Been looking to learn more about 5e, mainly if it is a ‘simple’ game you have in mind (simple meaning no half aasimar/half troll/half angel Cleric/Fighter Half cat-monk hijinks kinda things hahaha).
At this time, we are only using the 2024 core book. We just switched over to try it out, so many of us are learning these rules too.

I've been running an in-person game with the new rules since the new PHB came out and have been incorporating the new DMG/Monster stat blocks/MM as they have come available, but would welcome an opportunity to see it from the player side.

I haven't really dipped my toes in the pbp world, but I've been checking these forums out again lately. I'm in the same boat as Talomyr, been running a 2024 ruleset game for the past few weeks but I'd love the chance to give it a run as a player if you've room.

I was an active player in these forums a while ago, though life made me have to abandon my activity. Not long ago, I started combing here and there for some new games, and specifically 5e games, since I again have some spare time.
I am limiting myself to 1 or 2 games at most, to avoid burn out and due to time constrains.
I know I'm a bit late on this, but I would be interested in knowing a bit more.
