Mythic NPCs / Creatures

Rules Discussion

Hello, I have a question how create a mythic NPC/creature in 2e edition ?

Lokoa (LN male human monk 15/guardian 4)
Shebe (NG female human wizard 16/archmage 3)
Musafti the Burning (CN male human fighter 18/champion 2)
A free archetype ?

Mekuhare, mythic elder sphinx MR 5 :
Elder Sphinx (CR 16)

Thanks for your future help.

There's no such thing as mythic in 2E, so first you decide what you expect mythic to mean. Then you do that.

Yeah, PF2 doesn't have mythic rules as of yet (and may never, IDK) so a conversion is not possible. At least not without making up whatever you expect mythic to mean.

That said. NPCs don't need to follow normal PCs rules. You always can make an NPC like any monster using GMG Building Creatures rules that allows you to create NPCs up to level 24 easily and will guide you the better ways to add abilities, feats, powers and itens usage in general.

Liberty's Edge

As mentioned above, the most simple way is to assess the level of your NPCs, identify their key abilities (including Mythic ones) and build them accordingly as PF2 NPCs/Monsters of that level.

There are a few conversions of PF1 Mythic in the Homebrew forum that might be of help.

As mentioned, PF2 doesn't currently have "mythic" rules as such.

However, many of the skill feats for Master and Legendary proficiency let the PCs do some pretty "mythic" things: fall any distance without damage (Cat Fall with Legendary proficiency in Acrobatics), run on top of water (Water Sprint; requires Master proficiency in Athletics), jump three times as far or high (Cloud Jump; requires Legendary proficiency in Athletics), survive indefinitely "without food or water and can endure severe, extreme, and incredible cold and heat without taking damage from doing so" (Legendary Survivalist; requires Legendary proficiency in Survival), or even possibly frighten someone so much they die (Scare to Death; requires Legendary proficiency in Intimidation).
