True. I was more clarifying after the fact that a few of the players (you know who you are) had read the details of the quasit in the MM and were planning what items to buy off the back of that, which was beyond what I had intended when giving the page reference. I'm sure they all know what a quasit is - but unless they use quasits a lot, it is difficult to recall specifics beyond generic demon-y stuff, such as weaknesses and abilities (I know I didn't know). Rather than have them go back and pretend they didn't know, after posting details on the thread, I decided that they could run with the info they have but not get anymore. So this is more about this instance. I will learn not to trust those conniving little buggers called "players".
Oh, a potion of See Invisibility is 300gp, and a scroll is 150gp.
Sorry about that Aubrey. Normally I wouldnt have much idea of monster's exact capabilities, only I have recently DMd encounters with quasits in two different games, so I had a pretty good idea about this one. I was also unsure if you were giving us MM page references for pics or stats (I use the SRD here at work), so I decided to err on the side of caution by posting in a spoiler. Sorry for the meta-gaming.

Oh, just a heads-up....it's Thanksgiving on Thursday stateside; forgive my ignorance of English and Australian and Greek holiday observances. I'll be around a little, albeit in a turkey-gorged torpor, but others of my Yank brothers may or may not be on the road, going to see family and such.

Thanks for letting us know. Happy Thanksgiving!

Regarding marching order, it probably makes sense to have Dravite (hard hitter and tracker) and Larken (doors and traps man) at the front. Elisile can provide support in both tracking and searching, so can either be near the front to assist, or will take rear guard.
Elisile needs both hands for her bow, so she will not carry a second torch. I suggest that Vethran or Illes might be good candidates for torch-bearers.

Guys, many apologies for the lack of posts, but I keep forgetting to bring the scenario to work with me (plus I'm unusually busy). I won't be posting today or tonight, so I'll get something up for tomorrow at home.
NO!!! NO Slack!!! YOU have to do this 24/7 or it's tit's up!
Just kidding.

Just had to sit through an amateur dramatics musical tonight (friend of the Mrs was in the chorus). I'm mentally scarred.
I went to a strip joint, but to each his own...
To be fair, it was for a bucks night. Strip clubs are not my usual Saturday eve fare.

(lol)
The U.S. college football game I wanted to watch was supposed to start at 3:30. It was put off because the game before it went into overtime. Then, with 5 minutes left in the overtime game, I got called in to do a scan at the hospital and missed the game. Aaaaargh! At least my guys won.

These look nasty ... especially given the close quarters, and even more so if they have damage reduction (I got that sense from Aubrey's description of Elisile's arrow shot - but it might just be that they have a lot of hit points...)
Is there a way for Larken to get out of there? He's not in good shape, and it might be better to have Hudak in the front line.
Also, for future reference, in our marching order, it might be best if we maintain a 5 foot gap between each person or pair - gives us a little manouvering room when the s+#! goes down in cramped quarters. For example, if there is a 5 foot gap between Dravite/Larken and the next row, Larken can take a 5 foot step out of combat and allow someone else to get in there.
