you can leave the room, just not Gallowspire.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Lefty and I were trying to tunnel out of Arazni's room to the lobby downstairs. I thought we were locked in the room with the teleportation circle. In that case, Star would like for the group to relocate to the lobby, and she will throw up a Screen.

Sounds good, Star.

okay, so what's the rest order. Also, what's the DC of the will save Star?

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

DC 37. Star should rest first; she can be on permanent watch after an hour due to Sustained by Faith. Maybe Baergar and Hiram can take watch first.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

She'll also renew her Mind Blank spell as they go down.

Male Human Fighter (Tactician 17/Champion 10) [ HP 340/340 | AC 38 Tch 26 FF 33 | Fort +25 Ref +19 Will +21 | CMD 47 | Init +22 Perc +31 | Effects: ]

Yeah, I'm good for whatever shift.

I can be done in 2 hrs.

So who's on first watch?

M Elf Rog 1/Wiz 7/Trickster 10: Init +13; Perception +24; AC 33 (), 22 () T, 26 () FF /hp 185/185, Saves F +16, R +21, W +8; +2 vs. enchantment

Baergar, then Hiram.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

As king, I am always on watch :)

just Baergar then? and how long a watch you taking?

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

Sounds like 2 hours. 1 alone, then 1 with Star. Then Lefty is with Star. Right?

Okay. All mythic characters that failed their save against the destruction of the phylactery should note that after the first hour, they only regain 1 mythic power point, not all (as they normally would)

Will Save: 1d20 + 15 + 1d12 ⇒ (18) + 15 + (5) = 38

Baergar and Star:
the only warning you have before the attack comes is that the area around you gets really quiet. You can't even hear the sound of your companions breathing, much less you're own movement. Then comes the attack.

Baergar's Perception: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (6) + 38 = 44
Star's Perception: 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (13) + 36 = 49
Torak's Stealth: 1d20 + 44 ⇒ (18) + 44 = 62

Attack roll vs. Lorelei's Flatfooted AC of 42: 1d20 + 40 ⇒ (9) + 40 = 49
Damage Roll: 2d10 + 1d8 + 31 ⇒ (10, 6) + (4) + 31 = 51

Lorelei:

okay, so you are going to take 1 point of dex damage, and -19 penalty to Con. I need you to make a fort save, DC 31 to avoid a death attack.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

Sorry it wasn't ranged Lorelei. I would have eaten it for you.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Wow. Talk about getting a Nat 20 when I needed one.

"Ouch!" Lorelei howls as a giant gaping appears in her chest. Still, the little Oracle somehow withstands a deadly attack that should have killed her.

From my understanding, due to Sustained by Faith ("If you have abilities or class features that require rest before they can be regained, you can choose to regain them once per day by spending 1 hour in uninterrupted meditation."), Star can get everything back, including mythic power, once per day. Otherwise, the ability would be a bit pointless. If nothing else, this attack gives her another point of power.

Lorelei quickly retaliates. Tapping deep into her mythic well of power, she conjures up a spell that hopefully reveals the unseen enemy that has been plaguing the group.

Lorelei uses Inspired Spell to mimic Invisibility Purge. All invisibility within 100 feet fails.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

Assuming I can see him now...

Baergar moves effortlessly, like simply shifting his weight, and strikes Torak.

Fleet charge (up to a 300ft move and an attack at +10 more than usual as a swift action) 1d20 + 47 ⇒ (12) + 47 = 59 for 3d6 + 46 + 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6) + 46 + (4, 5) = 66

Full attack now that I am here :)
1d20 + 37 ⇒ (15) + 37 = 52 for 3d6 + 46 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 4) + 46 + (2, 6) = 61 228 damage
1d20 + 37 ⇒ (18) + 37 = 55 for 3d6 + 46 + 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 4) + 46 + (5, 6) = 72 228 damage
1d20 + 32 ⇒ (11) + 32 = 43 for 3d6 + 46 + 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5) + 46 + (1, 5) = 62
1d20 + 27 ⇒ (19) + 27 = 46 for 3d6 + 46 + 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 4) + 46 + (6, 1) = 66 228 damage

You can't actually, nor can you hear him. Why don't we go to initiative?

Sigh

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

I'll just roll for Manisha to speed things along.

Hiram
Lefty

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Did Rose's Miracles recharge with Star since she's Lorelei's intelligent item, does she need to rest a full eight hours, or is that "per day" timed to 24 hour day clock where Rose automatically regains her spell-like abilities at every 24 interval (say midnight)? The rules aren't exactly clear how these things work for intelligent items.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Can Star also guess the general direction she was stabbed from?

no, I think they will need a time to recharge (like, say, midnight). I'm fine with using them at 12:59 pm and 1:01 am, for example, but they should only recharge once/24 hours.

As for the combat, let me get something of a map created.

M Elf Rog 1/Wiz 7/Trickster 10: Init +13; Perception +24; AC 33 (), 22 () T, 26 () FF /hp 185/185, Saves F +16, R +21, W +8; +2 vs. enchantment

I started in a different time zone.

I got the combat map up, and I marked the location where you were attacked from. If you guys wanna wake people up to have them join the combat, then you'll have to take a standard action to do so, since there is a silence effect currently at play.

M Elf Rog 1/Wiz 7/Trickster 10: Init +13; Perception +24; AC 33 (), 22 () T, 26 () FF /hp 185/185, Saves F +16, R +21, W +8; +2 vs. enchantment

Lefty would be asleep. You may not need him, depending.

M Elf Rog 1/Wiz 7/Trickster 10: Init +13; Perception +24; AC 33 (), 22 () T, 26 () FF /hp 185/185, Saves F +16, R +21, W +8; +2 vs. enchantment

Then again, he could be helpful.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Mentally grumbling about wasting her last Miracle, Star quickly uses the most effective option she has to soundly beat her foe's stealth: she has Rose Glitterdust the general direction of where Star got stabbed. With the stealthy annoyance now so visible that Star could see him across the room, the Oracle quickly retaliates. Tapping into her newly renewed mythic pool of power, Star uses her vast magical power to neutralize the man.

Rose Miracles a Glitterdust in Torak's general direction. Given the area of effect, he should be covered with the stuff. DC 24 will save to avoid being blinded. Now totally visible to Star with a -40 to his stealth roll, Lorelei uses Inspired Spell to cast Persistent Hold Person on Torak. If he makes those two saves, she will use the Misfortune revelation to make him roll again. In short, he has to make three DC 32 will saves or be paralyzed.

If she would recognize him as undead with her +29 Knowledge Religion, Star will instead cast Polymorph Any Object to turn him into Stone ala Flesh to Stone. Since POA works on objects, it works on undead. She will Misfortune him again. As such, he has to make two DC 38 fort saves or be turned to stone.

well, you half win. The half-orc that you saw earlier does become visible, but your hold person appears to have no effect on him.(he's not undead, but hold person doesn't effect him either.

Will Save: 1d20 + 15 + 1d12 ⇒ (3) + 15 + (2) = 20 Looks like he's blinded for the moment, too.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

Can I kill him now? :)

M Elf Rog 1/Wiz 7/Trickster 10: Init +13; Perception +24; AC 33 (), 22 () T, 26 () FF /hp 185/185, Saves F +16, R +21, W +8; +2 vs. enchantment

You can, or you can wake up one of your allies, as the only two people conscious are Baergar and Star

B+%%#+&s, forgot that bit.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Did Torak do anything? I think it's his turn.

Will do that now.

Torak tumbles away from the pair of heroes flanking him and moves to attack Hiram, before bounding away towards the stairs.

He's using mythic spring attack with a point of mythic power move to Hiram, attack him, and move away, without provoking (thanks to spending a mythic power).

Attack Roll with mythic power attack and prone vs. Hiram's FF ac of 33: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (13) + 38 = 51

dropping 19 sneak attack dice to give Hiram a -19 to his con.

Damage Roll: 2d10 + 1d8 + 51 ⇒ (5, 4) + (2) + 51 = 62

Hiram is awakened by a curb stomp to the head, and it's his turn. I've moved Torak on the map, so it's up to date. The aura of silence is gone now as well.

-19? Ouch. Con at 17, I'm down to 208/270
He could pick me off in another hit anyway so I'm going to try to limit his mobility

Move action: Stand
Quickrunner's Shirt: Move
Swift:
Steer Opponent (Bull Rush): 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (12) + 36 = 48
Standard: Vital Strike (PA) Called Shot (Leg): 1d20 + 36 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 36 - 2 = 43 +Steer opponent bonus if any.
8d6 + 122 + 60 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 6, 1, 6, 3, 6) + 122 + 60 = 218

Nice shot, although I will point out that you can't called shot with either vital strike or as a standard action, cause it's a full-round action in and of itself. Taking the damage for what it is, you still have seriously bloodied the hell out of him.

Looks like initiative order is:

Lefty will cast a targeted Greater Dispel Magic on him. DC 31. Up to 5 spells can be dispelled.

CL to overcome SR, if needed: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (1) + 26 = 27

I'm so cool!

Improved Called Shot and Greater Called Shot let me do so.

fair enough Hiram.

1d100 ⇒ 92

Greater dispel magic doesn't allow SR, but you do need to make a base caster level check to see what spells are removed.
