Can I stop throwing up now?
Zirul will start putting on his armor, accepting Cerilis's help to speed up the process. He will then wait for the others to join them so they may all come up with a plan about what to do next.

Ravenna rolls out of the bed, hits the floor hard, then springs to her feet. "I'm up mom, I'm up!" she shouts.

After a groggy moment she grabs her rapier from her sword belt and her buckler from the bedside, then says, "First time fighting in my nightgown! Let's do this."

Jax seems still sleepy, as he watches the scene unfold without truly reacting.

The elf enters the other room and inspects the bodies, and it's in that moment that fe snaps awake.
"What in the Nine... I thought I was dreaming, but dreams don't smell this bad. Looks like we have a job to do, boys." he says with a wide smile.

This is the kind of things that never happened back at home... this is why I left."
Ready to move when you are.

Augier retrieves his gear. So down into the dark eh? We might have to leave town quick if the owners are in on this.

INACTIVE - GAME DIED

"Wait a sec!" says Ravenna suddenly. She lunges over to the nightstand, grabs her hat, and puts it on her head. "All right, let's do this," she says.

If we actually have time Ravenna could put on her armor, but if we're in a hurry it's gonna be hat, buckler, and nightgown!

I would put on your armor. I have the physical module. I'm going to try again to scan more maps tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

INACTIVE - GAME DIED

Well, if you say I should stop and do that, I will; I'm just playing under the presumption that we are trying to chas esomeone down and time is of the essence!

With as much haste as the party can muster, they don their gear and ready their weapons for a hunt of retribution or perhaps at least some investigation. They assemble, ready, in the hall outside of rooms 7, 8, and 9, trying to get their bearings. They must decide now which action to take next.

So how did these things get in your room?

INACTIVE - GAME DIED

"Great question! Window? Door? Secret passage in a fireplace?"

Thanks for your patience. I will proceed once the party decides where it wants to go. You can investigate the inn, or the surrounding village.

Let us keep checking out this inn, this is where we got attacked.

"I doubt the door, and if there were more than one the window seems slow to get in."

Siondel searches the room with the fallen bad guys.

I am to assume that these people that attacked us did not close the secret door that they came in when the fled. If this is the case then every one in our room would see the opened secret door on the wall along with two dead bodies.

Cerilis, they did enter and exit through the secret door and you were the only PC that is aware of this. They left one trog behind to engage you as they fled ando secured the secret door as they left. You have seen where it is, in your room only.

Zirul and Cerilis both begin to overcome the feeling of nausea.

Siondel, since you have recently entered the room, you must make a fort save or be nauseated.

Male Elf druid 2. HP 16/16. AC 16 T 14 FF 14. Fort +4 Ref +3 Will +6; +2 vs enchantment Scimitar +2 (1d6+1 18-20/×2); Longbow +3 (1d8 20/×3)

"Ugh! What the <blorgh>...?!?!"

Augier helps searching the place.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

The stench has begun to dissipate enough that it doesn't cause Augier to become nauseous. Besides, he has developed a strong resistance to olfactory offenses due to his hygienic practices. He manages to find the secret door that Cerilis was already aware of. It doesn't budge.

Anyone help get this open?

INACTIVE - GAME DIED

Fort save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

Ravenna arrives in the rapidly-growing-crowded room.

"It must have some other trigger mechanism, it OHMYGODS WHAT IS THAT SMELL!"

Before long, the elf simply shruggs and goes to work on the trapdoor. By which I mean, he tries to force it open using brute strength.

Time for the Wilheim Scream?

GM:

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Jax pushes the secret panel so hard it becomes unhinged and with the same momentum, he falls forward rolling into a wall of oak planks as a javelin sails just above his head into the wood behind him. Two reptilian creatures await the adventurers in the tunnel behind the wall. Both draw clubs in hopes of achieving something in these early morning hours.

Jax you will respond first, as you have entered first, then Aaagghh, then I will need to know what order the rest of you enter the passageway if you decide to push forward. If you retreat, we will roll initiative once the trogs follow if they are bold enough.

Augier will cast Sleep on the trogs. DC 13 Will or fall asleep.

Cerilis tries to point at the secret door location in the wall, but is overcome with waves of nausea. His eyes start to clear and his heaving subsides. Wiping vomit from his chin and feeling the lump on the side of his head, he is not surprise to see the weapon hit the wall. He moves in after the jax to lend a hand with the creatures.
Be wary of their stench, I think it might just be able to compete with Augier.
He looks over at Augier as he enters the tunnel
Sniff sniff....
maybe

1d20 ⇒ 19 1d20 ⇒ 15

Both trogs, resist the spell of Augier. The enclosed passageway allows only one creature to be in front of a single-file line.

If anyone attacks from behind Jax, they would need a reach weapon. Jax, standing up will provoke an AoO from the first trog. Fortunately for you, they possess no reach weapons or ranged weapons, just clubs, claws and bite.

Well that was a non starter. Augier will move out of the passage and back into the room.

Can't access the map from my phone as of now, only one question because I didn't fully understaood it with your last post: they are threathening him or are they 5ft away?

Blaspheming under his breath, Jax swiftly stands up knowing that a blow may be on his way. Once face to face with the trogs, the elf sighs and lunges with his scimitar, aiming at the first trog with a cross cut.
If necessary, I will five foot step towards them

Jax fells the sticky creature in front of him quite easily with his quick martial maneuvers. The yellow blood and mucus sprays upon the wall.

Jax, make a fort save or be nauseated.

Cerilis's dagger flies true, but grazes the flinching trog who now stands alone with club in hand.

If any other besides Cerilis, Jax or Aagghh, have an attack to make, go ahead before the trog goes after Jax. Also, Aagghh, yourfailed spell felt like a 'C' wizard moment. :)

Ravenna hops from foot to foot, waiting for the chance to move forward. "Get 'em Jax!" she shouts by way of encouragement.

The trog puts everything that it has into the attack on Jax as it is desperate for some measure of success in its futile last stand.

Attack with club: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Desperation falls over the trog's face as much as it can express itself as it comes to a realization that it may soon perish.

His all-or-nothing attack failed miserably and he awaits retribution.

Ok. Jax and then Cerilis attack first followed by anyone else who is able.
