[POSSIBLE SPOILERS] Uses for Unmentioned Skills?

Kingmaker

Hey Guys, just wanted some opinions on the uses of some skills in Kingmaker, and to find out if anyone else has found any.

As Mentioned in This Post I am using Profession: Cartography for Exploring Hexes. The DC Will be the Same as the "Getting Lost" DC's found on page 424 of the PFHB.

Knowledge: Engineering: Im using this a a way for players to be able to look at structures and decide wether they would be useful in there buildings Such as the Abandoned keep, or the temple of the Elk. This way they will know if its useful and if it will give it to them free, or at half cost, etc, and not be guessing. I set the DC for this at 25.

Anyone else come up with any other abstract skill uses??

Sovereign Court

It'd be Profession: Cartographer and that skill would allow you to earn money as a map maker.

Craft: Cartography (or Craft: Maps) would allow the players to make a map of varying quality given some time.

I'd use survival for any kind of exploration though, or perception. They're much more in line with existing rules and are much more likely to see most players putting valuable skill points into.

The Exchange

One of my players thought to add Profession: Siege Engineer to his Cavalier (Order of the Cockatrice). Apparently he has long term plans for him before playing KM was an option. This will have positive repercussions.

Spoiler:

DM rule #12: There is no such thing as rewards or punishments, only consequences.

Herbalist is an old favorite, and I think miner, lumberjack, and farmer might fit in given the NPCs mentioned so far.
