Hi there.
I'm planning to run a series of table to relive the history of the PFS starting from the very beginning. Since during "ye olden days" of Season 0 there weren't really tags I'm trying to understand which of the scenarios which are still legal to run I should bring to the tables.
On this wiki page the only one noted to be part of a greater narrative is Among the Living, and I know that Mists of Mwangi is important too. Someone told me Silent Tide and The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch are relevant too, but if someon could tell me if there are other scenarios I shouldn't miss I'd be very grateful.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Here's few that introduce NPCs you'll meet again later:
Black Waters
Murder on the Silken Caravan
The Frozen Fingers of Midnight
Others:
King Xeros of Old Azlant has a very distant sequel in Starfinder.

Very minor one: To Scale the Dragon has a very minor tie-in, but can easily be skipped.
Other than that, Fingerprints of the Fiend is the first in a loose three-parter.
Tide of Morning has a spiritual sequel in Tide of Twilight, but they're not super connected.
And personally, Our Lady of Silver is probably my favourite PFS scenario ever, though opinions may differ.

hmmmm... as it is PFS I'd review the policy as after you finish the PF1 section you'd have to convert the PCs to PF2. I don't even know if that's doable.
→PF1 Season 0
Season 0 covers 2 years as they were no sure how to number things. There are 4 main issues; early PF1 was like D&D 3.5 with harder encounters or effectively higher CRs, there were clearly "out of tier" encounters, almost all of the encounters are melee centric, "boxed text" railroading was common.
Mists of Mwangi(Blakros series), Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch(GM Torch series). Maybe Fingeprints of the Fiend, Tide of Morning. The rest you can skip.
You really need Pathfinder Society Scenario Intro 1: First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore, then The Confirmation.

I'm going to run them for PFS1, no conversion.
S0 covers a single year, but at the time there weren't really "seasons" and S1 numbered its scenarios following those from S0 (considered "playtest"). It's more like S0 was a prelude to S1 to see if the whole PFS thing would work.
Intro 1: First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore isn't playable at all, as it's been retired. I'm going to run The Confirmation for sure though, probably more than once even.

okay. Not really what I was addressing as this is the PFS forum and I assume you are running under PFS or PFS Campaign Mode(if they even still have it).
...First Steps: 2 & 3 are retired, not 1.
besides that - have fun.

Yeah, sorry, misread that. Anyway I'm going to run the scenarios for whomever wants to play, so no issue with different characters, even from one edition to the other.
As for In Service to Lore it was marked as retired on the wiki's list, I've corrected that mistake, thank you.
