With the War of Towers coming to Alpha, it is time I found a company to join. If you are a company looking for new members, why should I join your group? How many members do you have already? How active do you intend to be in the War of Towers?

Hi deinol,
Ozem's Vigil needs Wizards! We are slotted for fighter and cleric training (during the Tower Wars), but we have friends that cover all roles. If you are looking for a positive social organization, we might be a good fit. We are pro PVP but anti RPK. We want some meaning in our PVP. We are anti bandit, and killing for lols is anathema to us. We plan to be a stronghold for Law and Goodness in the north.
We are members of the Free Highlanders NAP and plan to expand that agreement as the game develops.
We would love to build our wizard core with an enthusiastic person that syncs with those values.

While it doesn't have much detail about companies goals and alignments yet, there is a fairly good list of companies and contacts on the second tab of the community guild spreadsheets here which anyone can edit.

Speaking as someone outside all the groups who've given you their names, I don't believe you can make a poor choice among them. They're also quite different from one another, so you have a spectrum of considerations.
If none feels like the "right" fit, though, please consider continuing your search. We have a lot of different "personalities" in our Settlements so far.

Kabal is a NG aligned company. We hold Stoneroot Glade Village in the NW and are part of the Free Highlanders Non-Aggression Pact. We train Wizards and Rogues. If I get approval from the Sun King, I will be leading the Sassy Mystics [ALMOST went Sassy Pants Mystics but who knows what we wear under our robes!]

I'm on my phone, can't provide links, but Cal's spreadsheet is gold. Also, check the political map that is out there, and Nihimon's company recruitment list thread. Take note of whether settlement is set up to train your role or has allies nearby who can do it if your willing to travel.

Just so you have a variety of information available here some information on Forgeholm, Home of the Dwarves in the River Kingdoms. We have three (3) companies active, but if the members wish to form up another company they are free to do so.
Deepforge Company is primarily a mining and metalsmithing company, but all members will be proficient in combat skills and will participate in PvP regularly. PM Gorim Goldhammer or Fanndis Goldbraid (that's me!) to join Deepforge.
The Lightbringer Company is dedicated to escalations, engineering and construction, and stonemasonry, although again all members will be proficient in PvP and will engage when needed. Contact Durin Steeleforge (or Giorgo) to join the Lightbringers.
Stonebrew Clan will not be crafting, but will be performing PvP and settlement defense exclusively. Contact Zaran Stonebrew or Maldimar Stonebrew to join the Stonebrew Clan.
Forgeholm is the home of the Dwarves, and encourage Dwarf friends and others, except half-orcs, to join Forgeholm.

Depending on what you want to do The Empyrean Order maybe the place for you.
Why should you join us? That totally depends on your play style and your moral compass. We have 6 sub-guilds that will be playing as companies, each focused on something specific: PvP, PvE, Scouting, Knowledge, Public Relations, or Trade/Crafting. We also adhere to certain ideals specifically in the Neutral Good alignment. Community, Justice and Protection are key concepts for us.
How many members do we already have? I don't have to exact number, but we are North of 200+.
How active do we intend to be in the WoT? Well, considering our numbers, we will most likely be very active, or at least somewhat active in terms of contested towers.
