As the Headliner says anyone out there interested in old school 2nd Edition Dungeons and Dragons. Any one want the Forgotten Realms with hints of Hackmaster 4e this is basically an interest thread
I'm not familiar with Hackmaster at all, but I earned my gaming "veteran stripes" playing 2e in the Forgotten Realms, so you can definitely count me interested.
Don't really know Hackmaster at all, but 2E Forgotten Realms is like a magic conjuring phrase to me, so... interested.
4 to 6 players would be awesome
Interested. 2e and Forgotten Realms is just about perfect.
4 is doable. I will look up some stuff and then might make an actual recruitment thread in a couple weeks
Yes interested. How far along is recruitment? Would this be scenario, module, AP or indefinite length?
No recruitment just a testing the waters. I am looking at a few ideas. I hope to have a good indefinite length campaign.
It's been a long, long time since I played 2nd edition, and I've never personally played through This FR Adventure, but I've got friends that still rave about it and the following modules. Sort of an AP set around Daggerdale, of sorts.
If you're looking for ideas. In any event, I'd probably be interested.
I am looking at the Dales, Cormyr, Sembia and Moosea regions.
Looking at a few of the adventures around those areas.
Possibly Myth Drannor, Four from COrmyr, Haunted Halls, ect.
Critzible, I could be interested!
Going through those old rulebooks for that AQ game has made me a bit nostalgic!
I'll be gone for a week, but will check back, and hopefully be ready to submit a character.
What level characters would you be looking for?
1 person marked this as a favorite.

Hey Critzible, a 2nd Edition Dungeons and Dragons game in the Forgotten Realms with hints of Hackmaster 4e. Sounds interesting.
I'll confess I've not played 2nd edition or Hackmaster or much in the Forgotten Realms. But as interest checks go, yeah, I'm interested :)
Looking forward to seeing your recruitment thread.
Have never played Hackmaster either, though I'm rather familiar with KenzerCo.'s hilarious 'Knights of the Dinner Table' comic, where the game has it's origin.
As for the 'Realms, I spent quite a bit of my high school gaming nights with characters running around in Faerun. Good times.
Okay I have narrowed down the adventures and a general idea on how I want to intigalratw and proceed.
