If Kineticist why can't Exemplar!?

Exemplar Class Discussion

Please give them a level 1 feat despite everything they get at level 1. They are a martial and if they are stacked then that is fine, Kineticist get a level 1 feat, so do other martials. It feels very weird not to get a level 1 feat.

Kineticist get Channel Elements, Elemental Blast, Kinesis, 1 or 2 elements, 2 Impulse Feats, and 1 Level 1 Feat.

Exemplar get, Humble Strike, 1 weapon Ikon, 1 Body Ikon, 1 Worn Ikon. Does this not seem fair when compared to the Kineticist? They both can get 3 infinite abilities BUT Kineticist also starts with a free Element blast of 1-4 elements, or 1-4 damage types, based on what feat they choose, Weapon Infusion, Versatile Blast, or just a 3rd Impulse feat.

Not to mention the versatility of Kineticist Elemental blast can hit a wide amount of weaknesses from level 1 with dual-gate, versatile blast. Or the fact Kineticist can spend all 3 actions dedicated to blasting with 1 attack roll and 1 saving throw impulse feat, which I will give credtiign Fated Shot can infact sorta do that but I don't think it can every turn.

As I said in another thread, given the feat-based nature of PF2, this does strike me as weird. You get a class power/option budget, like other classes. As stated, martials and kineticists get that, as well as a feat. Not only as part of your power/option budget but to individualise and, depending on the choice, narrative options. Seems like that is something the Exemplar needs just like any other class, if not more given their destined role.

Exemplars feel like they get enough at level 1, I don't really buy they're weak and need a boost. Seems fine as is, lots of classes don't get feats at level 1.

I absolutely want them dumping all the first-level power into ikons. I mistakenly took a feat at first, and I'm happier knowing that the limited first-level feats aren't just giving the class a fake first level feat choice. If any martial class deserves to skip a first level feat, it's the one starting with three passive and three active abilities.

Passive if you imbue them with your divine spark ,meaning 2 out of 3 Ikons are powerless unless you transfer your divine spark. When compared to Kineticist once again you get abilities that last for 10 minutes,Armor of Earth, Metal Carapace and Hard-wood armor. Not tomention ultility powers which do not realize generally upon 15ft aura, sure some worn ikons are alright but the sheer versatility of a non-caster, non-martial is where I feel needs to be addressed. I am NOT saying the Exemplar is weak, it's level 1 is amazing but that lack of a level 1 feat feels kinda misplaced?

I do agree that exemplar should have a level 1 feat but honestly I think all the classes should

I think it could be a good idea to give them a first level feat but only for things like sanctified soul and twin stars. These feats are really helping define attack style in a way that I don't think warrant creating an entire new weapon ikon for. For example twin stars allows dual wielding weapon ikons and it makes sense to allow the player to dual wield any of the existing weapon ikons. Similarly sanctified soul lets you flavor yourself as holy or unholy. In my opinion you should be able to get to the attack style you want at level 1 and things like dual wielding, damage type, weapon type and unarmed strikes should all be available then if they're going to be available at all. Otherwise you're just making them play something they don't want for a level and giving them a feat tax.

So I'd like to see twin stars and sanctified soul as first level options along with something for elemental damage and unarmed.
