Crafting mastery technicality

Rules Questions

So the mythic path ability gives you the ability to craft any item as if you had the item creation feats. Is Mythic Crafter an item creation feat? With this path ability and without mythic crafter would I be able to craft any mythic item, just at normal speed as I wouldn't actually have the crafting feat?

I don't think crafting mastery was ever meant to unlock mythic crafter. I don't have anything to back up this claim though, aside from that same feeling you'd probably had before asking this question.

Then again (after looking into it more), most magic item creation feats belongs to a group of feats called (item creation). Brew potion, craft wands, and even inscribe magical tattoo has that label. Mythic crafter however is a (mythic) feat.

Odd. AoN doesn't keep the (mythic) label for mythic feats. It has them for item creation. Maybe it just assumes it was implied or something.

Also, mythic crafter isn't on the page for item creation feats.

Mythic Crafter is not an item creation feat. Take a look on the feat and you'll notice it doesn't have the tag (item creation) in from of it.

"Item Creation", just like "Combat" or "Teamwork", is a category of feats and doesn't necessarily includes all feats that are related to crafting items.

Great! Thanks, that answers my question, and that's what makes the most sense. I figured it was not an item creation feat, but I wanted to check.
