Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

I've been making HEAVY use of these conversions and they are greatly appreciated.

Awesome job! Many, many thanks!

Liberty's Edge

Thanks mate. Made my job as a GM so much easier. I am using some of the iron kingdoms stuff for a player who is a cleric of Brigh, so the gunpowder mine was a great add on.

this is an amazingly well done job. thanks for this.

I'd like to echo the thanks for those who put so much work into these adaptations.

That being said, I'm a printed-on-paper kind of guy, so in preparation for running Kingmaker I've taken the first adaptation, copied it into a word document and formatted in a way that is printer-friendly so that I can print it off and have a hardcopy for my game days. I did leave everything intact, including notes, but made it a little easier for me personally to use. I'd be happy to share the document if others might find it helpful, but before I throw a PDF up for anyone to use, I'd like to make sure that's okay with the original authors. (After all, it's not my work!)

So, Alexander Kilcoyne, if you don't mind me sharing, let me know. Alternatively, if you'd like to have a look at the file before giving blank permission to it, tell me how I can get it to you for your approval.

Please feel free to provide the document here :).

To any staff members that read this- if you could edit my long post with all the links in to add Feegle's pdf link (I assume chapter 1) once he provides it that would be great.

The Exchange

Am loving these. I started VV this weekend. I have transcribed the redone creatures into Microsoft Word onto 5x8 index cards. This allows me to easily see each creature on one card. I am also redoing each one to format them into Microsoft Word. For I too like printed-on-paper copies.

I can post them if you want them.

Sovereign Court

Again, feel free. This was a community project so additions are welcome (will need staff to edit stuff in though as I can't do it myself).

Wow, that was fast. I hadn't actually expected approval so soon. I've actually only formatted parts 1 through 5; was planning on finishing part 6 early this week. (My group is still at least one full session out of going after the Stag Lord, so I haven't been in a rush for that.) Regardless, here's the link to the stuff I've got so far:

Stolen Lands

While most everything is still there, I removed all of the parts where no changes were necessary, just to save on printing costs. I also made slight rearrangements, so that the justification and reasoning for the changes were separated from the changes themselves.

Once I've finished formatting part six, I'll just update the file, so the link will remain the same, and I'll post here to say that it's done.

Oh, and AK, if you happen to peruse what I've done and object to any of the formatting choices or edits or whatever, let me know and I'll change it back. It is your work, after all. :)

Sovereign Court

I won't have time for any edits but I just had a skim through, very nicely formatted!

Just because I needed to procrastinate from those exams I was supposed to mark this afternoon, I finished up the rest of the formatting. I've replaced the file on my web server, so the link in my above message should serve just fine. Hope it's useful for everyone.

The Exchange

Okay so here is my collection of upgraded monsters/NPC's.

Stolen Lands Monsters

Sovereign Court

Nice! Now we just need some bait to lure a staff member in who can edit both of your works into the main post by me at the start...

The Exchange

Okay, so her is my collection of upgraded monsters/NPC's.

Rivers Run Red

I'm currently working on Varnhold Vanishing. I'll post them when I get them done.

Some of them are multiple pages, but you can either shrink the text or enlarge to fit how you want to print. I print them out on multiple pages so that I don't have to flip anything in the middle of combat.

@Feegle: I like your conversion btw. Clean, crisp and easy to read. If its okay with you, I think I'll do something similar for RRR and VV since I will be running groups through both soon.

Do they respond well to cookies? Because I can promise them cookies...

@Shieldknight You're welcome to it if you like, though I can tell you that I'm about halfway through RRR as it is. Gimme a week or so of procrastinating my end-of-year grading, and I should be finished both RRR and VV. At this point, now that I have my templates set up in Word, it's really fast for me to zip through them. (I got halfway through RRR in about forty minutes this afternoon.)

I'm actually still only half-way through chapter 6. I got married, then totally forgot. :P

What's been done so far can be found here: link

I'll give it its own post when done too.

My own game just reached chapter 4, though I didn't get to run the 6 player Vordakai fight because two of my players were away. Funnily enough they didn't have as much trouble with Vordakai as they did with the daemon and the elemental. XD

I've heard cookies can go a long way in getting Paizo staff to do things for you.

Beautiful! Good news for all! Don't suppose you'd be willing to share your template? I plan on running other AP's after I'm done with Kingmaker and the look of your template is easy on the eyes and would be really nice to have for the other AP's when I convert them to 6 players. Even if I'm using a public conversion, I could transfer everything to your template. Great job BTW!

awesome stuff!!! this is making my life so much easier.
can't wait for the pdfs!

I actually have loads of materials on a forgotten realms conversion for Kingmaker with a Zhent twist - including photoshopped kingdom map, extra regional npcs, and regional armies. Oh yeah and images for everything in the story.

Kingmaker chapter 6 for 6 players

Done!
...

Almost. All that's left is the Knurly Witch. I wanted to redo her as a Witch, but I'm really not that familiar with the class, so I'm going to just do her as a cleric as presented. If someone else could whip up a block of her as a witch I'd be much obliged. ;)

Muftiman - Sounds quite interesting. You should publish it on Google Docs, you get 1GB of space on there.

Dark Archive

Thank you General Chaos! Much appreciated!

A topic was put up in website feedback but wasn't responded to. Can a staff member please edit the 6th chapter and the other links requested into my main post further up the thread (if that is possible)?

The Exchange

I've become pretty familiar with the Witch class. I have one player who's PC is a witch and I have converted the Old Beldame to witch as well. I can take a look at this later this week. I'll give it a shot and post a conversion as soon as I get it done.

I have been teaching for 12 years, and I have NEVER had this crazy a school year closing. Wow.

Finally finished Rivers Run Red. Link below. I'm also going to bump my post in the Website Feedback forum with the hope that we can get those links updated.

Okay, here she is. Let me know what changes or additions you would like. Tried to keep with the Destruction/Madness theme. I realized after I printed it that I didn't pick any spells yet. I will try to do that tonight yet and repost.

First I wanted to say thanks to everybody for all their hard work on these conversions and the PDF formatting... excellent work!

Quick question... are the other chapters being worked on as far as formatting goes?

For the complete PDFs, yes. I am very close to finishing Varnhold Vanishing, but it's been put on hold by my job teaching summer school. I should have it done by the end of the month at the latest, but if I manage to pry an hour or two of free time out of the clutches of breakneck-pace grading and teaching, I may finish it sooner.

I am personally in no hurry to do chapters 4 through 6 - my players haven't even killed the Stag Lord yet, so they're several months off of the later modules. However, I'll have to do it eventually, and so if anyone here REALLY wants it done sooner, I could be convinced. It wouldn't even take any cookies.

No rush here... my players are still on the first module of the AP also. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss them. Thanks again for all the hard work!

Anyone know if there's been a 6-player conversion of the modules that are generally recommended for inclusion in a KM game (Carnival of Tears and Realm of the Fellnight Queen, IIRC)?

I'll put in my vote for VV. I am running two groups through Kingmaker, one just finished Stolen Lands and the other just started Varnhold Vanishing.

Great work btw!
