About Avril Axiel

Background:
Avril Axiel did not have a happy childhood. She was always the smallest of the kids her age and constantly picked on. This lead to her avoiding other kids and instead finding solace in company with animals. Her seclusion would only lead to her situation going from bad to worse. There are people in Cheliax who capture and use kids who are all alone. Avril was taken by a half-crazed summoner who wanted more fuel and help with his rites to summon devils and other otherworldly beings. Somehow, she managed to charm the middle-aged guy and keep herself from being sacrificed. However, she did observe others who were not as fortunate. The summoner eventually got so comfortable around her that she was allowed a bit more freedom. She took the opportunity to escape.

Once alone Avril figured she had to get away or something similar might happen. Learning more of how to fight would make it much easier for her to stay free. Word of the Pathfinder Society came to her ear and she figured that would both be a great place to stay away from Cheliax as well as a place to learn better how to fight. Maybe she could learn more of people like the summoner as well.

Avril is extremely short for a human, though given her stature she quite muscular. She got long brown hair often tied up in a tight ponytail and brown eyes.

Personality:

Avril finds more comfort from being with animals than humans. Her bad experiences with people have tainted her view. This leads her to being somewhat distrustful of other people. Despite the perversions of human sacrifice, she found the arts the summoner was practicing very interesting. She would very much like to learn more of what kind of magic there is out in the world.
