Haste says you get a bonus attack with any weapon you are holding when you take the full attack action. Does that include natural attacks as well? Say, for example, I have 2 claws and a bite. While hasted, could I make 3 claws and a bite, or 2 claws and 2 bites?

I would think so, although the text of the spell does clearly state attacks with a weapon you are holding...could be the intent of the spell is not to allow an extra natural attack because those are often multiple in nature to begin with...?

Consider casting this on your party monk...whether she is using a staff, bo stick, or nunchaka (held weapon), or her fists and feet (imporoved unarmed attack, which I think is still a natural attack, BUT see below), most DMs would rule that she should get the extra attack if the does the full attack action.

Also, see the PRD, Universal Monster Rules, last paragraph under "natural attacks," for some interesting language that, maybe, confuses things about natural vs. unarmed attack, but might be worth your while.

Haste grants you one bonus attack, including natural attacks.

Well sure, but Full Attacks are often multiple (Iterative) in nature to begin with... I can't see how the intent isn't compatible with Natural Attacks, and certainly the rest of the effects apply to just about anything...

This was identical in 3.5, but I've always played it as applying to natural attacks, and it just feels like that's the intent. Maybe PRPG can actually fix the wording to be how it should, in this next Update...?

The intent of haste is that you can move faster and attack more. People under the effect of haste get 1 extra attack on a full attack round regardless whether it's ranged, natural or a melee weapon.

I think the only confusion would be because natural attacks normally don't get extra attacks for a high BAB. Still, in the case of Haste, I agree that it should grant one of the natural attacks another attack at the highest BAB. It's reflected this way in a few Pathfinder issues too, I know the most recent one I ran in The End of Eternity had an extra gore attack due to Haste.

Yeah, but nothing in Haste says the extra attack is connected to the Iterative Attack mechanic in the first place (besides that it specifies held weapons, which of course use Iterative Attacks, but it seems clear the consensus is Haste IS supposed to work with Natural Attacks despite the RAW to the contrary).

Oh, I know, and I think Haste should apply to natural attacks. All I meant was that, if there *was* any confusion, I guess I could see it being because of the whole natural attacks normally not allowed to have multiples. It's a stretch, but that's the only thing I can think of.

Again, I agree, Haste should give bonus natural attacks. :)
