Having dropped the goblin in the bush and seeing many foes arrayed against them, yet a mere 20ft gap between John and the wall (N1) Duncan barks an order, Orsin, Ermolos form a line between John and the wall, It nullifies their number and protects the archers.
He points with his arm as he speaks indicating a line.
If they occupy L1 and m1 the goblins cannot get around to attack the archers or flank

Maurice draws the string of his finely shaped composite longbow and lets the arrow fly towards a goblin in the rear of the group. Hex L12

But the arrow flight catches some on the dried tree brances and the flight is interrupted, falling short. He shakes his head and steps forward five feet. Moves to Hex L-2

Orsin moves with practiced steps, passing swiftly behind (well, through, technically) Ermolos and Duncan. Clutching his blade in both hands he attacks the kneeling, wounded goblin in front of him. A brief shimmer of light passes through his longsword as he attempts to bisect the goblin from crotch to crown.
Orsin moves to M1, activates Arcane Strike as a swift action and makes a Power Attack against the wounded goblin in M2. He continues to maintain his bardic performance as a free action (I'm now down to 10 rounds).

Shinon can take his action when he gets on.
The troblin standing near John is hideously deformed with numberous lumps and third arm outgrowth. He uses his great club with two of his three arms and tries to slash the armored turtle with his ohter hand while biting feriously at his flesh.

Here is a MID ROUND 1 MAP UPDATE for everyone.
Three goblins riding their dogs have swept to the party's right. A second troblin moved up into hex J2, this one has two heads. Then a stronger lookinking bigger moved up into hex K 2.

Orsin had the sense to follow sound tactics and already filled the breach in M1, Duncan, charges to K1 and overhand chops the creature in K2, Hopefully Ermolos about to fill the gap.
Leaving only 1 goblin at thier backs engaged with Maurice.

Rd 1 Recap:
Shinon - missed and my have fumbled his bosw.
Maurice - arrow was interferred wiht by a stry branch and he missed. He was bit by a goblin dog and hit with an arrow. 13 HP damage
Troblins one clubbed John in the head for 9 HP of damage. Others moved into position.
Adv. Goblins moved into poisiton and barked orders.
Goblin dogs and riders swept to the right fo the party. One bite
Maurice and the rider shot maurice with an arrow.
Orsin stepped up to help Maurice but his attack was rushed and he missed.
Duncan stepped up next to John but missed his attack against the well equiped goblin in front of him.
John swung his Msw Longsword wildly and my have fumbled it. 8 HP damage.
Ermolos journeyed into the thorny branch to give add to Duncan's flank but was distracted with his greataxe swing.

Goblin one goblin attempted to attack Orsin with no luck, the goblin rasied from the dead tried to stab Duncan in his jewels to no avail. He stood up provoking AOO from Duncan, John and Ermolos. A couple other goblins moved up closer to the battle line.
