FYI: I can no longer Paizo from work. I'll still be able to post, and I'll make a point of checking the PbPs from home more often. But it won't be as much a "whenever I have a free moment" like it was before.

It was good until yesterday's patch/update. Now it's nearly impossible and no fun (not to mention the system lockups requiring POR).

Caladrel will take the compass. I'm good with the rest of the division of loot as well.

Trina'll pass on the pistol, hers is better; however, if no one else needs it, she might take the immovable rod.

So from Saturday, I'm going on holiday to France for a week. Not sure how much (if any) internet availability I'll have.

Thus feel free to NPC Jerry (& Luce) as required, use as many resources as you wish.

I on the other hand am back home. Not that my absence was much of a handicap to my posting. =)

So here is the issue. Google has updated their Drive system and with the new version, the

formula causes the file to be corrupted, resulting in the loss of all data. I cannot figure out how to make a map like I used to with the pretty pictures. Even copying and pasting from an old spreadsheet causes the file to become corrupted.

To heap on the disappointment, the map is now asking for permission to view it. You should be seeing a request from my email very soon.

Yeah I am not fond of all the updates Google has made. Some are good, some are... not so good, and some like this are just irritating and what.

I'm not even sure what's going on. When I came back, I wasn't even where I thought I was on the map. Last I knew, I was at N9.

I took your last turn for you. That is why you had moved. (And the reason I moved you where I did is because Thing 1 has a flanking partner for you, whereas Thing 2 only has Smitty, who is fighting with a pistol, and that won't help you.)

So I'm gonna be away at a music festival from Thursday am until Monday am, I don't believe I'll have any internet access. So feel free to NPC me and use any abilities as necessary.

FYI, Studpuffin has decided not to continue with the PbP. The format is not for everybody. I will have Rhodes opt not to join you all in your further investigations.

Maybe Rhodes could enjoy his Lordships' hospitality and protect/guard the forest, if we are going elsewhere. I'm sure there's a few good games of billiards about.

The CHA 8 tiefling may not be the most socially adept but she can churn out facts and details without any problem. =)

I've a move of 50' so might be able to make decent time (especially in that heavy bloke that sits on me goes on a diet & doesn't carry too much) and with a fast Caladriel the pair of us might be able to get their in a day or so....

That would be an interesting race, but I think Luce will win. I figured it out, between 4 hours as a bird, and 4 hours with Longstrider it will take Caladrel 3 days to reach the university (75 miles). The train is the way to go, but it will take some convincing before Caladrel agrees. Notice that since no one else seems to have ridden on the train, he has reverted back to suggesting you all walk to the university. He is very unsure about this.

Heheh. The race idea is amusing at least.

Trina has no objections to the train ride on principle, but is a bit nervous about the idea of being crammed in with all those people. She's a little anxious about close quarters. She has no overwhelming objections to either plan, though she would greatly prefer renting a carriage or something to actual walking. =)

Nope, Trina came partway by foot, partway by carriage, as mentioned in her first post.

Yep, mostly my suggestion was of a race between the train riders and those on foot/paw.

Checking the beginning of the thread:
Jerry rode in on Luce, and spent some time on a carriageway.

Trina came by horse, wanting to avoid the train crowd.

Rhodes took the train.

Sylvia tried to take the train but Chanticleer wouldn't cooperate and was forced to ride in.

Caladrel flew in in bird form.

Krosh doesn't say how he made the main part of the trip, just that he took a carriage to the estate itself.

Most certainly I would have taken a carriage. I've had enough walking around as is, and my feet hurt.

I am kind of loving the fact that you all care enough to have this debate in the first place. Carry on :) There are no wrong answers.
