| Nelo Angelo |
Nelo wakes up, then looks out of the window to see a great battle taking place, with fire everywhere.
Without hesitation, he unlocks the door to his room So he can get back in and then takes a running jump out of the window.
If 10ft (should be I'd imagine), here's an acrobatics to hopefully take no damage:
Acrobatics (controlled fall): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Planting his fist deep into the ground as he lands, he looks ahead to catch a glimpse of the action.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
| Derrus Hammerfell |
im hitting the hay so here is my turn
edit: I forgot about superstition, which makes that reflex a 19
A great fury brews in derrus's eyes, then he charges forward with his sword raised high.
ref: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
charge: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21damage: 3d6 + 19 ⇒ (1, 5, 2) + 19 = 27

The next morning...
Downstairs the gnome is making breakfeast. Through out the house the smell of eggs fills the air. You wake up to the cloudless morning and it feels humid. As you walk downstairs, the gnome looks at you momentarily, then goes back to cooking. Once everyone has come downstairs, the gnome starts speaking.
I thank you again for helping me last night. Now, I know you are questioning yourselves, but hear me out. The reason Rienn wants to kill Ceraile is because she killed her mother. She had always blamed her for it, and nobody has believed her.
He looks at Rienn, who is curled up on the couch sleeping away.
Rienn is 14 by the way, and she still is in full form.
Rienn is a Razzari, the masters of shapeshifting. If you are wondering, she's a little on the young side. Technically, she isn't even an adult yet, her birthday is tomorrow. What you see now is her true form, and she's shy about it, so don't say anything about it. As I had said earlier, she is emotional about her mother's death. And I don't mean to say anything negative, but I think your silent friend here set her off. Knowing her though, it probably isn't your fault. I will take you where Rienn had planned to go last night, since she's asleep and waking her will make her mad. And I don't know about you, but I like to have my bones the way they are now, and not broken. Just tell me when you are ready to go.

The elf is downstairs just as the Gnome starts to cook. He sits in the corner with the best shadows. Reading through one of the books he found.
"Who is Ceraile, her abilities and livelihood?" he asks as he serves himself up a plate of food.

Ceraile is the person we are going to kill tomorrow. She is mostly the healing type of cleric, but to get an idea of her power, thinking of fighting Rienn again. Now, about her lifestyle, I really don't anything about, but what I'm worried about is the people that where in that shuttle, and seeing how Barackus is wanting heads for his god, he can take theirs. So any more questions?
Keston Bane
|
"Any problems?" the elf directs the question to the one coming down the stairs.
| Nelo Angelo |
The dark knight glares at Keston, laughing with a deep and demonic sound as he walks past the man.
HUHAHAHAHEH, bellows the Outsider as he jams his sword into the wooden floor before sitting down for breakfast.
Keston Bane
|
"I will take that as a no... At least he didn't attack me." The elf smiles towards Barackus.
| Nelo Angelo |
Nelo stands after his meal, dislodging his sword from the ground before walking past those with him, heading for the door.
As he approaches, he slams his hand hard into the door, forcing it open and off of its hinges, walking across it as he marches outside.
Power Attacking Sunder: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

"Well at least he didn't hit me!" The elf slaps his thigh and laughs at the destruction. "Well I am going to leave now, so that I don't have to see her mad again, come along Barakus we shall move forward and see what we can kill, I hope to take a few slaves." The elf smiles gleefully.

Drolmnaite comes back from upstairs carrying a bottle made from a dark, black material.
I'm ready to go, I'll be outside. Don't expect much of a challenge from any of the villagers though. There may be a few people who will put up a good fight, but I'm not promising anything.
He puts the bottle in his bag and walks to the door. He sees that it is splintered and broken. He sighs and snaps his fingers, and the door is magically mended. He walks outside and mumbles under his breath.
| Barackus Skullcleaver |
He starts making some arcane gestures.. For anyone watching it appears to be some sort of summoning spell He shouts "Binded to me by my Dark Lord, come to me Terror and feast once more!" A fiendish dire bat materializes from nowhere and lets out a loud screech.. "Keston you wanna ride him? The others are quite a bit too large, but he could carry you.."
Drolmnaite
|
The village isn't that far away, we should be able to get there in less than 30 minutes if we are all riding there and don't stop. But seeing that we all don't have a ride, it will take about an hour. There will be many heads to chopped off. I hope you have something to carry them in, because what you chop, you take. In fact, I recall hearing Barackus and Derrus talking about having a competition, well here is my idea. Whoever can get the most heads wins. The winner gets a prize.
The gnome mounts his scorpion and opens his bag and pulls out the bottle again. He inspects it, handling it with delicacy, constantly turning it over in his hands. He puts the bottle in his pocket and smiles to himself.

This is a bottle of shadows, it summons a shadow to fight for me. If a shadow kills a humanoid with it's melee attack, the shadow creates another shadow. So seeing that we are fighting villagers that have no chance of winning, I thought I could have some fun. I also brought it just in case something happens. This village is similar to Calico, it has a leader and a second in command. I don't know anything about them, but they will put up a fight. They won't be pushovers, but we'll kill them easily enough.
The gnome smiles and looks at the bottle
But I don't think I'll have to use it...
| Barackus Skullcleaver |
"I'll accept that challenge.. Just a heads up to yall i have a particularly nasty attack in which i cast hold person and use my misfortune to make them reroll if they shrug off the spell.. After this someone may chop their head off.. Just sayin.."
Basically a full round cdg is what this causes on a failed save..
Keston Bane
|
"Nice, that rhymes. Well thank you Barackus, I will ride you summoned pet." The elf climbs on nimbly and adjusts himself a bit, pulling out his bow.
"I will have no chance at your challenge, though I only ask that you leave some pretty females for my slaves. If they give you too much gruff, it is a waste, though a waste that I can understand." The elf logically weighs it out loud for you all to understand his logic.
| Nelo Angelo |
Looking forward, Nelo doesn't seem to hesitate or care about the conversations going on around him, and only seems focused on his own goals, walking ever so slightly behind the one leading the party to their destination.
As he walks, right hand holding sword over shoulder, his clawed left hand that hangs by his side can be seen opening and closing, with a small ball of blue fire coming into creation and dissipating once more.
You all get the impression Nelo is the epitome of mindless violence.
Keston Bane
|
"I am glad that you are keeping my interests at mind, Barakus." Bane smiles, also he uses his left hand and taps his chest above his heart.
| Nelo Angelo |
Nelo swiftly directs his attention to the gnome. His hand then opens up to reveal a blue orb like flame, at which point he marches fourth and stops in Drolmnaite's path.
Standing in front of him, he stabs his sword into the ground with incredible speed, glares at the puny creature and laughs as he throws the fireball directly over the Gnome's head, singing a few hairs as the ball of fire hits some nearby tree's.
You get the impression he doesn't appreciate being seen as simple.
