Insightful Scroll Case

Seeking input on what would be a fair price for an Insightful Scroll Case that gives the bearer a +5 bonus to Caster Level checks to activate the scrolls held within the case.

Note: Not a bonus to the CL of the scroll. Just a bonus to activate the scroll, making it easier to cast higher-level scrolls

In addition to its current abilities and price... I'd use the basic cost for skills as it's only stored scrolls rather than 150% cost for skill bonuses.

second, there needs to be a SplLvl limit per day for how many scrolls can be activated (like 50 SplLvls/day). The item is too open to abuse otherwise.

just a note, in my games this item (the one linked, not the one the op is trying to price) is changed to hold a maximum of 5 spells and not 5 scrolls, since by raw a scroll can have any number of spells scribed on it (you just make it longer) and this would allow a ridiculous number of spells, all to be inside the case even on one scroll, and allow casting of any of the spells within.

Limiting to only 5 spells held within certainly sounds reasonable

If I were pricing it, I'd place the total market value around 7,500gp for giving the +5 to caster level checks to activate the scrolls stored inside. It would be more since the item is a slotless magic item but since it is only useful for activating the scrolls, I'd call it a wash.

If you wanted to give the scroll charges that can be used to give the caster level a boost a certain number of times per day, such as 5 times per day, I'd knock off some of the price and make the scroll case cost 6,500gp instead.
