I have a question about bound to mortal.
Quote:
Your familiar gains unique benefits from its bond to you. Your familiar gains an additional 10 Hit Points and can make an either a jaws or claws unarmed attack using your normal melee attack bonus. You choose whether it has a jaws or claws unarmed attack when you first gain the spirit guide as your familiar. If it has a jaws unarmed attack, the attack deals 1d6 piercing damage and is in the brawling group. If you choose the claws unarmed attack, it deals 1d4 slashing damage, has the agile trait, and is in the brawling group.
Normal melee attack bonus : level + proficiency (master) + spellcaster modifier score ?
Reach ?bonus damage ? modifier strength or dexterity ? none ?
Thanks for your future answer.

I am also scratching my head about "Bound to Mortal" and the familiar's attack.
I have no clue if / how this attack can gain in damage.
Is it assumed you can wear Handwraps and improve the familiar's to-hit chance? What about striking & property runes to the familiar's attacks?
If this attack is forever stuck at 1d_, I suppose At the very least, this would enable a familiar to threaten squares and toss items to party members via the Remastered Interact actions, but I have a tough time presuming that "using your normal melee attack bonus" would also mean it get to benefit from your Handwrap Runes.

A familiar gains AC by you wearing an armor and even from the item bonus of your armor runes.
Why wouldn't it gain the same item bonus from your weapon runes as well? After all, "your normal attack bonus" does indeed include your rune modifier in it.
At least as far as the attack bonus goes at least.... I too don't have a clue how it can gain more than 1 die of damage on said attack.

It is extra strange due to the Archetype providing the Feat: Spiritual Flurry
"When you use Spiritual Strike, hit targets become flat-footed until the end of your current turn. In addition, the additional force damage dealt by the Strike increases by 2d6."
The base Spiritual Strike is a power-attack type move that jumps MAP twice. Meaning, for the PC, doing another attack at MAP 10 is generally a no-go.
That leaves Flurry's Off-Guard to really only be usable by your familiar and their attack.
I really do think the author intended for the S G familiar to be able to increase it's Strike damage somehow, but I've got no clue if it's supposed to scale with the creature it's based on, the PC's runes, or if there's some other formula that is supposed to be a no-brainier.
