(PF2) Tarnbreaker's Trail w / Risks and Rewards Playtest

Recruitment

Hello!

Hours ago the Risks and Rewards Playtest began for the (new) Daredevil and Slayer classes. I will be recruiting for a run of the season one repeatable (#1-14) "Lions of Katapesh" with 4-5 total players. This is not a FCFS game (I tend to recruit from those that have GMed for me as well as players I have enjoyed playing alongside), and will be run as a bit of a "speed run" to focus on the mechanics of the classes during skill challenges and in encounter mode. As I'd like to run the playtest material alongside other classes, I'm going to shoot for:

☆) One Daredevil
☆) One Slayer
☆) Two to three other classes (probably other martials)

Apply below with the PFS character you'd like to bring.

Ooo. Love to play the slayer in this!

Sovereign Court

I'll roll up a Daredevil. Thanks for the playtest offer!

Do I need to create a new PFS 2e PC or will credit apply to one of my existing Tier 1-2 PCs?

Horizon Hunters

I'll throw in Scripio to help compare the Slayer against the Thaumaturge.

Silver Crusade

Would another Daredevil be helpful? A halfling?

Liberty's Edge

I'm keen to try the slayer! Otherwise I have a level 1 rogue or level 1 barbarian to bring along.

Rainex-Would you prefer the playtest characters at 1st or 3rd level?

How does this work though? Do we get PFS credit for non-playtest PCs?

I was going to test drive my Lvl 1 Spellshot gunslinger to see if I like playing the class...

This Human Daredevil 1 is ready to go!

I read up on the playtest rules, and they are letting us create brand new 1st level PFS 2e PCs as part of the playtest. We just take these PCs in games as normal, and then after a while we fill a feedback form to tell them how we liked it, disliked it and if we have suggestions.

When the book comes out in 2027 we then get a complete rebuild to make them legit with any changes they will make to the class based on the playtest.

I wanna do it by the book. If PDK has the right of it, then that's what it is.

Edit: Update

=)

Re-Opening Recruitment

Going to run a 2nd Scenario: #1-10 "Tarnbreaker's Trail" (1st-4th level, will be skewing low tier, ideally 1st/2nd tops).

Our Daredevil player has stepped down so there may be a Daredevil slot opened up!

Other (martial) characters welcome to Apply.

=)

Verdant Wheel

Henit is no daredevil, but, he can be a smart artillery.

Horizon Hunters

I just finished building this Kholo Daredevil. Would be happy to step into the rink with him if there's room.

Recruitment Closed.

I need to GM one less game, so am going to shelve the recruitment here.

=)

Horizon Hunters

Darn, oh well. Best gaming all.
