Hello? Is anyone still interested in playing? Ikkit's been out of the game for a month - hope he's okay - but am wondering if he's still playing? Zheng and Targan, do you guys have anything to add to the current conversation? Seka still needs Zheng to give the priest his shard ... even if Ikkit isn't on the board currently.

Targan isn't part of this, he didn't have any shards, or any real interest in them, which is why I'm quiet.

I understand busy, so no worries.

I'm fine with either option. But if we want to proceed as soon as we can, then putting up a new recruitment thread for replacements seems wise as we can get new people into the game more quickly. Targan, what do you think?

since the other two are out, we will move the the sword shards to one of you two, anyone call dibs?

Also if a recruitment does start i will have you two level up to level 2, just so i can keep everyone at about the same level of accomplishments and such for leveling. so the recruitment's would be at level 2.

Also this is a rather convenient time to have lost people, your in a village after a major accomplishment...Such convenience has never happened for me before...losing a player usually happens at the worst times, like the middle of a dungeon.

Perhaps we can get a dedicated healer among the applicants? I gave Seka a level in cleric to be useful re healing and Undead, but I'd rather not make her a full-time/primary healer for the group (she could be a secondary healer). Targan, is this fine with you?

Hello, this is Jokulmorder's player speaking. I am very sorry I haven't posted in weeks but that is due to my compulsory military service just starting, and I was stuck in a military base for a whole 3 weeks. As a result of the tightly regimented lifestyle of the military, it leaves me with little time for posting on here. Therefore, I must retire from this game. I am very sorry for any inconvenience I am causing as a result of this but my lifestyle can no longer support such leisure. That being said, it was fun playing with you guys, for whatever short period of time we did.

Hmm. GM, since the new players are coming in on level 3 and thus have more coin to spend on weapons and equipment, will the original players have a chance to upgrade their stuff too before we continue on in game?

Have we earned any coin in game so far? Sorry, I couldn't remember if we had. Or did we opt for a place/house to live over a coin reward? I know when we started, we only had average gold per class ... Perhaps we could have some nice benefactor in game offer some better equipment to Seka and Targan? ;)

the coin from the thief kings place was 4000 in total, not sure if you guys factored in that coin or not but sinces theres only 2 of you split in half. or make sure you have 2000 minimum.

GM: Before the new guys come into game, is there a chance for Seka and Targan (once they get some sleep as the hour is late in game) to make some purchases for equipment and better gear and weapons? Can you tell us what kind of gear is available in Greywater Hollow? Any masterwork armour by chance?

Regarding the shards, perhaps with Seka's higher Will save, she should carry the shard from the corrupted holy blade and Targan should carry the shard of the unholy blade used for good/to destroy it?

I believe the beguiling voice came from the corrupted holy blade shard, correct GM?

nope thr voice came from different shards, shards of glass from the sphere that was raising the dead. ikkit specifically took those for himself, you guys get to inherit those and the different sword pieces

also most items are available, and yes the new pc's will be introduced the next in game day. basically, you guys let the priest do his work and research whilst your characters rest.

for the record unholy and holy don't nessacarily mean good and evil here. the story you were told so far basically said the holy blade caused more evil than the unholy one.

Oh I understand about the blades. It just seemed more logical to give the corrupted holy blade to a Druid/cleric with high will power is all.

Okay, so Ikkit's sphere shard does the talking. Seka will hold onto that shard then as her willpower is greater than Targan's. ;)

I'm still a little confused about the shards that Ikkit has in his possession and that Seka is taking once his character formally leaves the game.

Ikkit found a purple glass-like shard back at the swamp/river. He also took the shards of glass from the destroyed sphere that was raising the dead inside the castle ruin? These are two different shards, separate from the two sword shards?

apologies, i am sometimes not the best at explaining. thing got weird and confusing along the way. i will try and clarify from the beginning.

so there are 3 types of shards

there are two sword shard both are similar though feel different to the touch

there are also those glass shards from the sphere, in the center was one of said sword shards.

Ikkit for reasons i cant specify, did in fact take those sphere shards from the undead raising orb

Ikkit also found a purple like shard on the shores of the river/swamp, so wouldn't that mean 4 types of shards?

This is your narrative on it: Ikkit, on your watch you find an odd purple glass-like shard among some stones on the shore. the outer part of the shard is smooth and rounded. It feels odd in your hand, almost dangerous. It feels as if it's throbbing in your grip.

That shard was part of the orb actually, it more or less is the reason he took the orb shards.
