Starfinder is 2nd priority for Paizo and has been for a couple years now. Its purpose was fulfilled with the success of Pathfinder 2e and while they're not going to turn their nose up at a secondary revenue stream, they're going to have to limp along on a reduced budget, that includes pagecount, releases per year, and art.

I don't use Twitter, but I recently found the Starfinder Reddit. It seems both more friendly and active. There are new people there all most daily. It's very encouraging to see the game's player base growing.
I would find it hard to believe that Starfinder has the same budget or staff size as Pathfinder, so I don't think that's a conspiracy theory. I can see art consistency being hard when there are over 20 different artists per book. My copy of Drift Crisis Case Files hasn't shipped yet, so I haven't seen the art in that one yet.
I could do without the name calling on the forums here, even if it's not directed at me.

I do not find the art to be bad or worse or anything like that. I just thoughtit was a seperate style than usual. Some influence by modern scifis rather than pulling from Pathfinder style or older scifi. probably due to using new folks or new companies (idk how they source their artwork)
I don't have any complaints or issues myself.
