Please unban spellhearts

Banning them from PFS only because of phrases like "After you cast a <spellschool> spell by Activating <the spellheart>" makes no sense because these phrases actually mean only "After you cast a spell by Activating <the spellheart>". I doubt there are any spellhearts with 'wrong' spells in them.
I found only Radiant Prism with (cantrip!) Light which wasn't Abjuration.

Many of these items need an actual errata from the design team to get back to working order, maybe post in the general PF2 channels and suggest an update?

Done.
But PFS people first write "Any previous item or ability which relies on the existence of spell schools to function (such as the staff of transmutation) may still be purchased or chosen." And then ban spellhearts which don't even depend on spellschools at all :(

Where did it say that spellhearts were banned? They're not in the withdrawn list on the Guide, and they are still legal in the revised character options. Am I missing something?

Hmm

The Character Options Page lists several spellhearts as limited with a note that they no longer function with the removal of spellschools.

I went looking for the same thing HMM, found that several Spellhearts in SoM and TV are limited now due to references to spell schools. But the most frequently used ones are still standard.

Okay, only some spellhearts, not all spellhearts. Phew. Because all my casters purchased spellhearts. And none of the spellhearts I chose (I love you, perfect droplet for the mobility you offer!) are currently on the ban list.

But I do hope the others get rewritten soon!

Hmm

Anyone got a list of "limited" and "standard" spellhearts?

My most frequently used ones are Grim Sandglass and, yes, Perfect Droplet. I'm also a bit surprised GS hasn't got on your list: free negative void resistance is extremely useful with all these pesky undead and other evildoers loving void damage spells and effects. And I'm not alone among our local tables: GS is used and noticed. Even if you aren't a caster, it still worth it. Who even needs spells on spellhearts? ;)

You still get some void resistance off the Pearly White Spindle Aeon stone, just a little less. Chill touch did not interest me, so I had not really given Grim Sandglass that much of a look as there are only so many spellhearts one can place on one's armor.

That was a nice protective effect, though! I do hope that we get back those lost spellhearts in the next wave of errata.

Hmm

PS Here is a direct link to Withdrawn Items as listed by the PFS Guide. Thanks for compiling a list, Sebastian!

Mmm. Though not a little? Two times less just for the base version of GS? And 8th and 12th level upgrades of GS give 5 and 10 resistance while the stone doesn't have upgrades. Also it's a PFS Guide item, and this book is rather niche to be honest.

Well, 8th level has Harm or Heal, which for Arcane and Occult classes could be interesting. And then Enervation and Restoration at 12th. Not so bad at all.

It is fabulous for out-of-combat healing, or any game where the players are rushing too much to do medicine checks.

Yes, that true, it's great for out-of-combat healing. But still not for getting void resistance.
