Can you use Shadow Sheath with Alchemical Bombs?

Alternative title: Are Alchemical Bombs thrown?

Usage a holster or sheath shaped for a one-handed thrown weapon of light Bulk or less

So a item in a shadow sheath needs 4 things to work.

It must be a weapon.
It must be one-handed.
It must be light bulk or less.
And it must be thrown.

An Alchemical Bomb is a weapon (unlike say a Shield bash or Fist)
It is one-handed.
It is light bulk.

But it doesn't have the thrown trait. It says it is thrown in it's description and it has a range of 20 feet but no trait.

The only reason I think this could go either way on table variation is because the Shadow Sheath doesn't actually ask for the thrown trait, just a "thrown weapon".

What do you all think?

Once.

I would say yes and no.

Yes. You could store a bomb inside.

But, no, you would not get infinite bombs from that. The write-up specifically points out that items with Activations don't get it reset with a new copy. A bomb explodes, and I think that would count as not being able to be reused.

The limitation is not if bombs are thrown weapons, but that sheath specifically calls out limited use and activation based stuff as one and done when you use them.

Even more than that, Bombs are explicitly activated - it is just done as part of the Strike action.

The bomb is activated when thrown as a Strike—you don't have to activate it separately.

And the Consumable trait makes sure that the item is most definitely destroyed and not able to be reused.
