Go ahead, we haven't started yet. I will try to review character sheets sometime this weekend.

I'm going to bring down CON 1 pt and up INT so I can get another skill point. I didn't want to dump CHR though. I have a good deal of HP and will probably be more useful with skill checks than anything else initially.

I thought you were good the last time I checked, with 14/13/16/10/16/10. Classic fighter/cleric stats. At low levels, anyone with a decent physique is handy in a fight, so no. I haven't assessed the group as a whole; but typically, my characters just hope that the cleric in their group has Sense Motive, Diplomacy if they have good Cha -- which oddly enough, I think Noa has covered -- and maybe Knowledge (religion) to identify undead, or something like that.

So in terms of their use to the group, your skill checks will be a distant third to your healing and your thwacking, no matter what your Int. (And you could take a skill rank instead of a hitpoint for your favored class bonus, if you really wanted to.) Want me to critique your character sheet?

My profile update won't be done until later today or tomorrow, myself. But you're at least the second PFS PbP player that I've seen with that kind of character sheet on Google. How'd you do it?

I like your stat line. You can always take all of your Favored Class bonuses as skill ranks.

I don't have a fillable character sheet. I looked just now, and there are quite a few different ones, mostly descended from Neceros's. I have no idea which one is best, or even what the differences are between them. So please send me one. :)

Also, I'm in the middle of updating Dasiji from the last scenario. I think that I'll take advantage of the 1st-level rebuild rules to swap Str and Dex, and trade out Deadly Aim for Power Attack. He'll still take the Archery style at 2nd, and pick up Deadly Aim later -- it's just that in practice, there's a round of ranged, and then the rest are (almost) all melee. He's already a switch-hitter; this is just acknowledging it.

Well, the 'best' one is probably debatable, but I like this one. There is also a 2 page version for the melee character and a 6 page version for the serious caster.

Dasiji, that sounds good. I like the change. You still have 2 PP laying around, right? You can spend it on obtaining a Masterwork Darkwood Composite Longbow with a +3 Str rating. Well worth the 2 PP if you ask me.

Edit: Oookaaay... apparently I have a Google drive. (Didn't know that.) So all I had to do was click to move it to my drive, then find my drive and download it. It was eerily easy.

I haven't updated my profile yet with all of the changes that I've made. But my higher Str means that I can carry more. What have you all actually used? For example, I got a collapsible plank last time, because I thought it sounded cool; but then we played a dungeon crawl, and I didn't even need it. Should I ditch it? What's more useful, even if less attention-grabbing?

I haven't finalized my buy either. Are we covered for healing, or should I lay out for a wand of CLW?

Every character should spend 2 PP on a Wand of CLW as soon as is convenient. Since character's can't pay each other back for spent resources or assist in the purchase of a Wand for another character, it is good Society practice to bring your own healing option to the table.

As you get higher in level it is also a good idea to keep a couple of useful scrolls around for similar reasons. Like Lesser Restoration, Remove Curse, stuff like that.

yah, mechanically, but not in-character. Perhaps by 6th or 9th level Aesantiel will have enough experience in broader Golarian to be able to integrate and apply her previous 90+ years as a desert dweller in a small tribe and then a small monastery.

But yeah, it's on the wish-list as well :)

Well don't I feel silly now, for telling you what you already knew. I think that I'm done now? I feel pretty good about this loadout.

@GM Brute Squad: Just so you know, the extra +1 hp over last scenario came from not really needing Handle Animal yet. So I switched the favored class bonus from skill ranks to hitpoints. I also swapped out Knowledge (geography) in favor of Knowledge (dungeoneering), since he's actually done that.

In other news, Noa and her group are in the last room of their scenario.

Just checking in to remind y'all I'm still here. Sandy may be causing some havoc up this way this tonight and tomorrow (and I've got a con in VT this weekend), but I should be good to go by Monday if you want to kick off this shin dig then.

45 minutes west is chin deep in snow. 45 minutes east is underwater. We were fortunate enough to just get rained on and largely missed by the storm.

Indeed. Here in the Midwest we are largely unaffected. I will hold off RP for a couple days for people to dig themselves out.

Kassandra, I’m interested in seeing what you mean by a Caster Bard, and having 4 characters that will benefit heavily from Inspire Courage should be a lot of fun.

Well, when you live on an island, it's kind of hard to get away from.

They could give us a flying carpet. It's useful over land and water! Like a helicopter. (I suspect that we're going to wish we had one.)

It looks like my guy Gristav (Hex/Staff Magus) might finish his mission before Noa. Since you're already running, should I wait for Noa, ride in with Gris, or give it a miss entirely? I suppose narratively either might be in the port you're headed for, but I don't know if that's PFS-legit.

Either way, as long as you show up before we hit combat, it's ok by me. And we can say you catch up, or were just being silent for the first part. Showing up at the port is a little late in the game.

I started reading the City of Strangers scenarios. I actually think it will be a smooth transition from this one. I’m looking forward to running them.

Teasing, sort of: I think I will call you Tithrak when referring to this character. I can’t get over how your first name sounds a lot like ‘Urinal’ in my head.

I've got an old-salt sailor character who I wrote as telling the tall tale of how he came to be hunted by the Golden Eyrines (Err-in-es or Err-ee-nes, I believe). But he always pronounces it as "Them Golden Eurinyes (Urine-yes)." :) "Bust one girl out o' their school, there, and they get all pissy!"

OK, this is Noa's and my second scenario, and I've got a pile of gold and maybe some PP(2) to spend. I knwo you're already in progress, so what happens? Does it not get spent? I would be cool with that. I would have to insist on a Masterwork Dance Dress (+2), because I used that to get my Dayjob done. Otherwise, she can stagger in and scrounge as she goes.

If on the other hand, I have time to spend money or PP, please feel free to advise. Like I said, noobs-R-us, here.

Yeah, the Taldor VC does not make a great impression in this one. I think they were going for the nobility shtick, but did it poorly.
