Andrea smiles and holds Fiosa's hand. It's good that Areal has good dependable like you two.

Taking out her prayer book, Andrea looks to Fiosa. Since we have some time, How about we talk some about miracles? Areal told me that you know a few, so it would be prudent that I help with furthering your skill.

Orsin releases a loud noise, something between a growl and a moan as he checks for his coin purse, cursing himself for forgetting which part of town he's in.

Honestly, I had a feeling that's what you were after with those Perception checks, but didn't wanna metagame. So how much am I missing?

Andrea nods and holds out her hand. A few murmured words and a small ball of light forms in her palm. Orisons are what miracles such as light and reading documents are called in the various churches. Well, near everywhere. One can also learn how to detect the presence of poison in food and to help keep someone from dying from their wounds. Plus creating water and giving one a little 'nudge' as it were to help them achieve something.

Andrea lets the light fade. The more advanced miracles, such as healing depend on skill of course, all the wya to raisng the dead. I still have much to learn, but can achieve things like healing light wounds, enchanting weapons and protecting the mind from mental control. PLus there is channeling, which is a much larger catagory.

"Tieflings like to operate in the darkness, they ahve an advantage then. We should hit them around 9:00 in morning...the sun will be up, maybe they're asleep. Of course, there is good chance they are either gone or on a heightend watch."

I had four 50 gp pouches. Two I have to the gate guard and the wench has since taken another.

Ignoring Janiven's question, Orsin curses and races downstairs to find the thieving wench.

Perception to notice the battle outside: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

So all targets are fleeing? Can Duncan see into the Darkness? A regular darkness spell merely lowers the natural light. It's daylight now so Duncan should see no problem, even Shinon since he has low light vision

So Janiven, just how will we be handling The Bastards? Areal said they were involved witht he deaths of the smith and his wife, but we don't know if they had anything to do with the other people like Stoutpour. Will we be trying for capuring them?

Orsin, you don't see the bar wench or the half orc she fell into. There are three other half-orcs a thte table, and the bar looks about the same. Unless you polk your head out you don't see much of anything there.

If the shadows in the alley from the adjacent buildings originally reduced it to dim light, then it would be total darkness, though.

Dude, read the Darkness spell description. It's daytime. It's normal light to dimlight, you can see them. If building shadows go dim to dark, Duncan sees fine

The spell reduces the light by one degree, it is day light out but the alley has shadow and is tight, so it began as dim. Duncan's darvision has no problem but it does effect Shinon's low-light. You need to actually to move into a better positon to see back down the alley, right now you are at a angle to the alley.

You move back into light of sight and shoot but there are crates and boxes blocking the view. There are two bodes laying in alley.

Shinon nods and rushes back into the inn, bumping into Orsino. "Hey! Where is everyone? The tieflings found us, they're outside and Duncan's really outnumbered right now! Grab Andrea, John and Janiven and come help us!"

I assume that's my turn for the round, probably involved a double move action. Next round I will definitely move back outside.

Shinon to your utter surprise you see a tavern full of patrons staring at you after you speak.

There is huge crack on the bar by the sound of club whacking it. Stumpy has glare on his face. "NO TROUBLE IN HERE!

Shinon and Orsin can make perception checks.

The two half orcs have pushed you back into up agianst a wall.

The third on draws his falchion and yells "HE SAID NO TROUBLE"

Sorry folks, the half-orcs act before Shinon can react to his GREAT Surprise. Orsin there's the third half-orc already there with his falchion raised. Don't bother rolling an AoO Shinon, they have improved unarmed and improved bull rush. Orsin, you have one if you wish to take it.

The two half-orcs with their nasty rotten meat smelling breath roar at you. "OUT." As he they orc-handle you and shove you out of inn.

The one with the falchion turns to Orsin, but Stumpy interrupts, "Go git ye friends and move on."

It is becoming painfully obvious that you don't have much daylight left, perhaps an hour.

Shinon groans as they shove him outside. Glancing behind him, he grins a bit. "Oh man, Andrea's not going to like this. Remember, this was your fault!" he calls to Duncan, before moving up and drawing his bow. "Where's the enemy?"

Move action to move into a position where I can see the alleys clearly. Standard action to take the Total Defense action, granting me a +6 dodge bonus to my Armor Class for 1 round.
