I couldn't find a thread with an answer so I'm going to just make a thread here. I know golems have immunity to spells that have yes next to spell resistance in their descriptor but are they immune to the 1d6 damage from fire shield?
"If the attacker has spell resistance, it applies to this effect. Creatures wielding melee weapons with reach are not subject to this damage if they attack you."
I'm running a magus and we've been running into golems often so it's difficult to get any damage on them since they all seem to have DR 10 except against adamantine or +4 weapons.

Yes, golems are immune (except in the case of iron golems: they are healed).
And Ice Golems fire spells bypass their immunity and deal extra damage.

Immunity to Magic (Ex) An iron golem is immune to spells or spell-like abilities that allow spell resistance. Certain spells and effects function differently against it, as noted below.
The description is clear if spell resistance is allowed a golem is immune to it. The yes in the description of the spell next to spell resistance is to allow someone just a convent way to quickly determine that spell resistance applies. Basically, a golem always makes the spell resistance roll without having to actually roll.
Golems are tough for magic using characters for this reason. Black Tentacles might work on some of the smaller and weaker golems, but vs something like an Iron Golem it is not going to work that well.

There are a handful of no SR damage spells available to a Magus. The only elemental one I can think of is Acid Arrow. The rest deal physical damage subject to DR. They are: Stone Discus and Pellet Blast
You can still use Glitterdust to try and blind Golems, and Grease to trip them up.
If you were a different brand of Arcane Caster, I would also recommend Disable Construct or Eroding Ray, but these are not available to a Magus.
