"Woah, I did not know that you were sensitive about it, Lina.
You only joined us, what about a month or two before we got a second chance, and passed yourself off as a guy."

At this point Halloran deciding discretion is the better part of valor, says nothing. He'll wait until this current topic of conversation is over.

Hank:
"A change in subject is in order, I believe."
and points to the south west
"Like that nasty looking storm coming in.
I think we should batten down the hatches before it hits."

The Storm Hank points to looks like a nasty and powerful thunder storm with coal black clouds and a high and wide thunderhead.
You all suddenly hear a very loud Boom.

Adding a NPC renders to their names so you can see them and tell them apart.
Also added something at the top to help.

Duke:
"Woah, that does look and sound nasty."

Kesten Garess:
"Looks like today's patrol is going to be called off.
As I don't like the look of that storm, as I've seen one similar that pelted you with hail and dang it, it hurt."

Doesn't look like we'll be going anywhere, either. says Halloran.

I suggest we secure what ever needs securing, and find someplace to wait out the storm, the bunkhouse would probably be our best bet.

Alkaid after seeing and hearing the storm adds
"Looks like we should hunker down."

She approaches Halloran and asks quietly
"Halloran do you have any more of that Love Wine?
As I want to extract certain compounds from it to help Lina with her problem."

Oleg:

Oleg slowly comes out of the house.
"Was that Thunder?"
He sees the thunderhead
"I guess So....."

Svetlana slows exits the doorway after her husband with a slightly blushed face.
"I guess we'll need to prepare for a long strong storm."

Alkaid says to Kira in a whisper as she is next to her
"I you were thinking about poor Lina's condition.
If I had to guess she has very low hormone levels of various kinds including estrogens and androgens.
And if something is not done to correct it in a 5 to 7 years, she'll be stuck like that.
I already have an idea as to how to correct it."

"I'm just hoping there is another bottle of Love Wine.
This is due to Love Wine's tendency to kick Certain hormones into moving.
And the plan would be to extract that magic compound from it."

Kira quietly replies to Alkaid, "I would be glad to help in any way that I can. No woman should be made to feel less than she is. I don't know much about the actual chemistry of a womans body, but we both know I have the instincts of a woman on the prowl. If you need my assistance at all, you may have it in any way.

After hearing the general desire to secure the area, Kira backs away from the table. Focusing on Frank and Charlie, she says, "Well boys if you are just going to sit there talking, I guess I will go and make myself useful. I'm more of a woman who likes those who do things, rather than those who just talks a big story. Would you like to join me Lina? Maybe you could show me what we'd need to secure around here.

I'm not really sure, when we attacked the bandit camp we found two crates of liquor. One of a green herbal liquor, which I haven't dared to touch, and a crate of unmarked bottles. So every time I pull a bottle out of the unmarked crate, I'm never sure what I'm going to get. Halloran says.

Assuming a wry expression, he says, Though so far it seems like every bottle I pick winds up embarrassing me. After the storm I'll show you the crate if you like, but right now I'm going to see if I can be useful, excuse me.

Going over to Oleg, Halloran asks, Can I help with anything?

Oleg's response is

Elaine tries to secure the trading post when she is asked.

Kira will primarily assist Lina, with securing the trading post, but will assist anyone else as is needed.

Lina:

As Lina works with Kira Lina asks questions with some embarrassment in her voice, face, and overall body language
"Hmm... Kira do you think I could every get a body like Lady Alkaid's, Asta's or even yours?
As I am flat as a washboard, and don't even have any feminimity in my hips, thighs, rear, and heck even my face.
And I hate being mistaken for a boy, even though it may have saved my from trouble in the past."

"But do you think it is possible?
Lady Alkaid did say it would take time, some effort and even a few changes to my diet. And I'm willing to be patient if it's true?"

Halloran will help out wherever he is needed, as a carpenter he's probably best equipped to secure the doors and windows. Once he gets done with that, he'll secure the crate of mixed liquors and bring it to Alkaid.

He'll find shelter wherever he can, if he has to he'll squeeze into the stables with everybody else.

O.K. first of all I forgot that that was a Craft check, not a Profession check, second I forgot to factor in the +2 I get for Masterwork Artisan's tools, so that roll is actually a 12 instead of a 10 and 3rd I'm going to try again, which is allowed in the book since I didn't fail by 5 or more.

Before the storm comes Alkaid asks Halloran
"Since the storm will likely be a few hours or more,
I'm wondering if you could help me work on something for Lina and it would be great to have some extra help.
The storage room is empty and I asked if we could use the room for a week."

Throughout the work, Kira does her best to keep the conversation light and easy. She doesn't bring up the previous words spoken by Lina's partners in crime. When Lina brings up the subject though, Kira pauses for a short moment and adopts a thoughtful expression.

"I know that many women are not exactly happy with the way that they look. Even the most beautiful of us will still find fault in what anyone else would call an exquisite body." Kira looks Lina up and down once. "You called yourself a late bloomer, and I do believe that that is what you are. You are a beauty that is just waiting to unfold, you just need a little... tending to."

Kira turns away from Lina to pick up some materials for securing some of the goods at the trading post, bending at the waist in a way that she would to get a man's attention, showing no shame in the femininity of her form. While making this motion, she continues, "Not every flower blooms easily. Some of the most beautiful flowers need a skilled gardener to bring it to it's fullest potential." Kira turns and places some of the materials in Lina's hands. "Between Alkaid and I, we can bring you to your potential. Don't you worry about a thing, ok?"

Lina:

"I am thankful to have meet you and lady Alkaid, in that both of you are very supportive and helping me.
And giving me hope that I will bloom into a lovely flower."

Duke:
upon seeing Kira showing no shame in the femininity of her form as she picks up materials.
He approaches and asks
"Do you ladies need a hand?"

While her back is still turned to Duke, Kira gives a wink to Lina. She then looks over her shoulder and smiles coyly at Duke.

"Oh, I think we're okay for now. But I will let you know if," she pauses and admires Duke's form, "When we'll need some help. Perhaps we'll see you later in the stable?" Kira winks again, this timeee directly at Duke, and then turns away from the muscular man, turning her full attention to Lina.

"I'll need some help extracting certain compounds from a bottle of Love Wine.

Lina:

While her back is still turned to Duke, Kira gives a wink to Lina. She then looks over her shoulder and smiles coyly at Duke.

"I am jealous, you can rope men to help you and pay attention to you.

I have faith in Alkaid's healing talents. Halloran and Elaine fully trust her, so I think you can trust that she will be able to bring out your womanly form. Kira smile fades a little. While men may do what I want, I have never really been able to find the love that I've wanted from men. Many of them only want to use me, so I use them too when the opportunity arises. Her eyes dip down, thinking of the previous experiences she has had with those who had used and discarded her.

She raised her eyes back up and gave Lina an impish grin. I'm sure that Alkaid will help your body, but I'll do my best to have you be the one in control when it comes to men.

Lina:

"I had not completely thought of it going the other way around.
Lady Alkaid did say you have to respect others as they'd respect you, though in my case it was not completely balanced.
And she said that, if you control others that it MAY be an illusion of you in control."

"I guess you could say that people who say that they are always in control of their relationships are deluded, but we all have moments where we do control the outcome. You might not know this, but I was a singer in Restov. Nothing really big, not a well-known performer or anything, but it was a way to make a little honest money. It was one way where I was able to see how you can either have control or just the illusion of control.

"Think of it this way... When a person sings by themselves, they always have control over the final outcome. They determine what notes come out, and what speed they sing at. But if they were to sing along with another person or with an instrument, each of them trades off control. One person leads, and the other follows. One is in control, and the other is controlled. If you can trust the person who leads, you never need to fear being controlled. But if that person betrays your trust, then you are in trouble."

While finishing up her chore around this area, Kira finally admits, "I guess very few people ever fully have control when it comes to dealing with another person. The most you can do is suggest and see if the other person will follow what you suggest. All I mean to tell you is that given the correct... combination of training and instincts, you can find a way to give suggestions that others would be willing to follow. Nobody can be 'controlled' unless they are willing to be controlled. Does that make any sense, or are we even talking about the same thing here?"

"I'm sorry if I'm babbling it's just so nice to... be able to talk with someone who could be considered... a friend?

As a wizard I'm always interested in expanding my knowledge and this sounds like an interesting experiment. But I have to admit I have some concerns, if I understand your intentions correctly you want to take extractions from a bottle of Love Wine, 500 times more powerful than what we drank last night, and use it to effect permanent changes on Lina's body, is that correct? Halloran says.

Halloran folds his arms and looks at Alkaid with a troubled expression, My family are carpenters, and we may not have coined the adage, "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but we certainly used it a lot. You are proposing to change this woman's ENTIRE being, I can't even BEGIN to guess what the long term consequences of this action will be. I'm not saying I won't help, or that we shouldn't do it, but are you sure this is a good idea? Because if something goes wrong, we may not be in a position to undo any damage.

"The strength to age of Love Wine is non-linear, even though it's 500 years older than the one we drank, this bottle is about 20 times stronger (DC 13~15).
If this bottle was a 1000 years old, I would not even consider using it as it would be around 100 stronger (DC 25~30) than the one we drank last night."

"I can understand that adage, but you could she one of Lina's organs is broken, and a number of things could of been the cause.
And this process would not change her ENTIRE being, just fixing a problem."

"I still am in contact with them checking up on things, and I visited them last year and I have not noticed any negative effects."

And it's nice to talk with another woman besides Lady Alkaid who sees my potential, and looks are me more like an equal."

I bow to your expertise, in being a woman, and your experience with a prior experiment, I'm just saying that we should exercise caution and that Lina should be made aware of any and all risks, before we proceed.

One of the first things they teach apprentices who want to become wizards, (at least they did for me) is that magic doesn't solve everything, often it just causes more problems.

"True it might cause some problems, and I will go over the it with her.
But for a woman to not have a single point of femininity is like a living hell.
Seen as a boy by men, an outcast from groups of women, and made fun of for their state."

Halloran purses his lips thoughtfully and says, When you put it like that, it sounds like she'll do it no matter what I say.

Halloran lets out a sigh, Fine, we'll do it your way, I can't really understand what she's going through and it's her life to risk. I 'll help anyway I can, I just hope we don't wind up regretting this.

"I don't think we will regret it, though we may regret some minor thing about it."

After finishing with her attempts at securing the outpost, Kira heads with Lina into the stables and waits out the storm there.

Do you need any kind of roll for what I did? I imagine I was mostly just taking things out from the open and putting them inside or under cover, or just checked to see if ropes or covers were secure. And in most ways, I was trying to assist Lina in what she was doing.

I'll go with no rolls since you'd likely check your work.

Lina:

"I'm just going to wondering who'll park where for this storm,
Since there are few buildings to take shelter and sleep in.
And Some of use have been using tents for the past couple of weeks."
