In the sarcophagus room he calls, I got a spell what lets me search stuff witout touching it.
He aids in leading the group back to the Sarcophagus room and, standing as far back as the room and spell allows, (30ft) casts SIFT to examine the coffins at range as if touching them.
Check PFSRD. Sift allows a thorough examination at range which includes touch. DM call if that can trigger at range. Same as 10 foot pole really.

Grimm follows up his sift spell with a casting of DETECT MAGIC and scans each coffin for 3 rounds.


Evil GM

Regarding Sift you can exam at range what you can see or touch, so you would be able to exam the exterior of the coffins. You don't see any traps, nor did you detect any magic.

However, the inside is still a mystery. It doesn't tell if there is any creature in the coffin either. That being said Truk pushed the lid off one of the coffins. cool spell for the trapfinder, Lucrezia to have.

Grimm doesn't notice either coffin being trapped. Truk muscles one lid away and the tattooed map is in the coffin, reformed, with his gear on him. His eyes pop open with the sudden distance.

Fluer remains in the outside hall as a rear guard.

Grimm, Orsin, John,and andrea are still have visually awareness so I will let them act in the surprise round.

When they get to the coffins John will have his sword out to cut off the heads and will use it to attack he vampire if Andrea doesn't kill it first.

Your right the vampire is helpless for the first hour then the fast heal kicks in. So that being said, his eyes do not open and you all manage to chop off the heads, sprinkle your holy water and stake their hearts.

Grimm is not gentle, he roughly pulls the decapitated and staked bodies (if they didn't turn to ash or something) out of the sarcophagi and inspects them and pats down the bodies for gold or weapons.

Truk's going to keep the ring +2. He's consistently taken more damage than Grimm or John. I'd say he needs it.

We can either head for the hidden room upstairs where we rested previously, or if is daylight, we can make our way out of Delvehaven.

Doublecheck those steps though, I don't want us forgetting everything when we got what we came for.

It's daylight the group can easily make it back to the safe house. The whole sequence downstairs did not take that long. There was little, if any, lull between encounters.

Andrea will send Ziz off so he can inform the other CoW so they can meet the group with a wagon and cart the blinded members back without drawing undue attention.

Once back in, Andrea finds Areal. Lucrezia,Faelyn, and Truk have been blinded by the light of this.. Andrea sets the Morrowfall on the table so everyone can see it.

We have recovered the Morrowfall, what this is capable of we don't know. It used beams of sunlight against anyone who got close to is, not surprising since it seems Ilnerik sent vampires to try to get it. We also talked to the spirit of Bisby who spoke more about what had been happening in Delvehaven.

The group struggles but finds their way to the safehouse. Areal, Janiven and Ailyn is not there when you arrive.

A startled gasp can be heard by all but Orsin when you arrive. Three members of the brotherhood are blind and one is deaf. Amaya begins to fuss over you getting warm compress and bandages. "At least your back."

"It was splendid dash, or in my case carry, through the old house. Tested their mettle and took a few well deserved lumps to harden their resolve." A rumbling cackle, "A reminder of their mortality."

When the expected assistance comes the dwarf rapidly changes tack, sweeping the woman off her feet and into his lap as the sits on the chair, and cops a good feel, Ha! Got all 3 a me legs workin now girl! Ferget that lot and come rub ole Grimm's ache's fer im. Even though ye some hard fought coin if ye do a good job.

He braces as the trainee monk unleashes a quick flurry of blows and makes her escape like one who was very good at rejecting unwanted advan es.

Amaya frowns when she is swept off her feet and quickly slaps him three times across the face, two quick lefts and a bit firmer right. "Dirty ole dwarf, Gruum's warned us about you"
