Getting TEMU versions of the Ranger (Slayer) and Rogue (Daredevil) doesn't seem like a good idea either, versus expanding the classes even more.
It may not be your jam, and they're not especially mine unless the rework gives Slayer a glow-up, but new classes are an important part of the "Paizo staying in business" side of things. You can't trade those out for class expansion. I think the competition is more along the lines of "one new element instead of three class archetypes".
I suppose we're a little far afield of Impossible Magic, so I will say that even if Slayer doesn't solve the hangups I personally had, I'm glad that Necromancer is the same sort of many-characters class for me that Kineticist was. I will be using it for a while.

So you guys are just gonna accept that the Lost Omens erased all aetherkineticists and chaokineticists from the face of Golarion, despite reports of them still existing?
I'd remind you all that Void and Wood were added in later books back in P1E after Occult Adventures was published.
Just because something isn't playable doesn't mean it no longer exists, unless you believe all the Ninjas and Samurai in setting died of sudden heart attacks when Paizo said they're not bringing them back.
Also, Paizo aren't sitting in their office maniaically rubbing their hands thinking "hehehe we're never going to release kineticist feats". A lot of your comments are operating under the assumption that Paizo are doing this with almost malicious intent.
I think it's pretty obvious why we haven't got new elements, and that's that because they are a lot of effort and page space. You have to print several feats for each level, potentially 6 composite feats, and various other auxiliary things. It's not like say, a barbarian instinct which is pretty short and easy to include. You said yourself it's "15-16 feats" like that isn't more than most archtypes.
As for why there's not been new feats for elements that already exist (disregarding the AP ones) we can say the same thing for most classes. This isn't personal and it isn't exclusive to kineticst.
