Is one better than the other in some way? What is the difference? I'm finding it would be useful to have class specific character sheets now with things like playing a rogue and needing to remember all the skill increases and skill feats they get.

The advanced character sheet pack contains sheets for the classes from the advanced players guide.
Unless I'm mistaken though, the character sheets are all pre-remaster, so you might find there's some discontinity between the sheets and the modern remastered rules. (Assuming you're using the remastered rules, that is).
Are there any free custom class sheets out there for re-master?
Have these sheets been altered / updated since the Remaster or do they still reflect pre-Player Core 1 and pre-Player Core 2 options?

To answer this officially, no, we do not yet have a set of custom class character sheets like the ones in the Pathfinder Character Sheet Pack or the ones in the Pathfinder Advanced Player's Guide Character Sheet Pack that have been Remastered. But, it's good to know that's something you all would want! Suffice it to say, in my research on this, I've put it on the team's radar.

I would absolutely love to have updated versions of these -- I still make all my characters on paper, and these are my preferred character sheets.

Yes, same for me! Love the idea of class-specific character sheets, but now that a lot of classes have been rejiggered, their usefulness has been diminished.

Thank you! And please remind the team that larger open white spaces for writing in chosen feats/abilities is what made the 2E character sheets SOOOO much better than the overly-designed first edition sheets that had small open spaces framed by dark backdrop elements. Remastered sheets starting from the the 2E change will help those of us who like to write in ALL the important details.

Thanks for all your feedback here! It has been passed to the team. Also, in researching this for you all, I found that the iconics pre-gen sheets on the main Pathfinder website page were the old legacy pre-gen sheets, and NOT the Remastered pre-gen sheets. This will soon get fixed so that the iconic Remastered pre-gens are on the main site and not buried somewhere. Hooray for adjacent solutions!
For the matter at hand, I've let them know that custom class sheets for Remastered material is a thing that's wanted!
