 is the correct number of evolution points. Sorry for the confusion... I'll fix the sheet right away.

@Berosius: Isn't it extremely risky to start another life link when you are only at 22 HP? Another 18 damage from the dinosaur and 10 from the two life links would put you to -6 :S.

I found a great picture that represents Husarq almost, well, perfectly.

I'm surprised Husarq wasn't able to finish off the enemy. 28 damage is a lot even if 19 wasn't enough to confirm the crit.

I'm going to start some serious healing in a moment.

200 damage already this encouter! This is hard. I shouldn't have joked about that exploding glass zombie encounter I had. This tops that easily. We sure chose the wrong targets... I like the challenge :).

I'm sailing out to Catalina Island. Will be completely out of Internet and mobile phone range/servce for the next five days. Have a good 4th of July if you reside in the US. I'll see you all on Thursday, July 7. 'Bot Mareq and Husarq, as necessary.

Coordinating stuff is much harder online than around a table... If we were in person Berosius probably would have been able to say he was planning to heal this turn before Uthred ran away.
Avril Axiel
|
Sure, but this way he doesn't get to attack since he already used his action this turn to run away.

Not to be too much of a rules lawyer, but... Haste does not counter the Staggered condition. It only counters slow. It DOES provide bonuses, but the extra attack can only be performed when the recipient is able to make a full attack action.

Right, I totally forgot that Husarq was staggered since the mist had dissapeared earlier... Though it did say that you are only staggered if you begin your round in the fog and since the fog was already dead by the time he acted, he could have not had to deal with the condition. I could see ruling either way on that issue, but I'm not the GM so the point is moot.

Oh, hey, good catch. I didn't notice that the mist had dissipated by the time his action came around.

@Berosius: I thought you regained those five from your channeling?
By your reasoning a character would pretty much never use any potions they find instead of the wands. That's directly opposite of what the game mechanics encourages you to do...
Avril Axiel

Mechanically I'm pretty sure Uthred would be best at using the sword. Harrow and Husarq already got decent magical weapons to take advantage of their fighting styles. For Harrow while Keen certainly isn't as good as ghost touched against incorporeal enemies, it's a lot better to have one character having a keen weapon and another with ghost touched rather than one with ghost touched and the other with simply +1. Husarq isn't proficient, so would suffer -4 to hit and the longsword also does 1.5 less average damage per hit. Avril and Uthred could both use the sword a lot better than their current weapons, however for Avril she'll probably spend at least some of the time casting haste and the like and for corporeal enemies she'll still use her standard weapons. For Uthred the longsword is actually better than his Sawtooth Saber even against corporal enemies. He also has an extra attack compared to Avril (though that's partially negated by the fact that Avril does double damage on a charge).

Did he tell us the sword was his? We can't understand him after all...
If Avril didn't know, or forgot, it still makes sense for Avril to say what she did.

The Venture-Captain told you during the briefing. She described his sword.

No worries...you are one of the most consistent DMs on the boards. Always glad to run in your adventures!

how close are we to the end? I wanted to use Uthred for one of the Game Day games starting on the 27th.

The flatfooted rules in pathfinder are weird. You are only flatfooted if you haven't taken your turn or against invisibile enemies, but not against enemies that you didn't know about when you had your last turn. I guess it makes sorta sense in that you are ready for anything to happen since you are already in combat, but it's still weird that it's such a huge difference surprising someone midcombat or at the start.

I quite like the RP with Ammon. Great idea :).
Are you going to run any game day scenario mr. Angelic? I wouldn't mind playing that with you all. Though I guess Uthred is already spoken for.
If I've rubbed people the wrong way and you would rather game without me, I understand. Know at least I meant no harm with my actions/comments/suggestions. I just like to try to help out...
Oh and Ammon, when you post links (like the one to the picture above), could you please use some shorter text for the link text. It makes the page appear all wonky on mobile.

Real life does always take precedence, GME, but you're one of my favorite GMs, so keep us in mind when you get the GMing bug again!

I'm volunteering at another convention this weekend. I leave today for TempleCon in Providence, RI.
If you all don't mind a slightly uneven pace, when I get back from TempleCon, I'd be happy to run scenario #7–27: Beyond Azlant Ridge.
It's levels 3-7, so I think everyone would be in tier.

Works for me...and I love this group so much. The cast is fantastic, and you're Harrow's favorite DM, BY FAR! (also his only DM, but still).
I don't mind an uneven pace, or even taking a month off for your travels. Thanks for running it! :)

I'm happy to join if you would still have me.
I'm not sure what the requirements for gameday are. Could we start at 27th but not actually get going until you come back?
