OK. Discussion is up and all of the characters have been approved.
Once I have everything ready, I'll put up gameplay and we can get started.
The city has a ward put over it that everyone born in it has an arcane mark in the shape of an M inside a circle, to distinguish citizens, but it also gives you away to the smaller cities that bear a grudge against you.

Na, would have kicked the sleeping guy. Everyone else was dotting, so I figured I would poke. The other pbp meaning of poke is when nothing has happened in a few days, I don't think that you all are quite to that point yet.

I was actually posting a long intro post, and then the stupid site timed out when I hit preview and I lost the whole thing. Will try to get it retyped in a while.

What is broken? It is replying slightly different than normal, but I do not know what is broken.

Ah - that is why I always use Preview. That way I pick up the errors pretty quick. Did not realize that they had the first 1/2 of the [dice], but not the closing brackets.

As a request to all, if you can use Bold for spoken words, and italics for internal thoughts, it makes reading posts much easier. This is the technique I use in all my campaigns and I believe almost everyone else on these boards does likewise. I can only think of one character who seems to refuse to use bold for spoken word and it is hard to find in his posts when he is talking.

Note - this does not mean that you can only use bold and italics for these purposes, but using them for these two things really does make reading posts much easier.

I can try to change, but in the 30+ campaigns that I have been in - I think I am in 15 or so active ones right now, they all use the technique I posted.

The problem with using standard type, is that spoken words and thoughts tend to get lost. Sure, people frequently use "quotes", but that is often hard to decipher.

I have never had to use telepathy. I would probably put it in a spoiler since it is likely directed to a single person.

Actions are just posted using normal type, never had a problem with them. The only confusion is when someone includes stuff in a long paragraph. If I post a long paragraph, I will usually repost the actual actions:

Move: Move to X23, adjacent to the goblin.

Standard: Attack-goblin-unarmed: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Swift: Use Arcane Armor Mastery (which would be pointless with an unarmed attack, but so be it)

I don't expect you to be able to change- once you've got a posting style, changing is is nearly impossible, expesally when you need to use it in other campains.

Heck, i think Lynora and i are the only ones that still use it. I leaned from her. Now i can't stop using it.

I understand where you're coming from, and would like to accommodate my players as much as possible, but I post almost exclusively from my phone and that means formatting is a /major/ pain to do, especially in every post.
If it helps, there is always a line break between actions and dialogue. :/

Usually you need to post in the Gameplay Tab for the campaign to recognize you as having participated. The Discussion and Recruitment threads don't link you to the campaign.
