Whilst waiting to see if he has succeeded or failed to disarm the trap, the rogue looks around for more dangers / clues / ways into or out of combat.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Survival: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

DM Stylz |

AOO on phred, +2 ac for cover of statues: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 251d8 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
As Phred moves in to attack the brute of a zombie, the zombie slams its frying pan size fist into Phred, and nearly knocks him to teh ground in a bloody heap. Lucky for him, his orc ferocity kicks in, as his rage boils to the top as he swings his large sword in retaliation. Despite his swing being not that well, he still manages to connect square with the foe and leaves a large gash of his own in the challenging foe.
Damage:
Phred 15 (-3/12, orc ferocity)
Zombie: 12/??
Varian moved forward, hoping that Phred stays up long enough to give him an advantageous position against the beast. As Narad moves back up the stairs, he notices a switch, very well hidden in the wall that appears to open a path or door in the wall behind the group current location.
Kail, is there anything you are doing, or just asking Narad the trap question?

![]() |

Nodding to Narad, Kailun begins casting a conjuration spell as he steps forward.
Summon monster I
Sorry, Narad, but I've got to squeeze with you this round. Go ahead and 5' step away if you can. We should be safe from attacks for this round, though.

![]() |

@DM Stylz Can I take any action? Or you will roll initiative?

DM Stylz |

Lini, you cast guidance on Phred for the "1st" round of combat, and Droogami held. Initiative was rolled a page back, and you all beat the ogre's initiative so you all go before the ogre. Droogami can go if you so choose before my ogre goes. Narad spent 6 rounds to disable the trap, the group held while it was disabled, and it took the ogre 6 rounds to squeeze through the damn map as a zombie so get to his current position. The trap is disabled, and the actions posted stand as the '1st' round of combat. Make sense?
Init Tracker: round 6-77
ogre: waiting round 6
Lini/Droogami: waiting round 7
Phred: -2/12, orc feroccity, waiting round 7
Narad: waiting round 7
Riceak: waiting round 7
Varian: waiting round 7
Kailun: waiting round 7

![]() |

It doesnt look like I can get into range of fighting the ogre without passing through a threatned square correct?
He will invoke the blessings of Shelyn and use his luck domain granter power.

![]() |

So, may Lini casts Guidance in the turns 2,3,4 and 5? If can, Lini will cast Guidance in Riceak, Varian, Narad and Droogami.

![]() |

Except for Kailun, everybody is under effect of Guidance, ok guys?

DM Stylz |

The ogre attempts to club Varian with his giant mitt. Varian goes down in a heap, blood seeping through what appears to be a lacerated kidney and he twitches every now and then.
Varian: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 201d8 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13[/dice]
Party up!
Varian: -2, dying
Phred: -2/12, Orc ferocity then will drop
Lini:
Droogami:
Riceak:
Narad:
Kailun:
Ogre: 12/??
Narad, if you want you can push the hidden lever as you go back up the stairs.
Riceak you have 10' reach, you should be able to stab between the statues at the ogre?

"The Great Eld, father of nature, ruler of the natural forms, bless me with the essence of nature to blind my opponent and put him back to the mud that he came from after his death."
After her words, a single ball of sticky mud appears in Lini's hand and she throws it in the ogre's face!
Lini casts http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/mudball, if she hits the Ogre, he will become http://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/conditions#TOC-Blinded
Ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
At the same time, Droogami runs in the Ogre's direction, trying to bite the beast and trip him to the floor.
Droogami bite, trip if hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 111d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 41d20 ⇒ 10
Then Lini goes close to Phred. "Stay calm and don't worry about your injuries" she tells him, with a smile in her face.

![]() |

That is what I was thinking.
1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 1 = 9
reroll with luck
1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 + 1 = 12
if that hits 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

DM Stylz |

Lini, hucks a ball of mud at the ogre and it blinds him. Unfortunately the ogre manages to shake its head and the goo falls off. As he crushes Varian in the side, causing massive inner injuries. (Nothing changes, sorry). Droogami then rushes in and bites the foul creature in the leg.
ogre reflex for mudball: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18
Riceak and Phred then tag team the ogre. Both attacks hit the lumbering creature, two deep slashes and the ogre falls. Phred stays conscious long enough to see the zombie fall to the ground, before he himself falls unconscious as his rage subsides and he succumbs to the orevioys blow.
save your SM, I will say the two acted before you.

Narad see a few posts of mine above.
Checked your POSTS. I don't see an explanation for "lever". Would you be so kind as to explain it?

Lini uses Narad's wand to heal her fellows injuries.
Phred (2 charges)
wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
"See? I told you."
Varian (2 charges)
wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
wand CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
"Are you ok, Varian?
Lini will use her scroll of cure light wounds in the half-elf.
scroll CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
"Feel better now?"

![]() |

[b] We are fortunate the goddess was with us! If not that creature could have caused more damage. [/b

![]() |

Varian grins weakly at Lini, before staggering to his feet.
"I've been better; that ogre *really* packed a wallop! Thanks for the healing."
He then nods to level the ogre came from.
"Let's explore this area; with a defender like that, there (hopefully) must be something here..."
Varian then begins to search the area.

![]() |

Varian wrinkles his nose as he regards the buried body.
"Well, it might have something on it... hopefully it doesn't turn out to be another zombie..."
He then digs/hauls the body out.

![]() |

I can't wait to go downstairs and see what have there! Droogie, stay with me.
The leopard goes close to Lini and stay alertness for any danger while they go through the passage.

DM Stylz |

A five-foot-wide, rickety rope bridge stretches fifteen feet from a small landing at the bottom of a set of stairs on the south side of the room across a twenty-foot-deep pit to another small landing on the north side of the room. The north landing has a solid wood door leading north, and the south landing has a set of stairs leading up to the west.

![]() |

Okay, seriously: Who draws these maps? What is their fascination with tiny, cramped spaces? Is this Paizo's feeble attempt to nerf reach weapons and ranged combat? I've got a feeling we're going to spend the rest of this adventure with one or two of us getting wasted by monsters while the rest are stuck on the damn stairs.
