I'm not sure if my current campaign will end in time. :,( We've been on the first combat encounter for two weeks now. You might need to replace me.
Do you know if I can play a pregen and apply the credit and boons to Alice 002? Or does Alice 002 have to currently not be in any games?
Player name: Carol S
SFS # & Character Number: 239343-701
Character name: Alice 002

Carol, you can also just create a new level 1 character for this game.
Here's my info!
Paizo Handle: bigboom
SFS # 194657-703
Character Name: Arratoi
I'll slot boons after the briefing

Hello everyone! Xyklik is on the last fight of the Incident at Absalom Station, so he should be ready by March 5th. Well, that is if he doesn't get turned to space paste during the fight.
I can't find the post by Compton, but IIRC you can assign a chronicle from a pregen or GM credit to a character even if they're in a game. The chronicle simply does not get applied to the character (i.e. they gain the benefits of it) until after their current game is done. I'll see if I can find that post.
Here is my info:
Paizo Handle: Dystopiandream
SFS#: 234492-701
Character Name: Xyklik

Blake, may I make a small request? If you prefer not, then it's no problem at all.
But if you don't mind, can you move the scenario description for this campaign from the 'short description' field to the 'full description' field? I ask only because the large amount of text floods my screen when I view my campaign listings on my phone, making it somewhat difficult to read.
Thank you!!

Player Name or Paizo Handle: Greg Rebelo / Upaynao
SFS # & Character Number: 43451-701
Character Name: Da'at
I am still working my way through 1-03. I am unsure as to whether we will be good to go by the 5th. If that poses a problem, I'll cede my seat to someone else.
I will also inquire with my GM to find out where we stand overall insofar as the scenario is concerned.

![]() |

Quick follow-up: I've talked with my GM, it looks like as long as we do not tarry we'll finish for the beginning of Outpost. So onward I go!

Player Name or Paizo Handle Steve Weston
SFS # & Character Number #260381-701
Character Name Stiehle Darkwing
I will slot boons after the briefing.
Looking forward to the game! :)

Player Name or Paizo Handle YinYang1st
SFS # & Character Number #266085-701
Character Name Silveras "Silver" Vazinus
Currently I am level 3, but after the 27th, I will be level 4 since I'll be playing 1-04. Once I receive my chronicle for 1-04, I'll update my stats on the forum to reflect the level up.
My boons are basically perpetually slotted on my character page, so unless the briefing includes something that makes me want to change my slotted boons, you can expect the boons on my page to be the ones slotted for the adventure. So effectively, I'll be slotting after the briefing. I also have the Record Keeper Promotional Boon slotted, I can send a photo of the Player Character Folio if you need me to prove I own it.
Also, since the APL looks to be 2.5, would we terribly mind rounding that up to 3? I'd like to maximize credit rewards, if that's alright with everyone.
I look forward to playing with everyone.
Oh hey, bigboom. Fancy meeting you here.

Also, since the APL looks to be 2.5, would we terribly mind rounding that up to 3? I'd like to maximize credit rewards, if that's alright with everyone.
I'm not a fan; simply because that's usually how I've ended up almost dying or dying. That was PFS mind you. Perhaps SFS is more forgiving. GM, do you have any words of wisdom to share with us?

![]() |

Depending on if we get a replacement and what level they are, it may not matter. But, if it's any consolation, I've built myself to be heavy support and healing. So unless someone takes massive damage per the CRB, I should be able to keep everyone alive. I've got SP and HP healing.

GM Blake |

My experience playing is that SFS is less forgiving than PFS. However, the subtiers are closer together, so it may not be that bad.
I've only played this at 1-2 and just received the scenario. If I have a different opinion after preparing, I'll let you know.

![]() |

So I have a 1.2 Ghost Operative or a brand new Soldier. Which would you guys rather have?

![]() |

It looks like we have 2 soldiers in the group already, so the operative might be better, also considering there might be a fair bit of socializing at this event.

GM Blake |

To answer the earlier question: my review of this scenario is that a predominantly subtier 1-2 party would lose a war of attrition with the challenges in subtier 3-4.

![]() |

So to determine the APL, I believe the following is correct:
Xyklik: Level 2
Da'at: Level 1
Stiehle: Level 3
Silver: Level 4
Y2K: Level 2
Arratoi: Level 2
Total = 14, APL = 14/6 = 2.3
If Da'at is actually at level 2, then total = 15. APL = 15/6 = 2.5
If we're at APL 2.5, given GM Blake's evaluation, I'd lean towards low tier given that 4 out of 6 characters are at level 2. But if our front-liners are feeling confident, then I'm fine with playing high tier. Arratoi is squishy and isn't very combat-oriented, so would generally hide in the back behind everyone else, especially in high tier.

GM Blake |

No one hit is likely to take anyone out, but there's a lot of HP in subtier 3-4 to slog through.

![]() |

I am level 2! And ready to rock and roll.

![]() |

Stiehle is not a front-line fighter and doesn't yet deal much damage (I'll get better next level), so I'll allow those taking the biggest risks to decide high or low tier. For the record, I'm fine with either.

![]() |

Since I suggested it, I'm obviously in favor of rounding up, but I will defer to majority rule because I'd rather everyone have fun.
It should be noted that I'm almost exclusively healing and support. I'm pretty alright at landing shots, but they'll likely be nonlethal and won't even do a huge amount of damage even if I do land the shot.

![]() |

The main obstacle I see is not enough damage. The majority of tier 3-4 characters are assumed to have weapon specialization, which only one of us has. That being the case, and with GM Blake's advisement on the hp, I don't recommend we play up.

GM Blake |

OK. We are now locked at Subtier 1-2 by consensus.
The lack of Weapon Specialization would definitely have hurt, and I rather dread how long combat would have taken with you guys chipping at the bags of HP.
I will post the introduction, and then you guys can slot boons, if you have not yet.

Hey guys, I've been hit with a big uptick in baby rearing duties for the next several days. Therefore my posting frequency will go down a bit from what it usually is between now and Sunday. However, things should be back to normal for me afterwards. Please go ahead and bot me if needed!

GM Blake |

FYI: You have completed the primary success condition.
Given how long PbP lasts, I thought you might like to know that all your hard RPing is paying off. :)

![]() |

Me too Arratoi, though thankfully I'm done with that phase. Only to migrate into the 'kids going to college' phase. Good God...
Thanks GM Blake! I love how pbp promotes roleplay and the story, it's actually my preferred style of gaming, despite the patience required. And actually, I've found the games here on the Paizo board go VERY fast relative to the board where I've played for about two decades.

![]() |

Rerolls allowed now? I don't have a shirt, but do have a Folio - though last I'd heard that didn't allow a reroll, I don't think. Not sure if it changed.

![]() |

For SFS, folios don't give rerolls, but the shirts do. At least that's what I understood.

![]() |

Hey guys, I'll be travelling for the next couple days. So there's a chance my posting rate will slow down but afterwards I should be back to normal! In the meantime, please bot me if needed: As a move action, will keep putting get 'em on red then yellow after red goes down. As a standard action, will fire my rifle or throw stamina healing at people if needed.

GM Blake |

I apologize. I completely skipped you guys in my rounds yesterday. I'll do you first, now.

GM Blake |

Now is the time for Day Job rolls if you have them.
Table Boon Randomization
Per Outpost Instructions, 1 or 20 is a winner.

Congrats GM, and thanks for the game! Was very enjoyable (despite my bad luck on rolls!) :)
Profession (Vidgamer) DRR: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

Thanks for the game. That was fun!
Now that the scenario is over, can you reveal what was on the computer?

Triloteya's list of targets, including Luwazi's name and "today's" date. You also missed--not that you needed it--the discarded instructions for the bombs that would has given you +2 vs. disarming them,
