I doubt it but With buffs Darius has Heroism, not that he would have saved or that it matters much.
Nodding to Zin's declaration, he looks down into the dark cloud then sighs at his lack of sight. The familiar corona of power from his goddess bathes the Hunter as he heals himself.
" Cursed water... "
CLW: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 = 12
Judgement of Healing is on, Fast Healing 3
Would go out there but thats into darkness, with no particular swim speed, and known enemies about. Ranged options dont work either. next Round I guess Ill mutagen and see what my options are

Zin is content to stay in the coffin, away from tentacle-y death.

The eels gang up on Sledge.
3d20 ⇒ (9, 2, 3) = 14
But all miss.
Jones swims up to one, putting himself into each of the Devilfish, but it being tied up in a grapple distracts it.
It attempts to take control of the situation from Sledge with its new flanking position.
Grapple: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (15) + 20 = 35
And it succeeds!

Doesn't that fail by one because I get +2 to my CMD versus things trying to grapple me thanks to improved grapple? That's not reflected in my stat block rn.

Taking an extra attack from Blessing of Fervor.
Too bad I can't Study them. I'm definitely picking up Echolocation as soon as I can.
Jones tries to skewer the slippery eel.

Fervor: Attack rolls, reflex, and AC.
Sledge welcomes the squid to die.
Move to change my manuevers to Improved and Greater grappler.
Fervor for attack rolls and AC buffs this, right? If not, decrease bonus by 2.

Sorry. As has been said, I have been very sick. Gotten a bacterial, then fungal, then viral infection in less than two weeks' time, and then my wife got sick. Been a bad two weeks.
Samuel Sledge
Maybe if you were a real man you could swim down and grapple one?
Darius Ral'algul
Darius turns to the coffin, " Alright Zin, Amanorn is going to make sure nothing gets in there, The rest are engaging the enemy. "
With that he leaps into the water and swam out to get a better look at the situation.

Sledge swims back to the diving bell.
"I don't know if any of you noticed, but I just wrestled a squid to death."
Jones Shei'lac
Jones climbs back into the submersible with a sigh of relief.
"Yes, you did. Superbly done."
"Now, I think we should turn off the lantern. It draws too much attention to us."
Samuel Sledge
"Fish can see in the dark anyways, right? And those eels will probably warn the others. We just need to go down."
Samuel Sledge
Oh, I thought you meant disappeared as in 60-foot-swim-speed. Same diff.
Jones Shei'lac
"Hm, I suppose you're right. I just hope we won't be sitting ducks for much longer."
Samuel Sledge
We continue going down.
Sundakan
You descend in near absolute darkness, and slowly the faint light grows brighter, revealing a huge dome of shining gray metal resting at the base of the rocky island.
Its construction makes Horace Croon’s wondrous invention seem clunky and primitive. It is clearly otherworldly in nature, though whether extraplanar or extraterrestrial is unclear. Seams run up the dome’s sides to its apex, sprinkled with glowing lights that emit a dim blue radiance, which is what has been illuminating the last half of your journey.
The submersible comes to rest on the lake floor, and then raises slightly to allow you to exit.
Now, you must traverse 100 feet of open water to make it to the structure.
Jones Shei'lac
"Amazing...I must admit, I'm curious to see the inside of that contraption."
While the submersible is still descending, Jones passes an Ant Haul infusion to Sledge.
"With this, you should be able to carry Zin's coffin effortlessly."
He also prepares a Monkey Fish extract.
"This will make swimming easier. Not particularly swift, but still much faster than an average person's swimming speed. I can prepare three more today - who else wants one?"
Basically you get a 10 ft Swim speed, and can make a Run action. We'll reach the dome in 3 rounds instead of 7.
Darius Ral'algul
" You forget Jones, the spell has no effect on those who wear actual armor of any note. As long as we carry the coffin and have some ability to swim it should be fine. The light and area is eerie. The fact we have been attacked multiple times on this journey... does not bode well. "
Darius imbibes his Mutagen and steels himself for entry.
" Stopping the source of these cultists will do the world some good. "
Zin'Retatarianna Mor
"Let's just get inside, this box is starting to get really uncomfortable, in addition to being freaky as all hell." says Z lowly from inside the coffin.

Darius scratches his fur-growing chin, " I'm not sure... I'm starting to get used to it... " He says is his somewhat sarcastic tone.

I am getting REAL TIRED of this not showing up on any of my thread lists. I'm quite sure I don't have it hidden. I checked three times. This is pissing me off. Nope. It keeps auto-hiding for some damn reason.

"You didn't have to cram yourself into a box. I offered to find and scribe you a spell to transmute your form so you didn't have to deal with your little curse for a few minutes at a time. If I recall correctly, you got pissed at the idea of it, because...reasons?"
Amanorn rolls his eyes. He wasn't in a good mood. Crammed quarters, seamonsters, and a lack of things he could shoot arrows or spells at did not lend to a good mood for the elf.
And then, for reasons completely unrelated to the previous comment, Amanorn casts Resist Energy - Fire on himself.
Zin'Retatarianna Mor
"Remind me to burn you when Darius lets me out of here." Z says off handedly.

"And people say I have a one track mind. You know what? I hope there's a red dragon at the bottom of this lake, or a fire elemental, or fire giants, or a pyrokinetic master, or anything else of the sort."
And then Sundakan had Amanorn eaten by a red dragon, and his words were eaten as well, and the others rejoiced.
Darius Ral'algul
" Stop wasting breath... literally. If any such thing happened to be down here, it would make little difference save the need for me to handle more than one hothead. Cast your spells and be done with it. Zin, you know you cant burn allies... especially one whose brain may explode. "
