Are the PDFs of these available somewhere? I have not been able to find either

I read they'll be made available sometime around / after GenCon, if I remember correctly.

I played in this scenario a few weeks ago and would like to share a bit of my experience with it.

Background: I'm fairly new to Starfinder 2e. That session was only my second time playing in SF2 Organized Play. Originally I had bought SF1e nearly a decade ago but despite that group's love for Pathfinder 1e, but never could get my group back then to play it. I then had a long break from ttrpgs and recently came back to the hobby. I have bought and read most of the SF2e book line, in anticipation of running these games myself. (Exception being most of the Society Scenarios, for now.) So, admittedly I'm pretty much considered to be a newb.

Admittedly, I did see those product reviews for #1-17 (but not this thread) before playing the session and thus was a bit concerned of a TPK.

This ship combat was quite suspenseful and almost getting one shotted on round 2 was still an eye-opener despite kinda expecting it. There were 5 players, including myself. We heavily used our Hero Points in the this early part of the scenario.

I found it extremely helpful that the GM had printed out copies for each player the crew actions page. We figured a pattern to recover and did eventually disable the other ship after several rounds. We each usually round-robin-ed an aid role with our remaining action point, as everyone happened to have at least one skill that they could use to aid another and a few also had applicable secondary skills to allow a few of the characters to switch ship roles when needed and still aid. Perhaps repetitive, but it worked.

Having read this thread, I think that it would have been good to have reviewed or had a hand out of what the GM Core has about single actions available for this kind of ship combat or tips on applicable character abilities.

Interestingly, the other players in this last session, most of whom are veteran 1e players & GMs and also 2e play-testers, expressed at the end of the session that their experience was positive and they were receptive to these ship combat rules over their experience with 1e ship combat, despite the close call we just had.

Of course I don't know what tweaks the GM had made but I think they are at least a little active here in these forums, I'll message them that this thread exists and see if they'd like to share any input and experience on that session concerning this scenario.

It was: https://store.paizo.com/sales/ but now no longer says the 12th, but updated to Extended. Thanks!

Is there an update when the sale ends, store site still says this sale ended on the 12th :D

There were 6 map products missing their image files at that time. On Jan. 15th, Mark mentioned the issue was getting worked on. By early February I noticed Forest, Mythos Dungeon, and Town Square JPGs appeared in my library. (Though Town Square still has a different technical issue, reported here.) But everyone who participated in that bundle is still missing their images for Flip-Tiles Forest Starter Set, Flip Tiles Forest Perils Expansion, and Watch Station.

Mark, do you have any updated information on the progress for resolving this?

I purchased several physical flip maps from the Paizo store during the current sale & noticed most of them also appeared in my digital content library and most came with JPGs in addition to the PDFs. But there was one that didn't, which was Starfinder Urban Sprawl. Technically two, Pathfinder Basic Terrains Pack, but having those plain and featureless maps as JPGs would be kinda needless, IMHO.

I think there are quite a few things to be justified in being frustrated with Paizo about these last several months, but the prices the shipping companies are charging everyone are not one of them.

I ordered 8 maps, plus a few smaller items Friday. Was given a wide variety of shipping options and I chose the cheapest UPS shipping within the states. I live on opposite end of the country from where this is being shipped from and the shipping was just barely $23.00. There were little difference in this price when I just had 5 items in the cart, because weight and volume is measured in groups.

If you go to UPS's calculator site, plug in the the same info, the shipping is about $3.00 more... which makes since because Paizo more than likely has an account with UPS and gets a discount for their routine business. Paizo are demonstrably passing that savings to their customers. (And don't forget to take into account that Paizo are also paying their employees to pick and pack this stuff to get it ready to ship to you.)

You need to take in consideration when you vent your frustrations onto folks that are not actually the cause of your woes. And you are bemoaning that you paid $25.27 instead of $42.00 at a place like Amazon.com? (Funnier still, if you look at who the primary, 1st result seller of a majority of the maps there, usually the 3rd party selling them is PAIZO!)

Reviews appear to be broken currently.

My bad, I see this was reported by Zoomba already.

Since yesterday, product reviews are no longer displaying for individual items but instead pooling every review across all products and giving an average rating based on that.

And this is also no longer giving the means to leave a review. (So no ability to accrue Paizo Gold.)

The new site handles coupon codes, why can't there be one generated for Paizo store purchases of FVTT products for when you already own the PDF?

Or at the very least, a 'Google Forms' type of web page where a customer fills out which goes to support who can then add the coupon to the account while the web dev stuff is getting worked out.

I'm finding that the store pages for FVTT Monster Core 2 Tokens and FVTT Alien Core Tokens are giving a me a notification that I had purchased these items and that they are in my library, when I actually have not. I do, however, own all of those versions that are the PDF of those books they are based on. Dates purchased being shown in the store page and the PDFs in my library are the same, so the system is mistaking which product it is. (Note FVTT Monster Core Tokens [the 1st set] is not doing this.)

(My hopes were dashed to find they were not actually mistakenly added to my library too, alas no freebees this time! :P )

Most because im lame and have been checking for the past 2 weeks just in case, also the links for players guides follow the same pattern: https://downloads.paizo.com/AdventurePathNameHere_PlayersGuide.pdf

Thanks for this!

(Though with Outlaws of Alkenstar I still couldn't get this to work and the landing page still has the old link that 404s, https://store.paizo.com/pathfinder/pathfinder-second-edition/adventure-path s/outlaws-of-alkenstar/)

A) Bring back the email notifications that alert people when a download in their library has been updated and describe what has been changed.
B) Fix the Library page so that sorting by "Last Updated" actually sorts by the last updated date, at least in my library it just puts things into a seemingly arbitrary order.

... many downloads having been marked as updated despite no apparent update having actually been made still persists)

Seconded!

I noticed the GM Core and Player Core 'updated' in my library a few weeks ago, but looking them over I couldn't tell the difference between those and what I already had. (like same well known errata still existing in both, etc.)

For both the Troubles in Otari Print and PDF pages, the links in the description for the Troubles in Otari Flip Map either throws the 404 error or goes to the default landing page instead of the product page referenced.

Also can't find a page for the physical mat itself, is it out of print?

Page for the PDF version.

The adventure is "The Matchmakers" (from Dungeon #7).

I would like to point out that was a very early issue, which was published decades before Paizo was contracted out to do Wizards of the Coast magazines. Actually pre WotC ownership by many years.

Outside of piracy, which I do not condone, finding a used physical back issue might be you best bet, though it likely will be pricey as it is a collector's item.

Echoing this, especially since I'm considering skipping the remastered Guns N Gears (I don't really need two copies of very similar books), but I don't know if that'll be in the Jan 20th shipment or not.

Guns N Gears Remastered been available for almost a year now, it wouldn't be in the next shipment anyway.

Most of the Free RPG Day items have a listing in the store for the physical version, and the description page of each of those then includes a link to download the free, unwatermarked, PDF version.

However, there are a few Free RPG Day releases, including at least A Fistful of Flowers and Starfinder First Contact, which do not have any store listing page and which I've therefore been unable to find a link to the digital version of.

"We Be Heroes?" is another one, the page even advertises the download but there is no actual link.

Alright, decided to get this humble bundle as well.

Please don't require people to add a phone number. Some of us don't want to be called at random times. Some of us don't want to be called at all. If things get too complicated for e-mails, support and customer can still agree to call each other.

I recall it was only during the payment checkout that there was a field asking for a phone number, which 1.) is at the Humble Bundle site, not Paizo., 2.) Which is actually the payment processor asking for this, so not even H.B., 3.) Sites asking for a phone number is fairly standard if shipping is involved (at least it is in the US and this bundle does have a shipped item at its highest tier., 4.) and I'm pretty sure when I made this purchase a few weeks ago and picked a digital only tier, that I didn't bother to put in a phone number and my order was still processed.

Also can you please clearly label your Version 2 - REMASTERED books. It should be on the front cover, not having to search through copious description text to garner whether a book is implied as ORC friendly and therefore remastered or not.

I share many of the same frustrations you have, especially the current state in having to manage the files and downloader... though I do want to point out that all the remastered books have a forest green backgrounded "Second Edition" label on their covers, at the top right, where as all the legacy 2e books this label this was a golden/yellow color. (Uh, actually it is 'parchment'.)

Missing Paragraph in both 2e Pathfinder & Starfinder GM Core pg. 24

I'm fairly sure I have found a significant error with both the Pathfinder and Starfinder GM Core rulebooks.
My sources are the most recently available PDF versions, downloaded in the last couple of weeks.
On page 24 on both books, the section on "Running Encounters" seems to be missing a starting paragraph, under the subheading. Just in the reading comprehension of it, something seems off. Plus the lack of indention for "Stakes:" is another indicator, and this is in both books.
If you check the following sections for "Running Exploration" and "Running Downtime", those sections in both books do have a paragraph before their respective "Stakes", "Time Scale", and "Actions and Reactions" paragraphs.

Just a guess on my part, but if they are out of stock on this and not bringing it back is because there is a new version in the works. https://store.paizo.com/pathfinder-beginner-box-new/

That's likely because its not out yet. As I recall, they're holding off on releasing the Foundry module until the standalone SF2 module releases.

Whats throwing me off in this regards, is other things yet to be released say so under the price before the description. Like: https://store.paizo.com/starfinder-galactic-ancestries/

Plus I'm pretty sure I was able to add it to the cart during the last sale when the new site launched, but I ended up switching it with the SF2e Playtest Bundle instead. Perhaps that was a an error with the new site...

Idk if this should go in the bug report thread or not, but I keep checking the store for the Black Friday-Cyber Monday sales and I keep seeing everything still at its regular price. Also seems like yesterday's Lore sale just straight up didn't happen or just disappeared. Been hoping to get some adventures today in PDF so hopefully if this is an issue, it gets fixed soon.

The discount appears once the item is in the cart. With that said, not ideal in my opinion.

From my own sample of 'window shopping', PDFs of Monster Core 2 and Howl of the Wild Remaster are 30% off. Pathfinder Tokens: Character Gallery for FVTT is 25% off. Surprisingly and disappointingly the Pathfinder Basic Box Set for FVTT is not discounted. (Considering there is going to be a new basic box supposedly coming in Feb.)

The option to add to cart the Starfinder Murder in Metal City - Foundry Version is not there. (Just button to add to Wishlist) I'm signed in and can add other FVTT products like the SF tokens.

Starfinder Player Core pg. 122.

I noticed under the Sample Mystic section it is missing a cantrip in the example repertoire. Four are listed, but there should be five: one is from the Healing Connection's cantrip = Stabilize, Plus four that is usually player chosen... But here is instead three. (Daze, Eldritch Lance, and Guidance)

My recommendation is: Prestidigitation, for a healer based Mystic to have the means tidy and clean an area before use of Medicine skill Treat Disease or Wound actions.
