So Yhurston Hillman let it slip on a ENworld article that one of the pact worlds is gonna be blowing up and another planet (outside the system) will take its place. So the question is what planet are we loosing? My money is Apostae. With the ORC license and all the drow on it, seems like it makes the most sense to accidently vanish into thin air.

I believe in the ENWorld article where this was announced someone commented that Thursty had specifically stated it would not be Apostae and the immediate assumption that it would because of the drow annoyed him. Which suits me fine because one of my personal characters is a drow and I'm already dreading whatever changes come to Apostae and how they'll impact her.
In that same comment section, Aucturn was mentioned as a strong candidate, not so much "exploding" as "hatching," and I personally think that's pretty likely.
Another that I think may be a strong possibility is Eox. It got a lot of spotlight right from the beginning via Dead Suns, so there's less of a sense of "they destroyed this planet before we got a chance to play around on it!" And the planet is already severely damaged so it may not be a catastrophic explosion so much as the planet's breaking-apart accelerating and creating seismic events necessitating an evacuation. It'd be easy for Zo! to be off-world when it happens, so we wouldn't necessarily lose him, and it'd give the Corpse Fleet new reasons to be antagonisitc: "Our homeworld was destroyed and the breathers did NOTHING!" And it would give Delegate Nor new political opportunities to exploit as he'd now be the representative of a planetless people, in DIRE need of sympathetic concessions from the rest of the Pact Worlds.
I think it's safe to say that neither Bretheda or Liavara are at risk, if only because the only way I can imagine a gas giant "exploding" would be if it was undergoing the nuclear fusion of becoming a new star, and the energy that'd release would likely crispy-fry the rest of the Pact Worlds. Otherwise, they would just dissipate, which is a lot more slow and would probably allow the habitats there to move to other places, forming some kind of continuity of government.

There's a strong motive to blow up Apostae but we know that's one off the table. Likely something else strange will happen there.
Likely Whatever planet explodes, it needs to do so in a way that has an interesting after-effect on the new lore. Bang and gone certainly would change things but lacks the creativity the Starchamber has.
Some suggested Akiton could explode due to all the thastron on the planet. That certainly provides the means but would need more to make it more interesting as a lasting change.
I'd be sad if Eox blew up, we never really got to explore the Halls of the Living. But it does have a history of blowing itself up. If Eoz does blow up I hope Zo! survives. Maybe Zo! is the one to blow it up just to film it, it would be good for getting more views.
I think Aucturn hatching sounds the most interesting so far.
But I wouldn't put it past the Starfinder team to through us a curve ball thickly coated in new lore candy that none of us saw coming.
