Not going to comment about specific recommendations regarding which talismans might be particularly useful, but the dedication feat grants you all the formulas for common talismans of your level or below.
For formulas for uncommon or rare talismans, I'd imagine that GMs would generally impose similar access restrictions between the talismans and the formula (for those that have them, anyway; like, the "Emergency Disguise" talisman is uncommon with access listed as "Member of the Pathfinder Society operating out of Woodsedge Lodge", so you'd think that would suffice for the formula, too).
For uncommon or rare talismans that don't have explicit access criteria, GM fiat, although ofc. there are locations with certain guidance (e.g. Absalom; "Items that would normally be considered uncommon are instead considered common while within the city walls. Some uncommon items, such as those created by specific organizations or hailing from remote regions, might still remain uncommon at the GM’s discretion.").

I am in the city of Absalom!
Best watch your coin purse than. Absalom is a big and dangerous place.
As for Talismans, there are many! A word of caution though. Spellhearts and talismans share the same slots, so explore ones that typically don't fit on a weapon or armor slot if you are using them. The one that grants 'safe falls' is one of my favorites to keep on my person at all times.

It seems like there are very few good talismans
I wouldn't say that. They are easy items to give away as a GM without doing any lasting damage to the "total treasure" guideline, since they are one and done.
For example, at lower levels a caster and a melee (minus fighter) will have the same chance to hit with a weapon. Imagine having some organization give it's new members a small set of predators claws or potency crystals. Let's everyone feel powerful for an important hit. Or if you're trying to encourage tactics, give them some wolf fangs as well to incentive tripping.
Or if the party is going to be doing some dangerous activities near a cliff, give them a few jade cats as a safety measures.
Treat them as the consumables they are. Interesting effects. Used to give you an edge in a situation you are predicting could come up.

I just turned level 12 as a Bard and I took the Talisman Dabbler Archetype. I can now make two talismans with an item level of 6 or lower. Could anyone recommend some good ones to make?
You can't make it yet, but if you have anything that is powered off Performance (like Lingering or Fortissimo), Orchestral Broach is really strong. I think you can make it at level 16.
Retrieval Prisms are handy for an item that might need to be retrieved quickly, like a scroll.
The real hard part about Talismans is the sheer quantity of them makes it hard to find what you want. Its a bloated list with a lot of very specialized things. There's a big list here, but I don't know how up to date it is.
Also it says I must know the formula how do I go about knowing the formula?
Note that Talisman Dabbler says this: "You can craft talismans and know the formulas for all common talismans of your level or lower." So you already have those ones. (If you didn't, for common items, you can usually buy the formula. You can also reverse engineer it from an existing item.)
For uncommon/rare ones, its up to the GM if they are available to you at all and how you'd want to access them. Personally I like to have them hidden in out of the way places or as a quest reward from some NPC that knows it and wants a favor in exchange for the knowledge.
