Vethran Tallomane
Made the Spellcraft, failed the Listen.
Seeing the goblin cleric move forward, Vethran aims carefully and looses a furious burning meteor from his outstretched hand at the wretched thing.
Casting kelgore's fire bolt at Squat. Ranged touch: 11 + 3 + 1 = 15. Squat takes 20 damage (Reflex DC 15 for half) if that hits his touch AC.

Reposting initiative:
Vethran: 20
Squat: 19
Manic: 18++
Ripnugget: 18+
Davos:18-
Larken: 17
Elisile: 15
L'oj: 12
Dravite: 10
Alwyn: 10
Illes: 9+
Ripnugget's dog: 9-
Hudak: 8
Goblin mooks: 8
Weasly: 4
Boss goblins, then Davos (don't forget your AoO!). Don't forget that that the goblins get a -2 on their saves and attack rolls if they are shaken.
Elisile Starbrow
spellcraft: 17+11 = 28.
Listen: 5+6 = 11.
Its strange the things one notices in the din of battle – like what spell an enemy on the other side of the room is casting. “Abjuration, shield,” Elisile hisses through clenched teeth, over the top of Manic to Alwyn, indicating Ripnugget and his cleric with a quick nod of her head.

I thought he was flipping me off goblin language.

Aubrey probably meant I9.
The pillar on my map is at I9 - I probably misdescribed the original set-up. The pillars on my map are at F6, I6, F9 and I9. Sorry for any confusion.
The cleric howls in pain as Vethran's bolt sears his arm, shoulder and face. He takes out a wand and mutters the activation phrase, and his wounds heal up a modicum.
Meanwhile, the raving warrior hacks at Alwyn with his axe and batters him with his shield. 8 points from the axe and 5 from the shield bash. I think that is Alwyn down for the count.
Meanwhile, Ripnugget evades Hudak's defenses and lands a heavy blow, almost bringing the proud Shoanti to his knees next to his brother. 18 (ouch!) points of damage.
Now Davos.
Dravite Schorl
As per my earlier worry about the invisible Weasly - Gurney has scent, and can smell the ratty little booger as he's sneaking around. How does that work - does an invisible opponent get concealment when attacked by a sharp-nosed animal?
The animal knows what square the target is in but still suffers a %50 miss chance when attacking that target.
Alwyn Agnarrson
Next round I will dole out some healing. Let me know who needs it most.
The go-to guy is probably Hudak. If Illes can get me out of the negatives, I can cast a bunch of spells. However, Hudak needs all the hit points he can get as he goes toe-to-toe with Ripnugget.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Davos takes a gamble, and tries to evade the attacking goblin and semi-canine to get to Hudak and heal him. He almost makes it - the goblin swipes but misses, but the dog nips him, hard, as hepushes past Lo'j. Then, he abandons the formal parayer of might he had prepared in favour of channeling raw, magical healing from Sarenrae. 7 points of damage. Davos moves to J12, sacrifices Bull's Strength for Cure Moderate Wounds on Hudak - cures 13hp.
Now Larken.
Larken
Larken glances at Illes, then at Elisile, still pinned and threatened by potentially two goblins, and looking at least as hurt as he was. With his life's blood bubbling out from his hideous wound, he gives a tight shake of his head and thrusts at the raving monster's unprotected side, hoping to finish it and clear the way for the warriors to move to Elisile's defense.
[ooc]attack on Manic
attack: 18r +5 +1(bardic) = 24 possible crit
confirm: 15r +5 +1(bardic) = 21
damage: 3r +2 +1(bardic) = 6
crit damage(if applicable): 5r +2 +1(bardic) = 8
total damage: 14
Elisile Starbrow
If Larken takes down Manic:
Attack:16+5+1 = 22
Damage: 6+1+1 = 8
If that takes it down, 5 ft step to L10
If Larken doesn’t take down Manic, same attack as above but aimed at Manic instead.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Larken skewers the lunatic goblin through the chest, and into its little black heart. It grins, its eyes roll up into its head and it pitches forward, stone dead. Elisile's thrust despatches one of its followers, and she moves up next to a new enemy. Manic and the mook in L10 killed (Manic is at -12 - nice critical at a handy time). Elisile is in L10.

I know, he's been gradually posting less and less, and hasn't seemed very engaged in the game. I'll DMPC him for the moment.
Lo'j and Gurney both attack the goblin dog. Gurney's jaws clash on empty air, and Lo'j is only able t give it a light flesh wound on its scabby flank. 2 points of damage.
Now Dravite.
Dravite Schorl
Dravite steps forward to straddle Alwyn's fallen form protectively and swings at the goblin before him viciously. 1d20 7=24 to hit, 1d12 4=8 damage against the gobbo in K10.
"Ye bastards will be fer payin' fer harmin' me friend!"
Alwyn Agnarrson
If I may... As Ithers is gone for a week and a half, I'll run Illes until he returns. The goblin in K10 is history, so here we go:
Illes cautiously steps around the scrum of bodies surrounding the now-fallen Manic. Finding an opening, he pokes the prone Shoanti priest with his healing wand.
Illes moves to L11 and uses his wand of cure light wounds on Alwyn, who recovers 5 hit points
As Illes' healing spark strikes him, Alwyn's eyes slowly pop back open. Peering around, he spots the goblin chieftain through a red haze of pain; groaning with effort, he casts a spell at him...
I cast Hold person defensively on Ripnugget. Concentration check 11+8=19; Ripnugget needs to make a Will 14 save, with a -2 modifier from the harpy musk. As I cannot occupy the same square as Dravite, I then crawl to K12. I'm still prone, and at 1 hit point. Ouch... Also, my new initiative is 9.
With a buzzing sound, the eldrich sword flies across the room and buries itself in the chest of a goblin. It the disappears, leaving behind a smoking hole in its torso.
Finally, the spiritual weapon strikes the goblin in I10. Attack roll 14+4=AC 18, damage 7+1=8. The spell then runs out.

Dude, he hasn't even left the building yet! ;-)
Lo'j
I know, he's been gradually posting less and less, and hasn't seemed very engaged in the game. I'll DMPC him for the moment.
Apologies all, the 5 person technical support team I am a part of suddenly became a 4 person one, which lead to all of us working double duty as we tried to do our own too much work, and cover for the missing body. Add to that quarterly review beatings, and having to add another certification to my list, and things were massively out of control. If things continue to be this out of control, I will have to give Lo'j up, which makes me much sad.
On the plus side, his concept isn't that social, so not interacting for a while isn'[t out of character (like the Lt. from Aliens who was eating away from the grunts). And I realy did think we were walking into a trap and having our avenue of retreat cut off...
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
The goblin warrior swings at Gurney, but Lo'j's faithful companion dodges aside.
Suddenly, Hudak feels an agonising strike to his side. Reappearing beside him, the weasley-looking goblin clutches a bloodied dogslicer and grins in gap-toothed victory. Weasly is now in I11, and Hudak takes 9 points of damage.
Now Vethran.
Gurney
Cool - glad to hear this is not permanent. If work is tricky in the medium term, we can "retire" Lo'j temporarily and bring him back in when you are more able to be regular (so to speak) at an appropriate level and gear. If necessary, I'll DMPC him for the moment - let me know.
The main problem is when I work on computers all day and the world goes to crap, last thing I want to do when I get home is link in.
Vethran Tallomane
Vethran extends his fingers and intones a single word of power, causing a torrent of flame to explode around Ripnugget and his clerical aide.
Fiery Burst centered at J-K/9-10. It only hits those 4 squares (J 9-10 and K 9-10). Anything in those squares takes 9 points of fire damage (Reflex DC 15 for half).
Alwyn Agnarrson
Are the I10 and K10 goblins still operational?
Most probably not - only one goblin mook attacked, and Weasly would have one much more damage if he had been able to flank Hudak. We're almost there - there's only a couple of them left!
Also, I'm impressed/terrified by Vethran's mastery of all things explosive. Good thing he's on our side.

Well, actually, he attacked from invisibility, so if he had Sneak Attack, he would've been dealing it whether he was flanking or not, so I don't think your damage appraisal is accurate. He may have rolled crappy or doesn't have as many SA dice as we think he does.
Davos Quaith
Davos chants a spell, but is distracted by the goblins and looses his concentration.
Concentration Check (1d20+7=14)
Sorry, I kind of lost track as to were everybody was. If I'm not in a threatened square then I don't need to make the check. Your call.
