Hello, I have a question about pierce armor from smilodon.
If the attack hits, the creature is knocked prone; if the creature is wearing armor with hardness 10 or lower, the armor is broken.
So :
Material Hardness HP BT Armors
Cloth 1 4 2 Explorer’s clothing, padded armor
Leather 4 16 8 Hide, leather, studded leather
Metal 9 36 18 Breastplate, chain mail, chain shirt, full plate, half plate, scale mail, splint mail
What are the means to improve the hardness ?
Adamantite ? other means ?
Thanks for your future answer.

You're pretty much on the right trail with adamantine - armors, especially at higher levels, can be made from a number of materials which can vary the Hardness. Here's a full listing.
While Hardness may not often come into play when it comes to the game, materials certainly should as they are required for magic items of a certain level. I really only bring this up because it's one of those rules that I often forget, especially after spending several sessions in the lower tiers of PFS play.

At least this one only gives the armor the broken condition (and changes the items HP accordingly). Something like an Ankhrav can just keep doing damage to the armor until it is destroyed - especially if they get a lucky crit.
The underlying problem is that the item rules don't give items - not even armor or weapons - any additional HP to handle the additional damage that higher level creatures are dealing. So once you get to about level 8 creatures, if they are allowed to damage armor, they will often one-shot it.
