PFS wealth-by-level chart? Also, 6th level PFS character load out?

Advice

Does anyone know if there is a PFS-specific wealth-by-level chart somewhere? I tried searching for it but the closest I could find was on Archives of Nethys, but that one is not PFS specific and I seem to recall that wealth in PFS was a bit behind the curve on average.
Also, I'm building a 6th level PFS Barbarian and I need to know what is an appropriate load out at that level... Can I choose magic items of my level or lower all willy nilly, or is there some rails I need to follow that would limit my choices?

Why are you just ... building ... a 6th level PFS character?

For your own characters you build them as 1st level characters and play them from there.

You can play a 6th level adventure using a pregen, but you don't build those. That is why they are called pregen characters.

One of the rare dev posts confirmed that they (now) tell AP writers to double the gold rewards by level table, because the book's chart is way too low.

Not exactly sure why PFS would need to have some change / modifier on how much gp PCs are expected to have/gain.

You might get more success and fewer irrelevant answers if you post in the PFS forums. Although as Finoan mentioned, building a 6th level PFS character isn't a normal situation for PFS, as you generally start at 1st level.

Loot placed in adventures and Wealth by Level are two completely different things, and if you are expecting those amounts to match you are misunderstanding their functions.

Wealth by Level is what you would expect a character to have on their person to function effectively. It is not too low. It works great.

Loot placed in adventures has to be higher than that amount, in order to account for consumable use, and unwanted items being sold at 50% value.

The difference between these is an implicit efficiency rate. Loot will never be 100% efficient. It is useful to know that they expect a 50% efficiency rate, but that isn't any sort of errata. More of a relating of adventure design experience.

None of this has to do with PFS.

PFS has charts for the value of a "Treasure Bundle" by character level. I know they use the assumption that a character will get 24 treasure bundles per level (8 per standard scenario) with a maximum possible of 30 treasure bundles per level (10 per scenario). I guess this can be useful info if you are trying to plan your future purposes, but you won't start at level 6. (There are level 1, 3, and 5 pregens you can use if you are going to play a higher level character.)

The reason I am building a 6th level character: I used to play some years ago and then the pandemic decimated our lodge.
During this time, I took a job that was 90% travel.
In the course of one of many moves, I lost all my PFS documentation...everything!
So now I have a new job and have settled in a specific area.
I went to the local PFS lodge and started playing at level one.
While I was playing, I bemoaned the loss of my old characters to the VC of the lodge.
Well, he told me that if I pull up my old data on the Paizo website under Organized Play, and I can demonstrate that I had been issued those chronicles I lost, and that I had adequate Fame for the level of the character, then I can rebuild my character(s) and continue playing them from where I left off! Isnt that nice?
So my highest level 2E character was a 6th level Barbarian. I am trying to rebuild him fairly, hence the questions in my OP.

That at least makes the post make sense.

I can't help much. I don't know where PFS has any of their documentation any more. They changed things around quite a bit about 8 months ago.

And I am not sure that they even have published tables of expected character wealth by level or starting equipment for higher level characters because it is such a rare thing to do.

It sounds like you want the Remaster rebuild guide's gold table. This is for characters taking advantage of the one free rebuild they gave out for the Remaster. As long as your character played a reported game before November 15, 2023 and haven't rebuilt already, you'll just have the gold from the relevant line of the table.
