Hello! Welcome to Play By Post Gameday VII. As part of the festivities for this event, we have a few rewards you can win. After your table completes a scenario, win or lose, each participant (player and/or box runner) rolls 1d20. If your result is 1 or 20, you win. Select your reward from the list below and inform your Box Runner of your choice. We’ll make sure you get the reward sent to you.

Remember, Session 1 runs from August 13th, 2018-September 30, 2018. Your table must complete the scenario between those dates to roll for a reward. During Session II (October 1-November 12th) we’ll be running the multiple table interactive special Assault on Absalom.

Box Runners: If you have any questions about how to report, please contact me.

Have fun!

Gameday VII Adventure Card Game Rewards
Season of Tapestry’s Tides Reward #1
Unconventional Firepower: You may add one weapon that has the Firearm trait and one item that has the Ammunition trait from the Gunslinger Class Deck to your box. These cards must have an adventure deck number equal to or lower than your current tier. Each time you advance a tier, you may exchange one of these cards with another card of the same type from the Gunslinger Class Deck, following the same restrictions.

Season of Tapestry’s Tides Reward #2
Burgeoning Captain: At the beginning of a scenario that uses the Skull & Shackles Base Set, you may cross out this reward to gain the skill Survival: Wisdom +2 on your checks attempted while you are on a ship and on your checks attempted against a ship until the end of the scenario.

Season of Tapestry’s Tides Reward #3
Sea Legs: When you would fail a combat check against a bane that has the Aquatic trait, you may cross out this reward to reroll the dice and add 1d6; take the new result.

Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 3

boon: 1d20 ⇒ 4
ally 3: 1d1000 ⇒ 945 (Mountain Dog)

(we've got enough really nice upgrades that after everyone gets their normal upgrade, I may use my boon for an extra)

Power feat: box for 'or spells' for top of deck cards to recharge

Boon = 1d20 ⇒ 15

Power: Hand Size 6 [x] 7

Upgrade: Blessing 2 or Spell 3, whichever my other teammates don't want. :) 1d1000 ⇒ 737 if a roll-off is required.

Thoughts for a spell upgrade:

Existing spell list:

Augury
Acid Arrow
Force Missile 1
Force Missile 2

Frost Ray
Sphere of Fire
Ice and Fire

with a Spell 3, I could:

a) upgrade Augury to Scrying (or swap out a combat spell for additional dig);
b) upgrade a combat spell to Volcanic Blast (Arcane +3d6, evade if fail); or,
c) snag the Marrioinette Spell 2 (Arcane +1d6, +2d6 and ignore immunities if Construct,

I'm feeling like Scrying is the way to go; swapping out Force Missile 2, maybe?

---
A blessing would be straightforward. BotG becomes Blessing of Pharasma.

FYI - I will not have computer or internet access starting Sept 14 until Sept 25. You'll be welcome to continue playing during that time until you need a new update post.

Note that currently for the Gameday Session 2 I see one of our SoPlundered characters signed up. We'll need to pause this game during the Special unless different characters are used.

Note that I may be getting an extra table still from the waitlist. So we may be needing to pause anyway. I'll let the group know as soon as i know about that.

I would actually prefer to pause at the end of a scenario, even if it means pausing a few days before you leave.

Character Deck Upgrade Prefs: Weapon 5/4 > Item 5 > Ally 5/4 > Blessing 5

All sounds good to me.

Ditto!

Character Deck Upgrade Prefs: Weapon 5/4 > Item 5 > Ally 5/4 > Blessing 5

Just a heads up that I will be heading out on family vacation from this Saturday 29 Sep and returning on Sunday 7 October. My posting will be irregular at best during this time, if we end up continuing through into the Special timeslot.

I'm still fully available for the next 5 days though, so once we know what the plans are for this table during the Special, happy to discuss how to handle Flenta's temporary absence. I'm happy for her to be botted if needed if I don't post quick enough, or any other suggestion.

Box Runner

Hey all, I'm back!

It looks like it is Adowyn's turn. I know they said they were having trouble due to the weather. Since we technically were on pause while I was away I will give them a day before I bot their turn. I hope they are okay!!

I did get asked to run a second game during the special. We'll need to put this table on pause so I don't overdo things and because a character from this game has been signed up for a table during the special.

I'd like for us to still try to finish this scenario before we go on pause. I'm hoping we can wrap up before the special starts next week. If we can wrap up before Flenta goes on vacation, even better.

Once we finish this scenario, we'll plan on starting again on Nov 12 after the special has concluded.

The next scenario has a decision to make. We need to support either the Alchemists or Thriae.

The rewards between the two are mostly the same, though one slightly different RPG reward. The scenario rules are different.

Alchemist Scenario Rules:

DURING THIS SCENARIO
Using the deck list from the Thriae Hive, build a number of Thriae
Hive locations equal to the number of characters. When you close
a Thriae Hive location, do not flip the Thriae Hive card over.

After adding villains and henchmen, shuffle 1 henchman Stolen
Larvae into each location deck.

Each character starts at a different unoccupied Thriae Hive location.

When you discard cards as damage, first choose Stolen Larvae if
you have any.

When you would banish Stolen Larvae or put it into a deck or pile,
shuffle it into a random open location deck instead.

You win the scenario only when all of the Stolen Larvae are in
characters’ hands. (You do not have to defeat and corner the villain.)

REWARD
Each player chooses 1 of her Pathfinder Society RPG characters. That character may purchase potions of cure serious wounds as though their market price were 500 gp.

I'm down with the Alchemist mission. =)

I don't think I have any strong opinion on which scenario variant.

Scenario rewards:
Seelah doesn't want deck upgrades this time.
She takes a spell card feat, and fills it with a spell 1 (weapon of awe).

Character Deck Upgrade Prefs: Weapon 5/4 > Item 5 > Ally 5/4 > Blessing 5

I'm also happy with whatever. Alchemist sounds fine.

Ally 3: 1d1000 ⇒ 505 Hatchetbird
Blessing 2: 1d1000 ⇒ 448 BoGozreh

Flenta will take Blessing for card feat. Will either add the Blessing 2 above if she ends up with that, or BoCaydenCailean if not.

Blessing card feat for Adowyn
Blessing 2: 1d1000 ⇒ 985

Pass on upgrades, Radillo is happy to be a villain and help the Alchemists.

My skill feat is: Intelligence to +3 (from +2).

I'll hit up Hadden Hoppert again. I'm also not sold on keeping Nefti the Bard as a loot swap, if anyone else wants to take Nefti. I'd still like to take GotAfterlife, of course.

Box Runner

3-3D summary
Redgar/Radillo No upgrade, Int+1
Redelia/Seelah - No upgrade, Spell+1
Greenclaw/Flenta - Ally 3, Blessing+1
Marjim Marc Arafiles/Adowyn - Blessing 2, Blessing+1

Seelah will take her Hospitaler role, and take the feat that lets her heal during her turn by burying a divine card.

desired upgrade:
weapon 3: 1d1000 ⇒ 523

Sorry, posted to wrong thread initially.

Radillo passes on Deck Upgrades this time.

Will discount Hadden Hoppert (big surprise, eh?)

Power Upgrade: [x] When any character at your location attempts a check to defeat a monster, you may recharge an ally to reduce the difficulty of that check by 1 ([ ] 2) plus the adventure deck number of the recharged ally, if any.

Picking up a trick I learned from Feiya over in Absalom!
